Pizzeria Libretto - Ossington

Visited the Ossington Libretto on a Wednesday night and got seated right away (usually it’s extremely crowded). We ordered a Bruschetta, a Classic Margarita and an individual portion sized Tiramisu! The pizza is amazing and is very similar to Badiali’s Vodka Marg. Pizza. The portion size is really good esp.for Tiramisu!

I would have given 4 stars for this place, but staff is bit snappy here, me and my family and friends went in with thought to try new place, so we end up going to this Pizzeria, we were received well, ordered couple of Pizzas and those were good enough, but our other server came to ask about food, and suddenly snapped at my kids for playing around, while we were sitting in their Patio. I know kids can be difficult, but least server should know is to have polite attitude. Not blaming the owner or other staff, but if you have any issues with kids, do mention "place is not kids friendly", if not then please train you staff

Food was A+. However, took a really long time for pizza to arrive. Was not busy at all. Maybe the cook was on break?

Not your average Pizza place.
Just happened to stumble upon this place and it was a total delight. The restaurant has a nice character of downtown and serves great pizzas.

Thin crust pizzas done well and done right.
Recommended for casual dining and a nice setting dinner.

Awesome pizza, I love the tiramisu. Calamari is ok, the sauce not much to my liking but thats a matter of preference. On the expensive side but true gourmet italian pizza

Pizza was soggy & expensive.
Wine was mostly sold out.
Waitress was rude, unhelpful, rushing us and generally off putting.
Wouldn't recommend, taking it off our dinner list.

I stumbled upon this place after having some drinks down Ossington and I’m so glad I did!
The food was sensational! Full of flavour and decently priced. We ordered the eggplant veggie pizza, olives and arancini. The complimentary bread was even yummy!
The servers were attentive but they could have been friendlier, however I would still highly recommend this place!

Still the best pizza in the city. While other places have opened, this still stays true to authentic pizza napoletana. While the duck confit and pear is still popular (not sure why), the nduja sausage pizza is out of this world. The caramelized onion and sausage pizza is as well to die for, although I like the herb mix from when they first opened more than the one I recently had; bring back the tarragon chervil chive mix! Will return and return and return again.

Discovered the place through YouTube. Reviewer there was raving about the marinara. Tbh, the marinara at NY Pizza Suprema outside Madison Square Garden is still the best marinara. But, I like the subtle flavours of the Margherita. It has a thin but soft crust, which reminded me of a chapati. The Napolitano does not have cheese and it could be acquired taste for some because of the anchovies, but Libretto does it well. The pizzas we ordered were definitely improved by the chili oil. Before each meal, they serve you a small plate of bread with a side of olive oil with balsamic vinegar and pepperoncini. Eat that bread and ask the server where they get it. You will want to have more of it, I'm telling you.

Wow the service was super fast! It may have been a slower night. Our server was amazing as well! Couldn't have asked for a better service. Definitely recommend!

Best pizza in all of Toronto! If you’re a fan of authentic a VPN pizza, very thin with a soupy saucy middle - this is the place for you. It never disappoints!

It was honestly the best Italian food my boyfriend and I have ever had. So good. I recommend it to anyone looking for something new and a really good different.

My boyfriend and I were here last night for dinner and it was our first time visiting after the renovation. I personally like the new look a lot better than before. (brighter and for some reason, seemed more spacious.) I want to write a personal thank you note to "Chanelle" who served us last night. She provided an excellent service and was very delightful.

I've been here 3 times now. The consistency of the food is excellent. I've ordered the pizza which is outstanding. Very thin and light. Delicious toppings. The pasta is also good. The calamari is different, but very good. Definitely recommended. Good selection of wine to complement your beer. A small selection of craft beer is also available, which is a nice surprise. Overall if you are looking to have a different style of pizza Pizzeria Libretto hits the mark.
