On the tip screen the guy entered a tip for me. I'm not sure if he gave himself a tip or not because he pressed so fast. I just find it a little weird. He was nice though.
I am a student that walked into pizza pizza for lunch, I was short on money and I asked this cashier if I can still get a pizza slice for $2 instead of $4. This kind man named Tariq was so kind about it and without hesitation, gladly gifted me a pizza slice and pop. This was so heartwarming knowing good people are still out here. Thank you!
Wasn’t a clean table in site to sit at.all empty, just visibly dirty. Not busy. While staff were chilling and chatting wuIke every table in the restaurant was filthy and chairs were scattered everywhere. Brought it up to the man that served us and he blamed it on the ‘kids’ who made a mess earlier. I think he meant ‘guests’ and why is a guest expected to clean and wipe the table before they leave? Pizza was good though.
Today i got my order from this pizza pizza here on whites. It was okay i guess nothing spectacular, the pizza didn't look all that fresh and i was uncomfortable aswell by the employee with the long hair, brown skin, he was kind of weird and provocative in my opinion and he also didn't give a my fries when i asked the first time.
Customer service is an issue here (you can read from other reviews as well) I walked in to grab a few quick slices for my children but the pizza on display looked more than a day old to say the least so I opted for a fresh small cheese. Within 10 seconds of paying for my order, I quickly asked to change it to a medium since it was literally like $0.50 more. The staff member, that was not friendly to begin with abruptly said, “no. It’s already printed” (not possible, I literally JUST payed and it would not have possibly printed by that time) I asked if he could just mention to the people (3 feet away from him) to make it a medium and I would, of course, pay the difference. He again said, “no, I give you what you asked for. ” I suppose my initial order, 10 seconds before my correct order, was my fault, but there was no reasonable reason why he could not have changed my order. He was clearly in a bad mood and wanted to get back to stocking his chips. This location really needs some in-depth training in customer service.
I walked in and went to use the bathroom before I ordered and got out of there as soon as I could. I've never written a review just to talk about how disgusting BOTH of the bathrooms were but they didn't even have soap in either of them to wash my hands, or hand sanitizer in the front. If this is any indication of the cleanliness behind the counter I am never eating at this location.
I never seen a store dirty like this pizza pizza location. The washroom looks like they never clean it. Bad customer service. Not going to this location at all, don't want to get sick.
Ordered the pizza by calling 416967111. They told me 20 min. I arrived a bit early. The employee wasn't friendly. The way he spoke to me, I almost left the restaurant. But I was hungry so I waited. Pizza was ready in time. Paid for the pizza. The employee seemed angry. Anyways I took the pizza home. Pizza was a 4.5 out of 5. Probably one of the best pizza pizza I ever had. Kudos Ordered a large pepperoni pizza with a dipping sauce. Total $13.09 Great pizza and a great price.
Was there (for the last time) Sunday April 24th. Ordered fries, was told 5 minutes. 20 minutes later still no fries. Asked was told 5minutes. I then watched them drop my fries. Asked if thise were mine she said 2minutes. 27minutes later I walked out. STILL NO FRIES. I did notice that they pay no attention whatsoever to people waiting. Every person I saw waiting had to keep asking when food be ready. More interested in taking your $ and then your on your own
Today I came in for the combo slice and pop with a dip. The lady charge me 4.99 then after I go wash my hands and come back she say that I need to pay a dollar more but the sign says 4.99 for the deal. I argued the price up on the board above the cash. Then also when I went to the truck the pizza was cold so they didn't even heat it up that much at all! Being cheap. Although the ovens are on all day anyway so what gives? I wanted something warm as I work outside. TERRIBLE PLACE.
GO TO METRO INSTEAD better food anyway as they serve hot pizza as well
I go to the bathroom to wash my hands the hot water is turned off. So there's only cold water to wash your hands while it's still freezing out side. Stop being cheap!
Asked for contactless delivery and to leave it on my porch, I’ll grab it when he leaves. The guy rang my door bell at 1am and stood there and waited for me
I’ve been attending this Pizza Pizza location for about 20 years now. It hasn’t been good nor has it been bad. It’s been consistent.
Today I used the 50% off to order these two pizzas.
Thin crust with pesto sauce, cheese, tomato, sun dried tomato, spinach. Surprisingly it was really good and didn’t taste like cardboard like other pizzas from pizza pizza.
The second is thin crust with cheese, jalapeños, red onion, bacon, Chili flakes. This was the best of the two.
3/5 rating. It’s better than other Pizza Pizzas and taste better than the cardboard box it came in.
No Courtesy Poor in Manner the Counter / Sales Person It was Saturday afternoon, not an odd time went in to have a slice, not a single customer in but had to wait for almost 5 minutes before he attended me, I just walked out.
Customer service is terrible- it took 25 minutes to lodge a complaint- ordered pizza and paid for extra cheese and they did not put extra cheese. The customer service took FOREVER and way longer than it should and wanted to credit the “extra cheese” cost. Never again.
Went in for a pretty large order of three large pizzas with large box of fries and drinks, and the staff here was extremely helpful even offering to help me take my pizza to the car. Pizza was also hot and fresh and tasted delicious. 10/10 service
Good pizza. The guy behind the counter was very nervous and beyond careful ordering people not to lean on the tables which were in front of the counter.
Went in to ask for just a creamy garlic dip last night, i was the only one in the store and there were two employee. They both looked me in the eye and went back to talking to each other, I called out to them after a couple minutes of waiting at the counter and was completely ignored. They continued to glance at me and completely ignore me for 5 minutes before they decided to take my order
Nasty veggie pizza and found a piece of pepperoni in the pizza. My son is allergic to it too. They told me they can get the same pizza remade or $6 for it. Pizza Pizza have lost their touch. Disappointed.
Good service, but it seems that the quality of the pizza took a decided downturn several years ago; and has never recovered. Just to be clear: this applies to ALL Pizza Pizza locations; and not just this one. The cheese.the sauce.even the toppings.much more bland than ever before; and the crust is like cardboard, now. It used to be tasty, all by itself.
I can only imagine that it's the result of corporate decisions to get the cheapest possible ingredients. Aside from that, the toppings are sparse, these days. Again, not just this location, but every location that I've visited in the greater Toronto area.
Absolutely DISGUSTED. I came here for a slice of pizza and well there was no selection other than pepperoni or cheese that looked like it had been sitting there for 12+hours. So I thought km hungry I will get a pepperoni slice and add some feta cheese to it.the cashier (who just was handling cash) proceeded to get my pizza slice, no big deal he wasnt touching it and I figured he would put on gloves or have the cook put the feta on.but a big NOPe he handled the feta cheese with his DIRTY hands. I said ahh you just touched feta cheese withwit washing your hands.his response was we all do this and wash our hands all the time.ahhh well after each transaction perhaps wash your filthy hands before literally touching food that people will be eating! Anyhow I did not get the pizza and just walked out.it's no wonder people get sick after eating take out! Lesson learned, NEVER eat here again I have never seen anything like this at pizza Nova, I will stick to them!
I never review any restaurant before. I was just going through the other reviews Nd thought of putting my own review. I stopped coming at this location cz the night time cook changed. He moved to other location in Pickering I think. But last week I saw him at this location again. He is just the best. His customer service is just awesome. He makes pizza with just proper amount of toppings.quality is just too good. I always come this location now. Must try!
Worst pizza pizza today i go for pizza no one listening me cook on his phone wearing headphones i call so many times but no one listening me and cashier also sitting at back.when i call she came with very attitude.
Very bad work place worked here as a delivery driver for 2 days never went back.
The OWNER MAKES YOU WORK AS. A DOG. A SLUMDOG
. The owner only pays you $8 cash per hour while minimum wage is $14. On top of that he will make you cut the tomatoes chicken onions pepper mushrooms. And make boxes and mop the floor. Totally not Worth it. I dont know how the other. Driver zia has been doing this job for the past 6 years.
To get my payback from the owner I promised him I would come everyday 10-6. I never showed up he kept calling me with several different numbers then I just got a new phone number.
I don't order Pizza Pizza very often, but when I do, this location is always a good bet. We ordered online and it was a quick and easy process.
The staff at this location are always friendly and do their best to make sure your items are correct.
The only drawback to Pizza Pizza in general, is that the pizzas are ALWAYS lightly done, which some may like, it's just not my preference. We ordered two large pizzas, both two topping, and the total came out to $30. A tad bit pricey compared to other pizza restaurants in the area.
We decided to try out their new Dairy Free Cheese Option on one of the pizzas and unfortunately it was just okkk. The Dairy Free Cheese did not melt all the way, even when we put it in the toaster oven at home. It also had such a gooey consistency, that it kind of stuck to the roof of your mouth.
Props to Pizza Pizza for including a Dairy Free Cheese option on their menu though!
