Pizza Delight

We went out for dinner hoping to be quick and the food took an hour and a half to get to our table the staff was sitting around. I have been to other Pizza Delights and it was amazing. This is the only bad one.

My girlfriend and I decided to go to the Penetang Pizza delight for supper last night and had a terrible experience. We were the only ones in the dining room and somehow they managed to completely forget my Broadway pizza which they told me 10 minutes after I heard the waitress ask the cook why it wasn't ready. So my girlfriends food arrived good 20 minutes before mine which makes for a very unacceptable eating experience. We also heard a 20 minute argument between kitchen staff and our waitress which was quite awkward with some of the language being used. Our waitress also complained many times about having pneumonia and how her aunt died of it during the argument. Even our desserts came about 10 minutes apart. With mine being a cheese cake and hers being a skillet cookie. This was an immensely disappointing experience which is unfortunate because we've always enjoyed the pizza from here.

If you are busy and cannot process Door Dash you should probably turn the app off. Very frustrating, to have an order be canceled after it being payed for. You know you can change the times if it's really busy or stop accepting orders for a period of time until you catch up.

If I call and order a pizza you would deliver it. But if I go through a 3rd party you cancel it. I guess your to busy to fill orders.

Been here many times without issue. This most recent take out order of donair pinwheels had pepperoni in them. Called them when we arrived home, and person on phone said they always include it on the donair pinwheels. We've had it before with no pepperoni, online it doesn't list pepperoni, and at time of ordering person taking order confirmed no pepperoni. Not impressed with response on the phone, no offer to refund, no offer to remake it, simply a sorry with a half laugh. This is serious issue due to a food allergy to pork. Now dealing with stomach cramps, and having to deal with pain as it passes all the way through digestive system. Happy Thanksgiving!

First time trying this place. We did take out. Fast friendly. Good pizza. Ordered a custom pizza. It was hot and fresh. I'd order again from here.

Gave this place another chance but should not have. Asked specifically if item has something I'm allergic to in it and was assured it didn't before ordering. The menu doesn't say that this item is in what I ordered but I asked to be sure. After eating it realized it did have that item. Called the restaurant and was told I should have asked for it not to have it which I did. Will not return.

I'm so disappointed in Pizza Delight by the time I called specifically so I can make sure that they understood that when I said double cheese I wanted double cheese lots of extra cheese from corner to corner from Crest to crust do not spare a spot. And when it arrived it barely had regular cheese on it

The Donair pinwheels were fabulous however

The pizza is pretty good for the price but dont bother tipping the delivery driver. I handed him a 10 dollar bill as a tip for driving a single pizza 2 minutes up the road and he looked like I handed him a severed finger or something

Ordered over the phone. Make sure they repeat the order to you or they get it wrong. Pizza was not well made as toppings weren’t placed equally. Also slices were cut in extremely varying sizes.
Was offered a remake but did not feel like waiting an other 30 minutes.

Donairs and donair bites were really good but a little expensive and not much meat on the donair. Will definitely go back though!

Ordered Handheld Donair xtra meat. It was horrible. Little meat. No sauce We ordered 4. Very disappointing

Overall, I was happy with my takeout. Decent food and value for a pizza chain, but not the best pizza I've ever had.

My partner and I came here after getting rained out on a Friday evening at Awenda Provincial Park. Instead of cooking in the rain, we decided to go into town.

We got the Big Taste Big Value special and selected The Works signature pizza and Garlic Cheese Fingers. Food was made quickly and cooked well. The signature pizza was loaded with fresh toppings, so much that they were falling off. Garlic Cheese Fingers were great, but could have more garlic.

What kind of restaurant only has ginger ale for take out/delivery? Pizza Delight Penetang! I couldn't understand it until I noticed it wasn't offered on the menu, then I got it. Also disappointing that they didn't have the salted caramel cheesecake, which was one of the reasons we chose to go there. All that aside, still worth it for the Big Crave pizza! I could eat that every day

This pizza is a taste from your childhood!
Everyone should get the chance to visit a Pizza Delight. The only thing I need to critique is the fact that there aren’t a lot of stores available in the Toronto & East areas. I guarantee if you were to open one in Pickering, Ajax or Oshawa it would be a big success!

We ordered waffle fries as a side but when we picked up our order, we were told they were out and had given us regular fries instead. $9 for regular fries (that came out kinda burnt) was a little disappointing, and I probably would've opted for something else instead.

Pizza was ok, came uncut, tasted a bit bland compared to other pizza chains but toppings were generous. Boneless wings were fresh and crispy. We didn't dine in but the seating area looked nice.
