Pizza e Pazzi Best pizza in Toronto

Wife and I split a ceasar salad, spinach gorgonzola gnocchi, and lamb shank. The salad was perfectly dressed, the flavours of the gnocchi and lamb were on point and complemented each other nicely. They clearly put in some effort on their Christmas decor. Service was prompt, and we were both stuffed at the end of the meal. It was freezing cold and rainy when we went and it was just what we needed. Price was fair, overall a great experience.

Edit: They changed their dough and no longer serve Napoli style pizza, did not like the food the second time I ate here I think they changed owners or chefs. Night and Day difference: (

Best pizza I've had in Toronto to date! I've eaten many pizzas in Italy and the pizza is comparable! Very happy and will definitely return.

Food was okay, nothing special and the pizzas were very salty. We all left super thirsty despite having multiple bottles of $8 water. Salad was pretty basic, and the calamari was alright. Overall, I was hoping for something better considering it was supposed to be 'authenic' and for the price. Service was nice though and helpful.

Is there any review with less than zero star or negative stars? I would give -5 (minus 5) stars.

FANTASTIC! Is usually a word describing the ultimate in experience, but in this instance it just falls short, as this place is so much much more!

The setting, the warmth and coziness of the place and the exceptional food and super nice servers is what brings it beyond that. These people love this restaurant and do everything with pride and joy. From the way you are served to the quality of foods, the flavours the authentic Napolitana cuisine, you will feel immersed in Italian culture and genuine experience that leaves you coming back for more.

Has dinner here may 2022. Had beet salad w goat cheese and Diavola pizza. Friend had pasta w lobster tail. All food was very tasty and we'll presented. Main reason for a 4 instead of 5 was our server was good but a little to efficient and didn't really read our flow. Just kept asking if we were ready to order too frequently. Other than that great experience and I would go back.

I think is time for you guys to remove the sign Vera Pizza Napoletana. Probably you guys never eat a real Napoletan pizza. The pizza is just a wet sponge, unleavened.

Very classy authentic italian restaurant. The servers were all very friendly. My friends showed up half an hour after the reservation on a busy evening, but they were quick to brush it off and not complain at all.

I travel an hour to Toronto to find the best Italian pizza in the city and WOW this pizza was one of my favourites.it was amazing. I recommend the pere and add Italian sausage to it.

It was the first time my boyfriend and I had gone to this restaurant. Mirarah was such a great server. She was informative, fast, and super nice.exceptional customer service and food. One of the best gnocchi I have ever had. Would highly recommend.

I went out with my friends for a birthday dinner. Food was excelent, service was above avarege, we had the best server you can wish for. She was funny and pleasant and very attentive. Atmosphere was great, the place is very cozy and welcoming. We even got the tastiest dessert ever in the name of a birthday girl but it was so big that the 4 of us shared it. Highly reccomend it.

I used to visit Pizza e Pazzi a lot, it was one of my favourite spots in the city for Italian food… however, recently ownership changed and the quality of the food and service has drastically deteriorated. The food does not taste at all like what I would have when I’d visit before, it’s like they started using cheaper quality ingredients and changed the recipes completely. It does not taste good. I had to write a review because of how disappointed I’ve been after visiting the last few times.

I would not recommend this spot to anyone. Don’t come here, new ownership has completely ruined this place.

Me and my girlfriend came today and honestly had the best service I’ve ever experienced from Roberto, every dish we asked about he knew how to explain in perfect detail and gave the best recommendations, the food he suggested was so good we will 1000% be back but only if Roberto is our server! He was kind, caring and attentive, it felt like we were being served by a lifetime friend!

My friends and I visited here over the weekend, the overall experience was less than average. The mushroom ravioli was really good but not enough to go back, other dishes were not that great. We had reservations but we were seated near the back, at a table, where it was really cold. When we asked to move to a booth (which was empty) the staff weren’t too happy to accommodate but ended up letting us sit at a booth…Until we were met with a very foul smell in the restaurant, hard to explain (kind of like dirty wet socks that haven’t been washed in weeks? Idek) only at specific section, we had to move back to our old seats…that’s how bad the smell was. I’d rather freeze. Also, the server touched our straws and the coke was flat. Ultimately, they rushed us to order “the kitchen is going to close soon” not sure why they would give us a 9: 30pm reservation if the kitchen was going to close soon…anyway, the whole experience kind of sucked minus my pasta, thankfully or I probably would’ve just left. Hoping no one else has this experience but just wanted to share mine.

Came here for a Friday date night. The service was great, and we enjoyed the ambiance inside, but overall the food was uninspiring and not very memorable. We started with beet and arugula salad which was dry. The tagliattoni wish shrimp and spinach dish was bland and quite honestly I think it should be taken off the menu. The lamb ragu special was quite nice, and we enjoyed the wine as well, which helped make up for the other disappointing dishes.

This place is amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We especially loved Jorge, the manager, and Roberto our server. Jorge and Roberto went out of their way to make our experience memorable. I highly recommend. On top of the excellent service, the food was delicious.

Really great spot, a smidgen on the pricey side but in my experience it was definitely worth it. Will absolutely be back

The pizza dough was good and properly fermented. It was probably little over mixed, therefore, I was feeling chewiness.

This place is not bad. Staff was great, good atmosphere, generally a friendly vibe. The food itself was very bland though. Crust was a bit soggy, sauce tasted like it had no seasoning, and the cheese had no flavour. It wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t anything special. For the price, I was expecting a lot more.

Great wood fire Neapolitan style pizza! The Margherita pizza was baked to perfection; fluffy yet crispy crust. Our server was super nice as well. Would definitely come back to try some new flavours.

We also experienced totally different service levels from the two waiters that attended our table: while one did her best to ensure we are enjoying our dinner, the other one failed completely. Telling us he will be back in a minute and never coming back, leaving from our table while we would still talk to him, and ignoring us when trying to get his attention. I wasn’t crazy either about the kitchen not being able to contain well the smell of fried food, which resulted in our clothes fully soaked in the smell of fried seafood by the time we left.
Not a bad experience overall, but just a one and done kind of location.

Excellent pizza, authentic taste. Service was great; Antonia was sweet and cordial. However our table had a lot of food flies around us and during our entire dinner. I felt uncomfortable and I believe this is something the restaurant needs address.

Currently eating here right now for my wifes birthday. I'm at a loss for words regarding the service here and food here. The waitress and waiter serving us have gone above and beyond several times. Jorge was great and Mariah was terrific. We mostly had Mariah who made my wifes birthday extra special in 3 different ways. I won't get into all the fine details but needless to say they have customers for life. The food was also phenomenal. The pizza, the pasta, the drinks and dessert were all perfect. Sometimes when we go to a nice restaurant a little thing here or there is off or service is a bit slow or your waiting for a water refill for far too long but honestly this place was perfect.

Thank you guys in the kitchen and ESPECIALLY the wait staff.

Definitely the best Italian restaurant we have tried. We found this gem since we live near the area and it became our favorite place, all the dishes are delicious! And the staff adds a bonus to your visit. Jorge is an exceptional server, he has good knowledge of the menu, he is so friendly and made our experience perfect! ️

Facility was okay, our server (Mariah) was a champion, kitchen was part of an open concept, therefore, noisy, food was excellent.

Great service! Our server James was super friendly and made great conversation. Some of the food was okay, for the pricing we expected more quality. The portion sizes were a bit smaller for some of the salads. Calamari was great!

It was nice! Amazing food. Omg loved the calamari. Giving 4 stars because of the flies, I tried ignoring them but at some point I was getting so irritated.

There’s no accessibility in the restaurant the washroom is not accessible also the Dine In Area is not accessible at all the food was good but expensive

Amazing experience the food is sooo delicious! Proper Italian flavour and if you like spicy ask them for spicy oil it is one of the best oils I’ve tasted!

Food: great! My husband and I thought the Caprese salad was a teeny bit over salted but that's just our opinion. It still tasted delicious. I had the tagliarelle con gamberi, it was really good. The shrimp was super fresh.

Service: we came on a holiday so understandably it's busy. We were acknowledged right away, despite having no reservation. It took a while for us to order, the servers were busy. The food came out fairly fast, which was good.

Atmosphere: lovely, we sat inside and the music was just the right volume.

Tips: we saw a lot of people get turned away at the door. Get a reservation!

We had such an amazing dinner there. Calamari which was minimally battered (awesome) bruchetta, spinach gnocchi with gargonzola cheese sauce and walnuts and mushroom ravioli. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We will be back again, total gem of St Clair!

We had an unplanned late lunch today on their patio. Tried a wonderful Italian beer, phenomenal pizza and their calamari (cornmeal crusted - excellent!). Service was great and food was exceptional - we will definitely be back next time in the neighbourhood.

This is a small and wonderful restaurant that has some of the best Italian food in the city. Would definitely go again for another date night any day.

REALLY good pizza. My partner isn't as big of a fan of wood fired pizza, but I am. We got a classic margarita pizza and the pizza with pears. Both were good but the white pizza was better. Wish there were more vegetarian options for the red pizzas. That's was my hold out for the last star. Great staff! Nice space

Just ordered the 19dollar calamari because the kid of the family felt like a treat.it was definitely not worth 19 dollars. I now remember why, my family and I live Italian, I live around the corner from this place but go out of my way not to go there. Another reminder.

This is one of the most authentic neapolitan pizzerias in Toronto. You can tell as soon as you open the box that this pizza is the real deal. The crust is light and airy and perfectly charred in the wood oven. The tomato sauce is fresh and flavourful, and the mozzarella is creamy but with just enough "pull". The rigatoni alla bolognese was also superb (I appreciate that the sauce is cooked with wine, as it should be). Simply the best takeout experience I've had in a while!

Delicious neapolitan pizza! I loved the white pizza (no tomato sauce). Really thin and delicious.staff ate very nice. All covid safe wearing masks, entry one at a time for pickup only. Thanks for such delicious pizza!

Take out experience. I took a Margherita. The service was warm. I waited less then 10 min for my pizza. I’m Italian but my high expectations for this place were fulfilled completely. The pizza was very good and perfectly done, a real Neapolitan pizza. The quality was good, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I felt like I was again in Italy. Thank you so much for this amazing tribute to my country. I would definitely recommend.

Just found this place- REALLY tasty pizza and better than pico down the street. Usually ready in 10 mins from calling. Magnifico!

Take away - 1 pizza was too spongy, the rest was good, wouldn't hurt to be more generous with the olives.

Ordered a pizza salumi, and the salami seems like it's off and sour, the sauce is sour. It's not good.

I'm urged to write this review after having so many great experiences here. Family run restaurant where it is apparent that the people who run it have the utmost passion for delivering the best flavors, quality and service to their customers. I've tried multiple dishes, pizzas, pastas and desserts and have been very impressed every single time. Regardless of the types of Italian food you enjoy, I highly recommend visiting this place.

Unbelievably good pizza. For the first time I think ever in my life I was genuinely impressed by a pizza I ate. The ham was delicious, the sauce was awesome, the crust soft and flavourful. I make my own pizza at home so typically I am unimpressed by most pizzas but Pizza e Pazzi really lives up to their name as best pizza in Toronto. I'm looking forward to trying every pizza on the menu

If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is the right place, very tasty everything. I highly recommend it, the price is high but it is worth it. La mejor pasta, pizza y quesos. La mesera muy amable al atendernos y sugerirnos un vino italiano

First time going there. What an amazing dinner we had. Hubby and I couldn't decide on what to order so we ordered a calabrese salad, a pasta dish and a white pizza. There was nothing left over, so delicious! We even "cleaned" the plates with the house bread, another delicious bit (could've eaten just that all night). We will definitely be going back, with friends next time.

The food was amazing. Complimentary bread was made out of the pizza dough and it was delicious with the EVOO and balsamic reduction. Spinach gnocchi was filling and the Gorgonzola sauce was so good we used it as dip for the pizza crust.

Incredible food and a cozy atmosphere. Avoided the crowds; it's peaceful, quiet, and simply lovely for a Monday night date.

Loved the ham and sausage pizzas I ordered for take out. The place looked very nice to dine in.
