This location is poorly maintained in comparison to its Burlington location. Lighting is awful!

I've found the team in this PF very pleasant and helpful. It's a good gym if you just want to get in work out and go. Cleanliness is huge for me, so it's good on that front. Well done to every Planet fitness team member and special shout out to Tatiana & Christia for always being exceptional.

Started working out after 284 days staff are super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean as always and has an amazing vibe. Keep it up and thank you.

It’s a good place for workout but most of the space is covered with cardio equipment which is mostly not in use. They should increase the number of other machines, for instance they just have one pec deck fly, and you rarely get a chance to use it.

Asked 6 months ago to cancel the membership, was sent the paperwork to hold the account, didn't realize that difference, thought I was canceling, and now have charges again. They won't refund these charges. Thieves. Horrible to do business with. Dishonest, don't let them at your bank account. Had to yet again try to cancel.
Again, they are thieves.

I did notice my favorite leg machine has been broken for about 3 moths.now there is a second machine down

Gym is just as garbage as it's customer service - btw, talking to them does not help, there just going to ignore you.

I was 255lbs and lost 75 pounds from using these machines and free weights plus dips and pull-ups. Then consistency and discipline. 182. Thanks for not breaking my budget!

Excellent gym for only $15 per month. Pleasing environment, good equipment, huge size, good lighting. Can’t beat this place for the money

My go-to gym! I liked the variety of equipment, everyone was friendly and so were the staff!

Watch out for ongoing charges after cancellation. While I was in person cancelling for the second time, another person came in asking to cancel. Claims he's had a year of charges after cancellation. Two people within minutes cancel AGAIN, after being charged unknowingly for a year.
Shame on this establishment, no wonder it's a cheap membership, they continue to charge ex members yearly. Legal scammers!

The staff are generally friendly and greet you at the reception. Equipments are plenty but a bit old. The areas are always clean.
I usually use the gym in early mornings or weekend afternoons. The parking lot needs repair, and I don't know if lighting is good at night. There is a pedestrian crosswalk from the parking lot to the gym entrance, but the painting is gone, and cars don't always stop or yield even when you are on the crosswalk.

Cancelled my membership a while back, tried to resign up, ended up not doing so, but they still charge me and is making me having a hard time to deal with this situation

Good equipments and the gym is kept clean and the staff does a good job. Some people using the gym have no consideration for others. They are hogging on to 2-3 sets of weights while others are waiting. People need to be respectful of others in the gym. Though can't expect any better in gta. Maybe staff can put up posters to highlight this issue.
I have seen better maintained equipment in other locations and in US, so have to settle with 3 stars for fairness.

This is so good, their staff is very humble and kind. Place is always clean nd yes its best gym as of their price, services, machines, very spacious and always u get machines to do workout. ️

Can't find a cleaner local gym.
Great staff, decent equipment.
Treadmills are a little tired.
Free weight section is a bit cramped, but you can always find the weights. (their staff should give LA Fitness a clinic)
Tsnnong beds are great, and included w Black Card membership.
The basic plan is a great add on if you already have a gym and just want a shorter commute.

Overall, I've cancelled my Good Life and LA Fitness memberships to hang here. #thisismygym

Their sign up and payment procedure is not the best, however their staff are very nice and they try their best to make our day better.

Friendly and helpful staff. The people seem friendly as well. Cardio machines are more popular. If I had any comments, it would be that there should be more benches for the dumbbells area.

Mohammad, Johnathan and Mikayla have provided me and my fellow members with great customer service and knowledge. Highly recommend the staff.

Clean, friendly staff and lots of equipment.

Loses one star for:

- No Scale: would be nice to check my weight before jumping on the treadmill (it asks for your weight).

- No bench-press, only 4 Smith machines: if you want to do any bench presses, you need a Smith machine. Since there's only 4, you'll need to share with people squatting, doing deadlifts etc. Could end up waiting a fair bit.

Love this location! I come late night/early morning. The staff is sweet and are always cleaning which I appreciate. The selection of machines is good and they have cleaner every few meters. Very spacious location. Sometimes there's not TP in every stall but it's not a problem since I come so late and there aren't many people there. I wish the showers were a little cleaner and that there were little hooks outside to hang your stuff, but thats about it. I drive from Brampton to come here as it's way better than any of their locations imho.

A standard gym with most things in place. Can do with Punching bags and crowd control at Closing Hours

Clean gym and a great environment to workout. Never had issues any issues and staff are always friendly.

Facility is sanitized on regular basis and plenty of hand sanitizer.with great costumer service

Staff are very nice, located in a mall with a grocery store, winners and LCBO, the gym is well kept and clean.

I've only just started going to this gym, this location but so far it's fantastic. It is always clean and the staff are amazing. I honestly can't say enough about them.everyone is so polite and helpful any time I've been there.

Super clean new machines amazing staff and so many designated areas to do different workouts. And it's so reasonable for the services provided. I would definitely recommend this gym.

The staff are super nice and welcome at this gym and if you can put a smile on their face, you essentially become their gym family, and the same goes with all the regulars at this gym just takes a bit of time to get to know them but people at this gym are always happy for a conversation. The workers take good care of cleaning and sanitizing this gym day shift or night shift and every time I swing on by the gym is always organized. I would totally recommend this gym for the newbie, vets and for guys or girls who just need a hand with working out. If you become a regular you'll have some great people to meet here️

My friend and I went to go workout last night when we met Ashanti (I believe this was her name)! She was so wonderful and kind to us. My friend, who was signing up for a membership, felt very welcome in the environment thanks to this employee. Most definitely made both of our experiences much better!

Just signed up, Very nice Gym, staff were super nice and knowledgeable, guided me through the whole process, their app gives very useful info from tracking your workouts to how busy the gym is in real time.absolutely an upgrade from my last gym

This gym is a decent facility for what you pay for.
Once they changed the hours from 24/7 to 24/4 in April 2019, it has been challenging to come in if your work schedule is 8-4 or 9-5 or if you've got children to tend to after work.

It was already busy to come between 8-10 pm weeknights, and I can only imagine how much more busier it will be now that the hours are shortened. May need to look at another gym.

Update Aug 3/2021: gym hours are back to 24/7 with 50% limit capacity. The app has Crowd Meter to show how busy the gym is to avoid crowding. Rating changed from 2* to 4*

2021 in a pandemic and they expect you to drive 100kms back to their location to sign a piece of paper or send a WRITTEN LETTER (not an email). Pathetic excuse for a company. Obviously just trying to make it hard to cancel. It's ok i'll put a stop payment and you guys will get the picture. I went to LA FITNESS btw. Much better

Gym is nice but it is terrible when it goes to customer service (Unable to cancel gym membership until now)

It is so easy for you to join the gym membership online, but so hard when you want to cancel planet fitness gym membership.

I am planning to leave Mississauga forever so I want to cancel my yearly gym membership before it charges me in november or december.

I tried to email Planet fitness to cancel my gym membership.
They replied and said in order to cancel gym membership, I would have to either go to the gym in person to fill a membership cancellation form or send a letter to the home club to request a cancellation.

So my only chance to cancel Planet fitness under covid-19 would be sending them a letter.

But since the gym club is closed due to covid-19, how are they suppose have employees to receive my letter and cancel gym membership for me before I leave Mississauga?

I don't want to get charged or sending an oversea letter by the time just to cancel my gym membership.

Is there any practical solutions for me to cancel my gym membership?

All I want is to cancel it before I leave Mississauga under covid-19, how hard is that?

Just wanted you guys to know, there are options, if you're starting to get restless waiting for them to open

This place is unethical. A day after they charged me with the yearly enrollment fee (without any warning email or anything), I requested to cancel my membership, as I was not going to return to Planet Fitness after it re-opened during the COVID pandemic. When I called for a refund they rudely refused, and the manager would not reason at all.

Weird policies. I dont know what they are doing. Just to cancel your membership you have to go their in person. They dont respond to emails. Third class gym. Try somewhere else.

The most annoying people you could possibly find go to this gym, most essential machines for weightlifting are about enough compared to the people who go to the gym so you will always need to wait, the floor is clean occasionally I do not know how they are still open until now

Worst management, worst workers and worst customer service, no one there is helpful, this gym is open to steel your money. Den of theives. Stay away from them. This is my advice to any customer is thinking of getting a membership.

Not a big fan of Planet Fitness’ policies in general, but if you don’t mind them its a decent place to get a good workout

I came into Planet Fitness in October 2019 to cancel my membership and they still proceeded to charge me to this date. Employees need to be trained better at cancelling memberships.

They have being having problems with the hot water in the men washroom for so long now. It doesn't seem like it is a priority to get fixed and it sucks!

Thank it was fixed recently even though it took a while.

Open at all hours. Really clean facility with very friendly staff. Good pump. Could probably use more freeweights.

The staff are friendly and always keeping the gym clean. Minus Monday's, you can get a machine you need without a wait. Lots of equipment to maximize your workout

Everytime I ask the staff members a question they can't provide me with any help. I even reported that certain machines werent working and they didnt bother to check. They have been not working for months since I asked. Simple questions like having captions put on the TV so we can all see are excused by "I don't know " sorry that's just terrible customer service. Thanks but no thanks.

Someone broke the lock and stole stuff from my locker. I informed the staff about the incident, and followed up after two-three days, but was told that there is no update. The management didn't even bother to check the security footage to prevent such incidents in the future. I had been using this facility since 2017, and it used to be a clean and safe place, not anymore. I cancelled my membership yesterday.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with Jeffery @ the WestDale mall location & let me say he is a great guy & very helpful.

Can someone please inform your members what is happening with
A) are your facilities closed?
B) membership payments during this time?

I would not hate on this gym or the staff or equipment everything is very nice. The thing that does it for me is that it does not cost much to workout here which means it is really packed. I went twice as a guest and it's always packed and looks like a bunch of people shoved into one room. I would just like to know how often the machines get sanitized as I would think someone should always be on the floor sanitizing the machines. Other than that it's a great buy for your buck.

This place is great. There are plenty if treadmills, ellipticals etc. For a solid cardio workout. The various machines they have are new and in good condition. It really is a welcoming place where everyone is at different levels of fitness. The environment is a 'no judgement' zone. The locker rooms and facilities are always clean. Everyone respects each other and the facilities which is really nice and helps keep the place nice.

It's back to being 24/7 and the employees have done a much better job keeping the place clean and paper towel stations stocked.

With regards to the gym, it's ok. Lots of cardio and weight machines. It lacks in the free weight department but seeing as the base membership is $10 can't really expect everything. The staff does a good job cleaning. Id give it a B+

Edit: WIFI is solid and doesn't go down. I don't have any major complaints, especially for the money. Well done.

An excellent gym with varied training equipments and helpful staff. No shortage of equipment throughout the day and the place is always kept clean. I love it.

I was travelling for work and tried cancelling my month-to-month membership over the phone or via email - but they insist you come in in person or mail a letter. Once I did send in the letter (sent at the end of July), I was still charged the annual fee at the beginning of August for the upcoming year - even though I had cancelled and would not be using the gym for the upcoming year for which I was charged. The manager refused to issue a refund. Terrible customer service.

Scammer alert. I knew the so-called gym membership scam but this is something new. They literally took my cancellation letter but only freeze the membership for a year so the payment could stop. They restarted to charge me after a year and said the letter is lost. OK, then I found the copy of the letter and emailed it to the manager who then never takes phone calls or replies me. There was an assistant manager but she simply couldn't make any decision and just promised to info the manager.

The staff is very rude and not welcoming at all. I was working out today not knowing they changed their hours and was on my last set and was told that they've closed and I politely asked if I can just finish up my last set and the answer I got was "no you have to leave now" the attitude was just very rude. Probably going to cancel my membership!

This is a good gym located in the Lawrence Square and it's hours are ideal. It's 24/7 so if you like to work out or go through your exercise program you can do so at any given time during the day or night. Also to the rates for membership are very very appealing and it's cheap. But definitely recommended for people on a budget.
