Pizza Rustica

I visited pizza rustica this Monday As I was staying at the hotel across and happened to walk by, the aesthetics inside caught my eye & I was greeted very politely by their server Shanzeh who was very helpful and made sure me and my friends had a great experience. I was with two of my friends we decided to dine in and had some white wine and we ordered pasta which was delicious! The server Shanzeh assisted us and helped us decide what to order and made the perfect recommendations and we will definately be returning back anytime we are back in the city!

Grabbed a pizza to go after a Jays game and the service was great, even brought us waters while we waited and the pizza was delicious. We'll be back!

The pizza was really good, with a thin crust, rustic style with great flavor. They also had a really unique, functional, small blue ATM on their patio.

Honestly it’s a hit or miss.sometimes pizza is good, sometimes it’s burnt, other times it’s the wrong order

If I could give this place no stars, I would.

The food was below average. The waitress came and gave us our dishes, with no cutlery for 10 mins. And when I asked, she just said "oh I thought you had em"

Also their heating was broken, and they got ingredient substitutions wrong after our party was extremely clear with the order, and then they provided a single bill and assumed our group would split equally without asking, and charged automatic gratuity for the bill

We were freezing
We were just smelling the grease
The calamari were too expensive for the size
The pizza were ok

Food was meh, which translates to not inspiring. Salad was wilted and old, pizza lacked flavor. It was cold out, we froze in the restaurant, which doesn't say much for the place.

The pizza was great, the drink menu and availability was poor, the restaurant was cold both literally (some out coats on) and figuratively (the furnishings and decor don't come together in a way that creates a warm and inviting environment).

Garlic bread hard, dirty plates, drinking water smelled, flies everywhere, pasta not cooked properly, and overpriced - waste of $50 bucks - was super hungry after a late night flight and just needed somewhere to eat, bad decision to go here

The host and manager were really friendly but they need to do a complete revamp in that place!

The pizza is so great and tasty. The perfect amt of everything on all pizzas. The service took a long time and we were the only people there. However, friendly staff. The atmosphere could use some upkeeping.

An absolute dreadful experience! The people who give this 5 star are either fake accounts, or paid to write it. We had a server Fatima, who took orders on her phone. But still how got most peoples orders wrong. There were flies EVERYWHERE.and the food was either cold, or just plain bad. BEWARE

Very bad, pizza was bad, burned, and servis so bad I asked to not pay burned pizza, waitress she didn't want remove from my bils, I was so sad, and soup was bad too
I will never come back! Don't weist money!

The waitress was very nice but my friend order a pizza with vegetables and a LITTLE of goat cheese and got alot of goat cheese and the vegetables were all wet because of the cheese

Let me start by saying this is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

We had a reservation for 20 people for my best friend’s birthday, which they clearly were not prepared for. We had to wait for multiple tables to be put together for us. We were told the food would be an hr and 30min wait which we were fine with. However, we had to wait 30mins to have our orders taken and receive water. The restaurant itself lacked A/C and is infested with flies.

Now let me start with the food. Absolutely terrible. The toppings for the pizza definitely come frozen. Vegetables taste like they’ve had freezer burn and the chicken taste basically straight out of a box. $9 for a bottle of corona and 3.50 for pop with no refills… amazing.

Next comes the service, that was a nightmare. The server 1. Forgets to mention the 18% gratuity 2. Fails to mention a DEBIT charge of $15… 3. That the party would be ONE bill. All crucial information when hosting a party. She also was taking orders on her phone and messed up the FIRST order she took. When it came time to split the bills, she asked us to help her split the bill… Clearly she was new and inexperience as well as untrained. She was absolutely flustered and completely messed up the bills. We were charged extra drinks and food that we didn’t even order. We were given three bills that were split terribly and asked to etransfer the differences among each other… The owners walk in at the same time and provide us with the worst explanations for these extra charges and mistakes. Rather than ask us what the problem is, they would ask the manager why we had separate bills. The manager who was also present before the owners came in was no help to the server and provided her with no assistance. My friends and I have all worked in restaurants as either servers or managers and have never seen a more sorry excuse for a restaurant as this. The owners claim they were doing us a favour by splitting the bill and apparently no where downtown splits the bill for over 6 people… yeah right.

The owners failed to own up to the mistakes made by their staff and made zero effort in rectifying them. If I could rate this place lower than a zero I would.

I would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. Get yourself a walk in pizza before you even consider this horrendous excuse of a restaurant an option.

Dropped in on a very hot summer day for a late lunch. Cold water was served as fast as the glasses could be filled when we sat at our cozy patio table then a full jug was left for us. We decided on our pizza and it was delicious. It's a six slice, thin crust experience for the taste buds. Just enough to share without being too full. Crust is crispy to perfection, cheese is melted and toppings were a perfect amount as to not fall off. Really good pizza. Our waitress, just amazing. Best pizza I've enjoyed in a long time.

Best pizza in a long time, not a weighty cheesey style, so flavourful, crust and dough thin and cooked to perfection. Pasta penne was cooked great, hint of garlic with my cream sauce.wow.was very surprised how amazing everything was.

The pizza was pretty good and it was nice to be able to sit outdoors! We came earlier than our reservation and we’re seated promptly regardless. I ordered a bottle of wine that was a little warmer than it should have been which wasn’t the best. The night we came was very busy and the staff were working incredibly hard, this didn’t go unnoticed! However, we waited a very long time to simply pay our bill (20+mins) and witnessed tables with other servers having more prompt service which was frustrating as we were more than ready to move on with our evening.

Pizza Rustica was just the jolt of flavor, comfort, authenticity, and satisfaction I needed today.

Goodness, do NOT come here. They pay for positive reviews, more on that below. I brought a date here tonight, and gosh was I embarrassed. Claggy pizza, drinks took 20 minutes to arrive (a beer and a glass of wine?) and stacks of dishes on the counter attracting dozens of flies. Worst of all? When I politely mentioned the issues, the waitress was so un-apologetic.
Go and check out the 5 star reviews on their page. Lots of new accounts with reviews all over the world posted on the same day. Definitely not legit. Unbelievable.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in my 10 years of living in Toronto.

Pizza was amazing. Crust was thin. Ample toppings for us. Asked for extra saucy and it was as saucy as i love pizza! Pierce refuses to eat crust but for this place he did. THUMBS UP! Place was clean, service was friendly and efficient, location GREAT for when i am in need for pizza or to be delivered.

The service was just awesome and friendly. Food was excellent. The manager made sure we were happy with everything. Well done! Will most definitely be back.

This place deserves nothing but negative stars. My friends and I ate at this establishment post Blue Jays game for a friend’s birthday. Upon arrival to our reservation, our table was not set up, dirty and the waiters looked lost and confused.

Once being seated, we were advised that the wait for food would be roughly an hour which we were okay with, however we did not realize that everything else would also be a lengthy wait. Our server failed to provide us with the most basic things for our table. We had to request for water on several occasions and it took about 30 minutes for our waiter to bring us a pitcher of water. It then took an additional 10 minutes to request for the waiter to provide us with cups to drink the water which is absolutely ridiculous. We also had to request for utensils, napkins and plates.

After the lengthy wait, we received our food. It was very poor quality for the price. The chicken was like rubber and tasted gross. A Delissio Pizza is much better for a fraction of the price. It is also important to mention that this restaurant has no AC and on a hot summer night was boiling. The restaurant also had multiple flies everywhere.

Towards the end of the evening when everyone was ready to pay their bills, the already terrible experience turned into an absolute **** show. The waiter messed up everybody's bills and then was trying to blame our group for the confusion. As a server, it is your responsibility to keep tabs on everyone's orders. If you have poor organizational skills that is on you not on your customers. It is important to note that at this time, the manager and/or owner of the establishment walked in and rather than rectify the situation only made it worse. I have never met someone so condescending and rude. If the waiter made a mistake and there was an issue.that's fine own up to your mistake and rectify the situation, rather than try put the blame on your customers. The owner then stated that they could not split bills for groups more than 6. This was not once mentioned to our group. It's funny that after our waiter split up all the bills and completely messed them up …. All of a sudden it wasn't unable to be done. It took over hour of going back and forth with the owner and waiter to pay our bills. Our group was also charged 18% gratuity for service that was worse than McDonalds (which says a lot). We were also charged a mystery debit fee and when asked.no one had an answer as to why it was on the bill. PLEASE SAVE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY AND TIME!

This place is open 24 hours, however, should be closed for 24+ to train their staff/management on customer service and quite frankly … on how to be a decent human being. Pizzarustica is a great place …. TO AVOID.

Wonderful pizza place close to Rogers Centre and CN tower. Great variety of choices and even some unexpected but tasteful meal options. Wonderful and kind staffmembers, quick and friendly service. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a good restaurant serving good quality italian food.

#dreadful. Stay away. Came here a few days ago after a Blue Jays game. The place was moderately busy but got a table right away. We waited for 10 plus minutes for someone to bring menus. The 2 waiters and maître d were running around the place like chickens with their heads cut off. Finally got the order placed after 20 minutes and took forever for the food to come out and the waiter to bring a few glasses of water to the table. You could see similar customers getting as frustrated as we were. The food finally arrived and it was horrible. 2 plates of over cooked and greasy pasta. Chef Boy R Dee is tastier. Asked for the bill and the aloof waiter took his time bringing it and the visa machine. All the while you could see him dissatisfied with the tips he was receiving and could hear him muttering under his breath. If he actually cared and provided good service and delivered well prepared food to the tables he might actually get tipped. Remember a tip means “to ensure prompt service. ” Those are warned not assumed buddy.

Really good pizza! I had two slices while getting my car washed across the street and they were totally worth it!

Went here for dinner and I had to go out of my way to get a hostess to seat us. The hostess asked if we would like to site inside or outside, so I said outside. Then she said she’s going to clean the table and get place settings ready. She walked away and went on about her work for 10 minutes or so, until I flagged her down again to ask if the table is ready (even though I know it wasn’t because she didn’t clean a single table), she started the whole greeting all over again as if she had never seen us before, let alone we were standing in the restaurant for the last 10 minutes. She was even about to go back to ignoring us, until I asked if she’s going to clean the table and only after that did she clean the table and have us sit down. The waiter came over shortly after that and we ordered our pizzas. We waited for about 40 minutes for the pizzas to be brought over, which is how long dominos takes to deliver to my house. My pizza was stone cold, even the plate was cold, my girlfriends pizza was warm/hot, and the plate was hot. Im Italian and make home made pizza in a wood oven, so I know that a pizza like the ones at Pizza Rustica should only take 3-5 minutes to prepare and cook. Not a good first impression.

Sat down for 30 minutes, had to sit myself down because the servers are too busy telling each other stories, never asked what I wanted to eat so just had to walk away, waste of time, also it's not open 24 hours like advertised so wasted my time the day before aswell

The service here was TERRIBLE!

They told us 1 hour wait for food prior to sitting down and the restaurant was dead with barely anyone there. The server (Fatima) was so poorly trained, took orders on her phone (unprofessional) and still managed to screw up half the tables orders. Didn't serve water till we got our food 1 hour later. Owner and manager is very rude and even worse than the server. I wouldn't recommend 0/5!

Food was average, service was efficient but impersonal, beer was served unchilled.

The crust was slightly different but in a good way. The pizza was super fresh and arrived in under an hour.

The pizza was delightful and cooked to perfection! Service was fast and friendly. A great place to eat.

This is my favorite pizza place now. Delicious and very fresh. The amount of the ingredients they put on the pizza is a lot. Staffs are very friendly and entertaining.definitely coming back here a lot. Highly recommend this place. Try their pizza, you won't regret it.

Food was fine, but the amount you get for what you pay is so bad. Basically the size of a personal pan pizza for 25+, apps were way overpriced, just disappointing amount for the cost you are paying

Pizza is delicious and there weekly deal and coupons are awesome as well as there customer service which is great.my kid favorite place for pizza!

Great food, fast friendly service. Great food. And they deliver. Very clean inside. Hope this place is here for a really long time.
