Edit: Didn't ask for a refund at the time, consider it sunk cost. Pizzaiolo asked me to email them about this review; I did and never got a response. Hilarious.
I give it a 2/5 because you're either getting a pizza you really enjoy or something that is poorly made and not worth the price tag.
As a pizza lover, I tend to order from different places on a regular basis. I've tried many times with this location, but I am likely officially done with it. It's much too inconsistent and we just threw out a whole pizza because the bacon was bad.
Smelled awful, tasted awful, and removing the bacon couldn't undo the damage. We don't think it was rotten, we assume the pig was butchered too late, which typically results in the odour/taste apparent.
It should have been noted by the person making the pizza because the smell is immediately obvious. Instead, we've had to waste this food and our money.
We are regular customers and this is the second time they’ve been extremely disorganized and they took an hour and 45 mins to deliver our pizza down the street. The first time they said they lost our order and this time they said they were busy. They didn’t offer to deduct anything from our order to compensate for their major delays. We won’t be ordering from this location again, they lost us as loyal customers.
Staff was rude and dismissive from the beginning. I called and explained that an aspect of my meal was completely burnt and I was unable to eat it— they told me to come back and pickup a new one and hung up the phone on me. I arrived after 20 minutes and they still made me wait for the meal to be prepared. If you want good reviews and customers to return, service standards and food standards should be up to par.
I ordered a pizza online and paid for double toppings, but unfortunately, my pizza did not come as I ordered. I called the location to address the issue, but I spoke with three different people who were unable to help me. Instead, they told me it was NOT their problem. The last person I spoke with was incredibly rude and even hung up on me. I am extremely disappointed with the poor customer service and have made the decision not to order from this location again.
Went here with friends and ordered myself "The Sonny". The workers were very polite and prepared our food in an extremely timely manner. The pizza was delicious, much better than any other chain pizza store I've been to. 10/10 would recommend
Unfortunate few experiences with this restaurant. Had ordered pizza online today and received a call over 30 minutes past the time of the order to inform me there was no vegan cheese available for our order. (10 mins before the arrival time). The delivery was 35 minutes past the time of order, on top of it. Last time I had ordered, it was late as well. Today, the pizza arrived very cold, and therefore not enjoyable. I usually don't leave negative feedback, but it really just sucks that our local can't hit the mark when our house is a fan of Pizzaiolo. Unfortunately, I think this was our last attempt. Best of luck to the restaurant, and hope that they are able to elevate their customer experience in the future. Two stars because we really do normally like the food.
I WILL NOT ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. Pizzas were over an hour late for delivery. Employee on the phone promised the pizzas would be free because of the delay. When the delivery driver arrived the employee lied and said he did not tell me it would be free.
Also note, that despite Pizzaiolo's comment below that someone would reach out to me to make it right, no one from the company contacted me
Ordered from here on Uber Eats. Uber Eats was behaving strangely, so I called to ensure they had my order. Gave them my address - they said the order was in, but that they were busy and it would take a while. Called 1 and a half hours later, and gave my name and address again. They assured me it was on it's way and would take about 7 minutes. Called a half hour later - they told me they had no record of my order.
The pizzas all taste good, I prefer the one with garlic spinach, and tomato called MAGGIE, it is so tasty.the price is quite reasonable as well.if you want to have a fresh one it is better to order instead of choosing between available slices.
I used to believe 'chain pizza stores are rubbish' but then my wife convinced me to try this place.
This place is special and they make the best (and clearly unique) vegan pizza in town:) The staff at this store are super nice and yes they are generous with their toppings - I learnt it the hard way, when I ordered a pizza with jalapeños: D
The vegan pizza with Yukon Gold potatoes in the pics:)
The pizza here is good. The only thing is I have to remind myself never to order onion. I love onions on my pizza but they OVERLOAD with onion at this location. Also, the onions are chopped in a fashion that it’s actually bigger than the other toppings. End up picking off the onion and throwing it away. Can almost guarantee half of a whole onion on 1 pizza. It’s a little off putting. If they were cut in thin slices like at other locations I would totally order that again.
Did an online customized order, wasnt followed and the pizza was very soggy. Sad as I've had good pizza from them before.: (Need to find a new pizza place now.
Really tasty pizza, $5 Inc tax for a quarter pizza, which is then cut into two slices for you. There are dippng sauces you can purchase or choose from a few of free sauces/extras, my favourite is the Parmesan cheese. I've never seen such a large range of pizza slices to choose from. They warm the slice up in the pizza oven after you order. You can of course order a full pizza if required. There is plenty of seating inside so you can eat your slice while it's still hot.
Fast and friendly and delicious! Lots of seating at the back, high chairs available, great option for a quick bite during lunch hour at the office! Tons of pizza options, from all veggies to meat lovers, mmm yum!
