Pizza Nova

A good meat supreme slice, delicious garlic bread, and a wonderful bottle of water. Would have been 5 stars but the bathroom was broken and the employee could not refer me to the nearest bathroom.

Have been ordering pizza from here for years and quality of the pizza never disappoints.
Never lacks quality

I ordered a pizza for this store, the driver got to the wrong address and blamed me for the mistake. The store owner did nothing!

Never have anything bad to say about this pizza nova, always delicious always fresh and always served with a smile. GREAT TEAM

2 hours to get pizza! First they brought pizza with half ingredients on it, said they putting urgent order to replace it. And hour later pizza still not here! Take your business elsewhere save your time.

Very bizarre interaction with delivery driver. First and last time I order from Pizza Nova.

Placed an order via the Uber app. I always tip through the app.
When handing over the food, the driver demanded a tip. That's fair. These places don't pay living wages.

When we explained it was through the app, he didn't want to leave without another tip. He said he wouldn't get it via the app.a) We order on Uber for the convenience.b) No one carries cash anymore.c) Tipping is important but I can't double tip.d) If the restaurant is short changing you on the tip, please take it up with them.e) Please don't linger at the door constantly asking for tips. We tip every time but we can't tip via the app and directly.

To Pizza Nova, please pay your drivers living wages. Gas prices are skyrocketing. Car maintenance isn't cheap. They shouldn't have to be worried about getting tips to get minimum wage.

Also, if there is a problem with the app, then remove yourself from Uber. Tips through the app should be going to drivers!

Delivery, taxes, and "other" Uber fees alone are 10.8 dollars. Some of that should go to the driver!

Great if you like cold pizza. The man at the front was rude and served my pizza cold. COLD. Do not go here…it’s worth it heading 10 minutes North to the Pizza nova beside Farm boy.

We got a Large Create Your Own Pizza with Mushrooms, Black Olives, Green Peppers, Red Onions, Spicy Sausage, Hot Soppressata (they gave us Hot Banana Peppers instead…) and EXTRA CHEESE! The pizza was solid, just a tiny bit soggy at the crust but everything held together. Was not pleased with them mixing up a premium meat topping with a veggie topping…

This location is also quite slow when it comes to service, I placed an order for pick up, and arrived at the time suggested, but had to wait for 10 minutes after getting there…

I want to ask if such food is for humans? I look like dog food, the old man at work today, go home if he can’t do it, don’t be sick here

Picked up a burnt pizza pie today, didn't realize it until I got home. Too late and too far to get it changed or complain about it.

By far one of the most awful experiences I have ever experienced, if I could leave 0 stars I would. Not only is the owner incredibly rude He also lacks the bare minimum in customer service. The delivery driver couldn't do his one task which was to deliver, Instead he delivered attitude and lack of common sense.

Placed an order through Skip the Dishes at 6: 30. Order was confirmed at 7: 00. No pizza arrived. Skip the dishes tells me the order was canceled. The restaurant tells me it was delivered to the wrong address. Customer service tells me it is on its way. LOL. No accountability. I ordered from somewhere else 2 hours later.

I ordered delivery via SkipTheDishes and was very disappointed. The first time I ordered I was extremely happy with it but turns out it was the Bayview location (which doesn't deliver to my area anymore apparently).

I ordered three panzerottis: two of which were supposed to be fried; all three came out baked. Two of them were supposed to be well done; they were both burnt and dry. All three were split open and leaking juice everywhere (I'm fairly certain this wasn't the delivery guys fault). Ingredients were falling all over the place. It also seemed like the order itself had the wrong ingredients (chicken instead of bacon?).

I usually don't write scathing reviews but this was probably one of the most upsetting deliveries I've had in years. I'm not ordering from this location again or from Pizza Nova for a while after this.

Edit: I had a very pleasant conversation with one of the managers after they followed up on my review. I can't justify giving a higher review than 3 stars at this point given my initial experience but I do feel more positively towards the franchise and this location given how they addressed my concerns.

Service is slow. I order a slice of pizza in the afternoon (1-2 pm) for take-out. No other customers were in the store. The 4-5 guys were busy talking among themselves and talking on the cellphone. Waited over 8 minutes before someone ask me for my order. I ended up with a warm slice of dried pizza. This is not up to the standard of the pizzas that I have purchased from Pizza Nova over the last 20 years.

Disclaimer: I'm not into bashing businesses on line. Before posting this review I did call the main Customer Service number, but the nonchalant approach there proved to be a waste of time.

Stopped here around 7: 00 PM, Sept. 18/20 and picked up a medium pizza with pineapple & pepperoni, and an order of 10 honey garlic wings. Total for the order was just shy of $25.00 and as far as I'm concerned based on the food quality, I was charged double what I should've paid.
With no exaggeration, the crust on the pizza was no thicker than the cardboard used to make the box, the edge of the crust was MAYBE 1/4 inch thick, and the box probably had more flavor. The only other thing to note was the oil from the cheese that had collected on the curled pepperoni.
When I opened the box of wings there was absolutely no sauce on the wings, but there was a puddle of it sitting in one corner. The "sauce", as they called it, was like water, and so thin I couldn't even get it to stick to the wings.
According to Customer Service this cardboard thin crust is the way Pizza Nova makes their pizza, although there was no answer when I asked what would happen if I actually ordered a thin crust pizza. They also couldn't explain why the other locations make a regular style pizza with a decent crust.
When I asked the lady about the wings she was already aware of the watery sauce and said this is what Pizza Nova uses. As of this writing, the remainder of the "sauce" has been sitting in my freezer since Friday and I can still pour it out of the dish, so whatever is in it, it certainly isn't honey.
My best advice, if you're in the area looking for pizza, there are 2 Pizza Pizza locations within 3 blocks, north and south of this place, and at least one other non-franchise location near Yonge & Major Mackenzie. Save your money and go there.

Last night we ordered bacon and pineapple on regular crust and pepperoni with green olives.both so simple but soooo flavourful and good

I celebrated my nomination last night in this fine place. I am glad to say that we had a phenomenal evening and the place was no doubt one of the reasons for this fruitful evening. The waiters collaborated in a gorgeous way, the meals were yummy and my guests were so pleased. We shall definitely return for more events.thanks very much.

Really rude staff. Gave me a hard time picking up a pizza because it was in my girlfriend's name and I gave my name. I described the order and it was the only one sitting there. Ridiculous

There was hair in the pizza. Not a good place. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION

I placed an order for pick up and when I went in to get my pizza after 25 min waiting they said they didn't get the order so I had to order it again and wait another 25 min
Plus it was burnt at the bottom
Called customer service and all they said was we're sorry
I mean I didn't ask for it to be free but this is terrible

The customer service is always quick, excellent character, super nice employees. Will eat here again when I arrive in town.

Really rude staff. Kitchen telling cashier it will take 30 mins. In their own language. And try to sell the old pizza for $10. Would not come back here again. Worry they are going to spit in my food tbh.

Great tasting pizza and delivery arrives on time. They take care with gluten free and have some of the better tasting gluten free crust.

Don't like this location, pizza undercooked twice in a row and had to finish it off in the oven at home. Edit: been ok

Their pepperoni pizza was dominated by tomato sauce and very low amount of cheese maybe I had to order extra cheese! Thin crust was good.

Just got my pizza and I must say, I normally am happy with the pizza I get from this location but this time. I received my pizza to which was burned, dried out and really lack in taste. Quite disappointing.

Fast, limited pizza selection at night though (as expected) but they are open late so I was hoping for more. Friendly workers!
