The staff was really bad and there was one person who was on training and he did a mistake, the other turban guy who works there from before just started to talk in a bad manner to him. Everyone make mistakes but no one has a right to talk to any new trainne in a rude way. The trainne guy was so innocent and he also didn’t speak about himself even. It was really bad.

I mistakenly went there on my lunch break for a slice and z pop.
The man was so slow I waited 15 minutes and decided to just leave.

We will miss Jarnell at Eastgate Square once torn down. Many years of fine pizza and good laughs. Thank you fine sir

They charged me twice I bought their gift cards and they said the system wasn’t working and charged me once for the cards and once for the pizza. Don’t buy the gift cards!

Very rude customer service. The way they talking to you makes you feel very uncomfortable. Will never come to this store again.

Great place for some good food as well as great variety deff a awesome place for just you or even the family n deff enough seating Jan, 18,19 2023 was also here once before prob a month ago got 3 coka-colas lol this time 2 bottles of Coke Pizza Pizza King St. East n John St. North great staff n ownership percent and super clean n presentable yo. Extremely rude driver, understandably we missed his first call to us when he arrived & we called back immediately when we saw we did but the drivers attitude was gross. He was mad saying he was waiting for 10 minutes so he left (he waited for 3 mins and only called once). Maybe teach your employees better customer service because it’s uncomfortable and off-putting.

Ordered a medium pizza here,
Got a thin crust pizza and was told that it’s regular dough even though I have been ordering pizza here for the past 2 years.

I ordered online and I had to change the dairy free extra cheese option 3 times to regular extra cheese before it would reflect on my order. After I sent the order, and received it was burned on the outer crust and uncooked in the middle AND it was dairy 28free cheese with a mozzarella base. When I contacted customer service they told me that they could send me a replacement Izzard with the same toppings when they refused to change the dairy free pizza to regular extra cheese, I asked them to just leave it off they refused. Customer service then proceeded to leave me on hold for 28+ minutes before they disconnected me. Absolutely unacceptable!

The food at this location is great, however the staff are pretty rude and made me wait a whole 30 minutes before they started my order while I was the only customer in the store.

The receptionist (lady) don’t know how to treat their customers. Even-though, she don’t have any experience to take orders as well as the pizzas is not tasty enough. I’m definitely sure if this lady work more at this place this gonna close soon.

It's laughable to even think you'll convince anyone from Hamilton that this place has good service or food. They probably got the 3.5 rating by saying they are LGBTQ friendly for Google. Lol imagine downtown pizza pizza being friendly at all you'd have to be insane. They will never remember your order entirely or ever cook anything properly. Pizza pizza the company itself is garbage never mind the worst location in Hamilton.

I had ordered wings and the wings didn't come as ordered and also look like it was eaten or did something please be careful when ordering from here also I will be going to the food safety board and to be honest they shouldn't even receives 1 star smh what a shame

Very bad owner, his name is Mohan uncle and he’s very rough is talking with his very own employees and always speaks bad words to them and curse them. He doesn’t even pay his employees on time and didn’t give me full pay. The truth is they always use old veggies and dough even if they are expired and hygiene is a big 0 over there. They will only use gloves is customer are watching. They really don’t care about hygiene and the quality or shelf life off the food. All that they crave for is money. They put less cheese in order to save money.

I will never order from here again as I have been waiting for my pizza for 4 hours and when I called they try to say they called and they didn't I was put on hold for 30mins so I hung up and called again and they did the same thing so the 3th time I called I yelled at them and I yelled and all the guy say was we called you I say I'm looking at my phone right now and I didn't get a call from yous

Horrible sanitary conditions ants were everywhere on the floor and tables and the bathroom's were shutdown for poor sanitation quality

My favorite spot in canada for the pizza. It is perfectly made and so delicious. Their creamy garlic and cheddar jalapeños dip are the best one. The half moon cheesey bread is also the best one. Just love it

The employee on July 12 at about 11pm was one of the worst I have encountered in that he ignored me standing there for at least 10 minutes because he was busy handling online orders, and when I asked him how long to get a medium he seemed upset I was in there asking for pizza and told me I have to wait. How long I asked, minimum 20 minutes he said. What's is the maximum time I may have to wait, I asked. He responded he did not know. I walked out saying no deal and he should close the doors if he did not want customers walking in. He then came back and said no more than 20 minutes. Nope, I said, I am concerned you may spit into the pizza. I now go to another location

I have been to this location for years, as I used to work downtown 20+ years.
Did the franchisee change? Appears so.
I brought 5 kids in there on Sunday. I ordered 6 slices. The female employee working cash walked and talked like a zombie. It was eerie and disturbing. As I protected my kids from 2 loitering males (1 guy came within 2 feet of us), Zombie lost track of time and I finally had to ask for my pizza.
8 minutes later the slices were black.
New slices in oven.
30 minutes of hell. Darn shame too. Felt good to yell at the stranger though. Too bad I didn't get the backup from the store. I'll never go back.

Worst pizza pizza ever
As i ordered 2 halfmoon cheesy bread. The guy was offering me a old breads sitting there since 30 minutes. I asked for a new one so he took 45 minutes just to make a fresh one. Because he did not wanted to make new one.
Horrible experiance.

Worst experience ever. The guy taking orders were completely out of his mind. Staring at my female friends and hitting on them continuously and making them feel uncomfortable. Despite of making him realize that he was not doing good he continued his creepiness. Don't ever visit this place with girls. Food was the worst ever tasted.

The staff when I've gone into eat, are always friendly and the food is fine. But when I get delivery my order is never right and the food quality is lacking love and actual toppings. I think they're too worried about the stupid 40 mins or free bs instead of food quality.

Got a slice they "warmed it up" felt like it just came from the fridge when they handed it to me and walked away.

Ordered a panzerotti tonite and thought maybe I will try the chicken sandwich. Panzerotti was ok. Can't say that for the chicken sandwich. I had a couple bites. It tasted ok but then I noticed pretty pink looking chicken. Gross. Called customer service. Best they would do was 4 dollar credit a 1! Customer service pizza pizza. I hope and pray I don't get food poisoning from your new chicken sandwich

Well i always order my pizza from this same place and it’s not bad but today I picked my order from store and open at my house, what i saw bad pizza. It should be regular dough but was thin crust. Very disappointed.

PIzza itself was alright, but I will be avoiding this establishment and its staff as much as possible. Place was empty but still got a mute, grumpy cashier who couldnt be bothered. Awkward transaction. Just a lack of people skills and an overall strange, unfriendly vibe. Pass!

A great location and always spot on service by the professional staff. Cannot say I have ever ran into a complaint with this specific location.

Well I went in there and ordered to walk in specials thin crust 2 toppings for $7.99 each I started my order at 8: 25 so they made the pizzas then they burnt II Pizza which was a Hawaiian the first pizza with pepperoni bacon crumble and Italian ham so I had to wait another 15-20 minutes for the other Pizza to get redone again and I thought their policy there was 30 minutes or it's free

I am not a picky person. You get what you pay for but DO NOT buy the honey garlic dipping sauce until they replace what they have in the front fridge. It smells and tastes like chemicals and mold but it's not past its date and looks fine. No clue honey garlic could even go bad lol. But something is not right about what's going on with it.

These guys are awesome! I finally had to write a review. I have ordered their pizza several times, and it comes delivered 20 minute after my online order! The pizza is HOT and FRESH with GENEROUS toppings! I don't know what kind of magic allows you to deliver it so quick and fresh, but keep it up!

So stopped to get the large 3 pop. Waited more then 10 mins before was served. Then limited for pop. Pizza's were good but not like the sauce being used now.

The menu is various with choices to suit many people. A very well rounded fast food chain to go for a slice of pizza.

Not sure why my review about this Pizza Pizza was deleted, but I will be reposting it since I noticed.

I used to use this Pizza Pizza VERY often. I always used this location after midnight because its usually the only takeout open in the area so late in the night. The store is generally clean and presentable (not counting the washrooms).

Ordering anything other than a veggie pizza is always a hit or miss. Ordering a veggie pizza they seem to take better care for some reason. 8/10 times I would order dipping sauces I would never get them. Also certain staff members at the till IME would try to pretend like I wasn't supposed to get any change back and would try to pocket those extra nickels, dimes, quarters thinking I am too tired to notice.

Since then I have stuck to ordering strictly online to avoid being ripped off, and stick to ordering anything but the pizzas (unless it's veggie!)
The wing box is my favorite right now, and the sweet potato fries are pretty good. There used to be a guy who would work those late nights and he was always a nice guy and he was the reason I started ordering take out from this location again. I don't think he is there anymore but I hope they keep hiring more like him (I wish I knew his name- he is the reason my review went from a 1 star to 3 star)

I've ordered from this location for nearly over 20 years now and I'm done, rude delivery drivers that curse when not tipped

i only use this location when it's late night and i have ABSOLUTELY no other options for take-out food.the store is consistently open till 2am, 6-7 days a week.the staff over the years, are hit and miss.the younger guys def have a bit better people skills compared to the older folks that own the store.the pizza pizza wings, while not cheap, are very good in quality.wing size is average, not big or small.my beef is with the pizza.very cheap with toppings, and corporate doesn't allow the stores to swap out cheese for another topping.bottom line: if you have other options, go elsewhere.otherwise if this is your last option, you'll be paying for overpriced pizza.

Bad pizza and bad customer service ever. First time I ordered pizza with extra cheese the crust was too thick and came with less cheese. Second time I order pizza for delivery and driver forgot mask and he blamed us

I certainly liked their dishes and customer service, awesome location next to where I live. The workers are always nice. Will come visit again.

Pizza is good but a little old. And none of them are wearing their masks properly. They either aren’t wearing one at all or have them under their chins.

The pizza we receive everytime used to be good but ths store employee/owner dont know how to deal with customers. I placed the order and realized I selected wrong pizza crust, I cancelled the order and placed new one, in a minute I received the call from store employee/owner. He yelled on me as I wasted their food, however, I cancelled the order within 5 minutes. Literally it spoiled my mood. I would never order from this location but unfortunately only this pizza pizza delivers to my address. That's why, I always prefer to pick up from different store instead of having a delivery from this store.
Terrible customer service I have ever received from the store.

Very nasty pizza pizza ever. When I walked in that pizza pizza the employees talking in different language. I understand their language so I know what they were talking about. The one who is working on my pizza he asked another employee for new oil because the old one was bad. Another employee refused to give him oil and said use it, it does not matter and they cook my pizza with that dirty oil. I feel too bad about their customer service and never visit this pizza pizza again.

Decent pizza, vegan friendly and good price.had one bad run in with pizzapizza but they fixed the order and all was well.

I spent my last $27 on a pizza with what tasted like freezer burnt toppings and was absolutely disgusting. Would really appreciate a refund

Stupid cashier! When I was ordering, Just change L size to XL size, and I’ve already said sorry. But the cashier said: ” yes, of course you should say sorry” actually there are drinks in with the xl pizza. But the cashier said because my mistake he cannot give me drinks!

This place is very crazy on Mondays and Tuesdays. The cashier is really nice but the person who cooks, named Matt, that guy is really very rude to customers. I recommend not to go at this place as that guy is having a mental problem of arrogance but still owner is with him. He cooks really worst pizza. Not recommended for these 2 days!

There is a guy who calls himself nephew of the owner is always so rude and doesn't serve customer with respect. Last time I went there and ordered cheesy half moon and he refused to serve me and then I placed the order online, they called me then its not available and they are cancelling the order but they didn't and called me again. Saying that they called by mistake. Need to work on staff definitely.

Delicious pizza and their crust is so very good and tender. The price is very reasonable and service is sharp.

Guy could not remember what we ordered and kept asking for toppings. When we got our pizza half the topping were not what we asked for and there were anchovies on it. 0/10 awful customer service would never order from there again.

Been going to this location for the last 20 years, the owners a cute couple who have worked there since my first visit. Great food and great atmosphere.
