I've always enjoyed the whole wheat pizza here and this is the only pizza joint I frequent.but since the last two times I've got a hard burnt crust on my pick-up special.
If I have to come all the way to pick up a burnt crust, I rather not.
I hope the quality is better next time.

I have been to this Pizzolio location a few times with my gf and have order a cpl pizza's from them. The pizza's were ok but real greasy. There customer service was good but they need to clean whole inside of the place. The fridge where you take the pop and dip out of is disgusting. Me and my gf decided to stop ordering pizza from them because of how un-clean the store is.

Ordered a vegetarian pizza (among other items). No modifications at all but when I received it, there was meat on top and under the cheese. I called to notify them and they said they would send another. 90 minutes later and nothing. I called back to ask for a refund and they referred me back to Uber Eats. The first incident I chalked up to a mistake. The second incident could have been chalked up to just being busy but both occurring on one order just showed me they didn't care. The second time I called I stated that I don't eat meat for religious reasons to impress upon them why they need to be more careful. The person I spoke to gave me the verbal equivalent of a shrug. First and last time I'll be ordering.

Edit: upon the response I emailed them. No response back at all. I support local but I'm not giving my hard earned cash to a business that doesn't respect customers. Twice the Deal Pizza on Upper Middle rd continues to make custom pizzas, and cares about their clients. I'm regretful I tried a different place. Even if they make a mistake, they rectify immediately. Highly recommend Twice the Deal school this location on food prep and customer service.

As regular Pizzaiolo customers we tried this location twice and both times it was horrible. The first time we asked for well done pizzas and one came with the dough so UNDERCOOKED that it was inedible and mushy in the middle while the second pizza was burnt.
On the second experience the same request was made and the pepperoni was not cooked. We attempted to communicate with the staff/manager and were sadly not responded to.

Last week, I have visited it. I appreciate their service. I noticed cleanliness, staff’s manners. I exactly got amazing pizza what I ordered in few minutes. I really advised you to visit.

Stopped here to pick up last minute dinner and so glad to have found this gem of a place. Amazing pizza and great service. Would definitely go back even though it's out of our way.

Ordered pizzas with Uber Eats, they were well prepared, toppings were fresh and juicy. Pickup was ready ontime with no delays. They forgot to provide garlic dip which I had ordered, I forgot to check too during delivery but refund was promptly provided. Children enjoyed the veggie pizza. Definitely recommend for vegetarians as they have quite a lot of veg pizza choices compared to any other pizza store. Bit pricey but worth it.

Delivery took over an hour and when it finally arrived it was cold. Go to a different store as the pizzas are great (when not late or cold)

The place felt very disorganized, food wasn't that great.very disappointed with the quality.
Arrived after the time it told me it would be ready when I ordered on-line. The girl CC working there asked twice for someone to make my Cesar salad and no one helped her. Then I watched her make my salad she took the romaine lettuce out of the packaging, didn't wash the lettuce just chopped it up into small pieces and put it in the container. The lettuce was wilting and did not seem very fresh.
Will not go back to this location. Might try the Hamilton location next time.

The best taste and quality pizza in the city. And the best part of it all the service. Highly reccomend give them a try.

Terrible customer experience. These franchise owners put the pizzaiolo brand to shame. This review has nothing to do with the product. On several occasions I have received my order (7 minutes away not during peak times) 30-60 minutes late. When I call, they lie and say 2 minutes. Unfortunately this location needs to change owners because even the manager treats customers poorly.

Akshay was trying to deliver some pizzas to us and we had only moved in yesterday to our new apartment in Burlington.
This gentleman waited almost a half an hour outside to make sure we got the order to our hands direct.

We were wondering where the food could be and called the restaurant.they told us he had been outside and as I rushed down to find him.he pulled up almost instantaneously. No word of a lie!

With some troubles with our new wifi and phones not being ON. (OUR FAULT!) The whole Pizzaiolo family was incredibly kind.generous and patient, which truly made out night.

Ps. I'm a Spinotta connessieur and I promise when I say the tomatoes are salty.but nice tho. There's enough spinach but not too much and finally a location who knows about ricotta!

The delivery drivers don't hand you the machine to tap your card til you tell them what to type in for tip amount. A bit aggressive. And another burnt pizza. Awesome!

I ordered a pizza for delivery at 5: 15. At 5: 40 it hadn't arrived so I called and was told it would be there in under 5 min. I called again at 6 and was connected to the driver who said she delivered it and described the front door which is nothing like mine. They refused to acknowledge they delivered it to the wrong house, I guess implying that I'm lying? The store said they would send me a new one but I would have to wait an hour. When I asked if they could not do it sooner and make it a priority the man on the phone began yelling at me. I told him not to bother with the replacement and just refund me. The worst service ever.

Edit: The owner called me and apologized profusely and has gone out of his way to make it right. I genuinely feel as though my complaint was heard and dealt with appropriately.

Really bad experience last night at the Pizzaiolo Fairview Burlington location. Other customers were having equally bad experiences. Ordered by phone. When I went to pick up my order, they said 4 more minutes. 20 minutes went by. No one acknowledged the delay. When I asked for my order, they said one pizza was ready but the other just went in the oven. I had to leave without my second pizza. The pizza I did take home was burnt. This is not the first time I have had issues at this location, but it was definitely the last time I will be going here. Super disappointed.

First time we ordered it was great, and thought it would be our new go to place. I was wrong. Last 2 pizzas were burnt and the last one was a soupy mess. Was told it was our fault because we ordered tomatoes and mushroom on the pizza (despite never being an issue anywhere else.) Was told on the phone that they knew it was soupy going out, but did nothing to change it. Said they could only get 50% a future pizza which leaves me with an inedible mess and a hungry family. Told the only way I could get a new pizza was if I came to get it myself.

Upon leaving was offered a free leftover pizza (questionable how old it was), and that way laying around, but that one was burnt as well.

Ordered a pizza that said it would arrive at 11: 39pm that never showed up.

I guess they didn’t feel like making a late night pizza

Terrible service. Burned our pizza, or can't get an order right instead of thin crust got regular crust. Not sure what happened to this location.

They put 2 different sauce on my pizza and pizza was not not cooked at all when I called them they said that's what you ordered and we can't make another one and you can't get your money back.
I was shocked.
We all ate that uncooked pizza and got stomachache.

Not the friendliest of staff working last night (Sat Aug 29). Pizza was just ok by Pizzaiolo standards. Asked for a little extra sauce but barely got any sauce at all which is the main reason we got to Pizzaiolo. It’s the little things that help a chain pizza spot stand out. Next time will likely visit a different one.

** Just a quick follow up on this. I reached out to Pizzaiolo customer service as they requested and provided a phone number. No response from them which is almost worse than them not even acknowledging my comments.

Just look at the photos, the pizzas are low quality, cheap on toppings, and usually under cooked or burnt. The manager/owner is super rude and unprofessional. Its sad when little Caesars has better pizza and they are known for low quality and cheap. Don't come here and waste your hard earned money for low quality at a ridiculous price, go to another pizza chain like little Caesars where the quality is better and thats not saying much.

First time eating here was mind blowing with the vegetarian pizza and the cheese pizza I know its plain cheese but it's pretty damn good go give it a try well recommended.

First tried this chain's pizza from the Oakville store. It was really good. I've tried it from this Burlington store twice, and both times it was disappointing. The first time it was underdone, the second it was overdone approaching burned a lot. Their salads are nice quality and good value though. They seem to be in too much of a rush.

First time ordering from here. One half of the bottom of the pizza was burnt to black. Ended up cutting the burnt sections off, very disappointed. Otherwise, the pizza tastes great. Can't give a 5 star.

A little bit disappointing. I got a pizza with vegan cheese and veggies. The pizza was OK but the vegan cheese was a weird consistency, very watery. I have had vegan cheese before and it was not like this. I am not sure if it was the vegan cheese that threw me off but I was definitely underwhelmed by this pizza and I have always liked Pizzaiolo.

Stay away from this location. I placed an order mid-day for a pizza and was quoted a time of 20 minutes. Since I was very close by, I decided to drop in after 9 minutes. My pizza was already ready and sitting on top of the oven. The owner informed me that the wrong size (larger) pizza was made in error but that I would only need to pay for the medium size which I ordered. After opening the box I was shocked. Clearly the guy had a pepperoni pizza which was sitting around for a while or made in error which he decided was good enough for me. He added the extra toppings and placed it back in the oven. The pizza looked charred but still only lukewarm. After confronting the guy about "reheating pizzas" I was informed that they do not do this. He eventually offered to remake my pizza for me after arguing. I waited at least 15 minutes for my new pizza which was clearly different in appearance and remained hot for some time. While waiting the guy making my pizza (owner?) took off his mask and let it hang. Shame on you Pizzaiolo for trying to pull these type of practices over on customers. Will never visit this location again or recommend it to others. Head office needs to hear about this.

UPDATE - I was requested to contact head office but have yet to receive a response from them.

A variety of good slices to go. Sicilian and Godfather are solid options with a tasty mix of toppings. $5 taxes in makes it a great economic choice as well

I've ordered from here a couple of times now and their pizza is the best I've had. They're consistently delivering great quality, generous with the toppings and every bite is an explosion of flavour. I highly recommend everyone to try Pizzaiolo.

This used to be on of my fav pizza places and we would order regularly from here. The last 2 times we have been super disappointed. The pizza was beyond burnt and just did not taste good / the same as normal. I would definitely agree that this location (on lakeshore) has been going down hill.

The pizza here is the best. It’s about $5 more than the regular Pizza Hut or Domino’s but to be honest the ingredients are fresher and the pizza is so much tastier than those brands. The people are very courteous and have a passion for the food they prepare. Enjoy!

Always loved the chain however just picked up two pizzas from online order - neither the thin crust or the deep dish was done right. They are both original!

Not what it used to be. Changed management and quality dropped. Overall it's just not as tasty.probably due to poorer quality ingredients and/or ingredients that are not fresh.dough was undercooked.felt slimy.pizza sauce felt old.

I spent 6 dollars and I was full for most of the day, but not feeling weighed down. Recommend the Godfather slice with a dash of salt on it.

Have been going to pizzaiolo in Burlington south for almost a year. Previous owners are gone. Current owners make real good pie. Good fresh toppings, cooked just right. Ich bin bis uber beide Ohren verliebt with this pizza! Yum yum

We have frequently ordered pizza from Pizzaiolo, and recently it seems to be going downhill. Our past two orders were light on toppings and under cooked. This is tolerable for I can easily pop it in the oven to cook; however this evening, I placed an order for two pizzas and both were burnt. We tried to grin and bear it, but the taste was simply not tolerable. I sent an email with photos expressing our disappointment. In addition, I called the store. The employee asked her manager what could be done. They suggested giving me a discount on my next order. At $48, this is simply not acceptable. I've asked them to take back their Pizza. They said they would send someone. Still waiting. We paid cash. Not impressed at all.
