Worst pizza & customer service I’ve had at a novas pizza.pizza was burnt, ask for double cheese there was very little cheese … I'd like a refund or a replacement pizza from a diffrent location please and thank nova pizza HR reach back to me by my email please

They treat others that aren't like them like dogs they treated my girl friend poorly they made her cry she came out in tears and I ask why are you crying she said the man was very mean and rude to her I don't appreciate this service when she simply was simply just there for a simple reason.

Absolutely the BEST pizza around hands down! My family has been going here for roughly 20 years! Sammy is the BEST pizza nova owner i have ever came across throughout ALL of my travels / food reviews.

Do not order from here. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The rudest staff I have ever talked to on the phone. Food never arrived. Waited over 2 hours and had to cancel. The guy on the phone told me 5 minutes and hung up. Then the other lady was SCREAMING at me on the phone. I will never order from here again, and neither should anybody else.

Marry is extremely nice and helpful every time i come here. This location is welcoming and the staff always leaves a smile on my face. All the staff members are great and kind people. Delicious food!

Ordered pizza for a work meeting at 12: 09 p.m - delivery said within 55 mins. It's now 1: 20 p.m and they're "just preparing it now". Bunch of incompetents. Said it would deliver in another 55 minutes - which makes over 2 hours since we ordered.

The owner, Sam, is one of a kind. He never compromises on quality. He is a staple in the city!

Garbage Service. Lady over there don’t know how to speak with customers. She even doesn’t explain if you ask for any new item. Will suggest don’t go in that store ever.

However, the lady that works there, most likely the owner, is horrible when it comes to customer service. I couldn't believe I walked in and she told me 45 to 60 mins for a walk in special. She basically told me to get out of her store.

I couldn't give zero star this is the worst location i have ever been to. Lady who is taking order really has some issues. Never talk politely never answer politely. There whole staff is the worst. They even put washroom is out of order at 8 o'clock. The staff is definitely racist they started shouting to us when one of my friend asked for parmesan cheese on top she said she didnt like his attitude. I have never been said no for parmesan on other locations.

This location always has fresh pizza. They really care about the customer. Mary and her husband take pride in the Pizza Nova name and products.

Mary Sammy the owner is absolutely amazing. Her service is incredible and her pizza at this location is hands down the best in the country. You have to go to this location if you are in the area. Mary thank you for the amazing Pizza.

Been coming here for years.even after I moved out if the area, I have had pizza from other Pizza Novas and the quality and taste was not the same. Franchises should be the same, but this place always has the right amount of toppings and sauce, the crust is perfect and everything taste fresh. I had the privilege of meeting the owners years ago and they are lovely people.

Pizza Nova is the best chain Pizza going I have been eating this pizza since I was a kid it has never changed five star Pizza Nova

Disaster ‍ If you want free protein, come here to take your pizza with flies and mosquitos. Lady at the cashier is super rude and unhappy. We all deserve happy life, dearest cashier if you are not happy at your work, please find better opportunity. Life is short. All the best.

Here’s my honest review of my many visits to Pizza Nova located at 3417 Derry Rd E, Malton ON, I’ve made many visits to this location and I wanted to share my personal experiences with you below:

Location: 1 star
So this is where this location wins with no other Pizza Novas close by. Yes there are plenty of Pizza options but this location serves the community at the very busy intersection of Derry & Gorway. The plaza has many entrances and there is plenty of free parking.

Staffing: 1 star
When you enter the business and depending how busy it is you may be greeted right away or it sometimes takes a couple of minutes for them to serve you as they are always busy. I’ve been reading some of the complaints of other reviewers but have had nothing but a positive experience. The owners are nice and sometimes serve the guests. No complaints here on staffing.

Food: 1 star
This location always serves fresh, hot and nicely prepared pizzas. Drinks are also available for purchase. All of your favourite Pizza Nova dishes are served here and Pizza Nova continues to be one of my favourite “fast food” pizza chains out there.

Service: 1 star
If you call ahead and order there is usually never an issue with the service. Walk-ins are always welcome and we usually leave within 15-20 minutes of picking up a walk-in special. I’ve visited this location almost 20+ times and only had an issue once, which was an understandable “mess up”. I did notice though one time it was very busy and they struggled to keep up with orders. It’s worth mentioning a few customers were upset but I will give them the full star for this rating.

Wow factor: 0 stars
The store itself needs a little TLC, especially the tomato can facade wall. It’s looking a little sun dried and weathered. The owners have a unique opportunity here as there aren't many locations nearby so this could be an opportunity for them to create a little bit of a unique dine-in experience to create that wow-factor. As of now, there isn’t one except the fact that it’s the only location in the area.

All in all, this Pizza Nova location has a ton of potential to do some fun things. I give this location a 4 out of 5 stars.

Best pizza nova location, very good customer service and the owners are the nicest people, been going there for years.

By far the best pizza and panzerottis in the area. Not only is the pizza great, but the owner's, Mary and Sammy, are an absolute pleasure to meet and have a conversation with. I appreciate them both bringing a smile to my face everytime I am there.

Sam is a racist.

My wife and I received a burnt slice of pizza that the owner left in the oven for fall too long. When we asked him to rectify this by providing a new, unburnt slice of pizza he began swearing at us while mopping the floors.

Finally he went to warm up a new slice, but without washing his chemical ridden hands from mopping the floors. When we asked for him to wash his hands before touching our food he refused and made racial remarks to us stating that his hands aren’t as dirty as “Indian people”.

Customer service and district managers were called immediately on our end. We were told Sam will have to answer to his actions.

Videos of this incident have been recorded, stay tuned as they will be posted to social media if Sam isn’t disciplined correctly. We plan on pressing charges against Sam for his racist remarks.

It's pizza nova, probably the best chain pizza store, 9ther than my own mom's pizza that's the only pizza I eat.

My friends go to this pizza nova location every Friday, and both the food and the service is excellent EVERY SINGLE TIME. The owner, Mary, is very nice and makes our trip to pizza nova the highlight of our week.

I love this location so much! The staff are always so warm and welcoming. I’m always greeted and treated so kindly. The pizza is always super yummy too. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I always leave happy and smiling. Keep up the great work guys, God bless!

The lady at the front talks to you like she doing you a favour by taking your order waited 35 minutes for a pick up at the store. While she keep making sure all deliveries are on tine does not give a damn about walk ins
People like this should not be in business

I went here and it was a horrible experience. The customer service wasn’t bad but the food quality was terrible. In the pizza box they did not put anything to stop the top of the box from hitting the cheese and when I opened it I had no cheese on my pizza.

After the server screamed at me because the guys in the back screamed at her I assumed they were making a pepperoni pizza. After waiting for a half hour the server gives me my garlic bread. She assumed I would want it now. I said I want it with the pizza. After another 15 minutes, I asked if they were making the pizza and the server said yes, in another hour. I left and wont be back.

The owner lady is super rude and dry. She makes you feel as if she's doing you a favour. The pizza is great just like any other Pizza Nova.

The lady is very polite, helpful and kind at front, I bought pizza and was short money, the lady in front was very kind enough to take the money anyways. The service was excellent and i'm going to tell my friends to buy pizza from this location.

Just stop by by Pizza Nova to grab a quick slice of Pizza. But unfortunately I am disappointed that don't have hand sanitizer. I wasn't able to use washroom due to Covid. But when you open the door and interacting with money it should be some kind of a disinfection and for employees and customers specifically at this difficult time.

The owner was really rude and the lady on the cash was like she does not need customer.it was truly terrible experience in this store.

Asked for a slice, it got heated for 9 minutes and was burnt when I received it and they refused to replace it. Pizza ordered for pickup was missing a topping. Most recently, I entered the store and saw that a new pizza was being brought up for sale by the slice. I asked for a slice from this pizza, the female worker started insisting that it was the same as all the display pizza. It wasnt. All display slices look shrivelled and old. Never returning and you shouldnt either

Went to this Pizza Nova bought a pizza and wanted to pay separately for a dipping sauce only had $. 95 which the sauce is $1.05 so I offered to pay debit the Indian woman said "What I'm going to lose more money taking that charged then what the sauce is worth. " Their's no sign that says they have a minimum charge for debit. Terrible service.

I've had my order messed up on two occasions now, by the night guys.
I will not be going back.

We went there around 12Pm. One mid age indian lady attendant was taking our orders n she was too rude and hell of a person.i think her fav color is white not black. N we told her that somebody in our group is allergic to meat still they were cutting all pizzas with same cutter.terrible service.n terrible lady.

The lady in the cashier is rude. Asked me if I want the pizza to go I said to go. When the pizza was done she put it to a box for dine in (OK? !). So I asked for a to go bag she then proceeded to argue with me and said that I lied - WTF? !

Also a slice is too expensive $5.30. Other pizza nova location charges $4.65.

Stay away, charges expensive and poor customer service. Just read the other negative reviews.

Pizza Nova is a huge disappointment for me.its overpriced and slices are beyond small.but the price is pretty high.cheese slice and Canadian slice were almost 10 bucks.its ridicoulous! Never again!

5 star customer service, Sammy and Mary the owners, really care about customer service and are never rude to customers. This is the best pizza in malton hands down.

Ordered a medium pizza, tasted horrible.crust was burned and hard, dough was stale although just came out the oven and way too thin almost broke apart how hard it was.never going back.

I've known them my whole life, I grew up in Malton, never did I have a bad experience. I don't know what those bad reviews are about. Everyone has a bad day.
Mary and Sammy are the best franchisee. They've been the pinnacle of pizza nova since 1992.
Mario makes the best pizza. Always ask for Mario to make your pizza, Sammy taught him well. John makes good pizza when Mario isn't there.

The mature Indian woman who works there is extremely rude. I used to drop by often until I encountered her and will never be coming back again. She should learn a thing or two about customer service. She screams and shouts at customers. Will be ordering pizza online from a different retailer from now on.

This Pizza Nova was extremely hospitibal. I was working on a parking study and they graciously extended me the offer to stay in their building while I worked. Service was warming and welcoming. The pizza was fresh and delicious! Would recommend to anyone who is just aching for a bite to eat!

I never get what I order the first time. It’s the middle of the day and today my wedges were left out. What’s the point of using the app to order when you don’t get all of the items?

Also, the customer service is awful. When I called the restaurant to explain the situation I was abruptly transferred to a customer service call centre. No one there seemed sympathetic at all, but they said the wedges would be sent out. I’m still waiting and the pizza is cold.

Will not be ordering from the Malton location again.
