For the price, this gym can’t be beat.

This specific location at Kennedy and Steeles is clean and well maintained and tons of equipment.

Multiple locations are accessible with the black card across Canada and the US (typically go to the Clearwater location in Florida for 3 months of the year)

Tanning, massage chairs and red light therapy machines are all huge bonuses with a super affordable membership to go along with it.

Also, not to mention, no big egos or dudes full of themselves when comparing to the GoodLife location at Yonge & 407 or the LA Fitness at Kennedy & 401 which is a huge pet peeve of mine.

If you’re on the fence about getting a membership, look no further and purchase it!

Hugh gym space high ceiling many machines, different rooms with specifuc machines for training in different body parts. Only 15.00 + Tax monthly with unlimited entry 24 hours.

No pride over here no one wipes down anything. Guys pee everywhere. Stand up disgusting. I have seen cleaner pot a potties in a rock concert staff don't care not even a sorry about how dirty it was not even I will take care of it no care at all this staff needs to be removed. How can menber care if staff doesn't. Health board should shut this place down

Worst place ever, always crowded, annoying! Many run devices, bicycles but few space and instruments for the real bodybuilding exercises!

The owners only care for money! Bringing more people to this place inspite of the TOO MANY PEOPLE every time I come to do my workout!

Better during the day. During a busy night shift the two yutes working here were both ‘cleaning’ the same back room while customers were waiting. Bull excuses, they purposefully make sure you can’t cancel your account or even switching home gyms. They look like they’re just there for their friends

Overall experience is OK. But customer service is definitely below U. S.standards. The gym can get busy. The cable machines and extensions are in need of repair, adjustment, and/or alignment. The smith machines are almost always occupied and some users tend to spend more time chatting or taking selfies or videos while others are lining up to use the machines. The water fountain needs repair. The bathroom & change areas need more regular attention. No paper towels are provided in bathrooms.

Nice gym but way too many closer days. FOUR days in a row they are closed! I’ve been going to gyms for over 15 years and never heard or seen a gym close four days in a row.
Again, Last month closed early because of taking photos, yesterday closed because of snow, supposed to be open today but guess what closed again! Closed tomorrow for Xmas day which I respect.but then again Closed for Boxing Day. Two months ago closed for switching stuff. I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time but this is just too much! Literally every single gym in Markham & Scarborough is & was open except this location! Owners should have a discussion with management to stop closing this location so much. Yesterday I went in & notice so many disappointed people come in and see the doors are locked. Not a single email or any type of alert about these closures!

I went into sign up for a new gym membership as I had a bad experience in GoodLife Fitness before. I has greeted by Johnathan who helped me get a membership he was extremely professional and very helpful. He's the best!

The new cardio machines are fire ️, it's been a year since I joined this gym, no regrets!

Instead of greeting a smile or just do their business, most of the employee in the morning shift are rude and talking behind a costumers back that you can hear them disrespect you when you leave the gym for a misunderstanding reason, specially the one who works out after his shift ends.so far the only professional and welcoming to the customer on that shift is that lady (mature) and the trainer, night shift as well are more welcoming and friendly. I have to cancel my member ship because of that person making me feel unwelcome, making that psssttt sound every time he walks by like his the boss with a bad ego. I'm just there to do my work out and do my business, not to get disrespected and be judge.the machines are alright, the washroom are smelly, it gets really busy in the evening so far its ok there.but I'm not gonna open a membership again specially on that location.due to unprofessionalism.

While putting membership on hold you need to go there you can't do it over phone or online

Very affordable, good quality equipment, gym is clean 24/7. Only wish they had a hack squat and t-bar row

Gym of high school kids. Regular people have no chance of getting anything available for working out. Management can't do anything about it, So look somewhere else

The gym itself is satisfactory. The staff like to chat amongst themselves and I see them cleaning the equipment and change rooms often. They are prioritizing cleanliness unlike other guests coming in. The crowd meter on the app is a great function to let people know if will be experiencing some wait for machines you are expecting to use.

Wish they would have more parking area for bikes. Seems like it is filled every time I visit and I end up chaining my bike to the fence of the construction.

Ventilation could be looked to be improved as well

Reasonable experience for the price. Good value for someone new to the gym. Don't expect people to wear masks, there are a few who still keep them on, whom I respect, but the vast majority avoid it. Most "clients" don't even clean their machines after using them, their time is too valuable, so this is something to look out for. Staff is however friendly and cleaning supplies are always stocked and available for gym-goers.

Best thing with this gym is the affordable price. Machines are good. Ventilation is not good. It always smells bad.

Good enough open 24, /7 variety of equipment haven't tried any classes not too expensive massage chairs are a plus

Disappointed. Upon signing up, I had shown proof of vaccination, both, 1st and 2nd shot. Why have you trained people to look at proof of vaccination after signing up? Like, what has changed? Have I removed the second shot and only have 1 shot now? Or have I somehow vomited both shots and have no more covid shots in my body? Stupid training which makes no logical sense. In short, do not ask me to show you proof of vaccination if I have ALREADY SHOWN YOU THE PROOF WHILE SIGNING UP.please hire better managers, supervisors or management staff to make customer service SMART.

Horrible service! I moved elsewhere and missed cancelling my membership. They charged me during the time when the gym weren't opened in Ontario. I called the manager he said he cannot do anything about it. You are suppose to charge me an annual fee I were to use your for the entire year, not if I haven't used it for a single day in 2022. Very dishonest and disappointing customer service!

Friendly atmosphere, tons of equipment, so no need to wait for something to be free. Lots of hand sanitizer and cleaning solutions all over.

Good gym. A bit busy during peak hours. I'm glad they enforce vaccine certificates to workout so I feel more safe while losers like Drew S.won't be able to workout at the gym.

Became a member and the atmosphere was all right in the beginning but then things just took a turn for the worst and the environment was no longer enjoyable. I now feel that you have to be already fit to be in this gym

Great gym and friendly staff. The only downside is that there are only assisted benches and squat racks.

Donny on the check-in/service counter is awesome with balancing new inquiries, members checking in, and purchases being made all at once. Never flustered, never frustrated, and although masked, it was all done with a smile.

This is a good gym for the price. Lots of cardio machines but unfortunately not a good selection of weight machines. Cant wait for them to open back up so I can go back.

I seriously love working out and being a member at this gym helped me love myself once again. I hope gyms open up soon and I try to become a healthy person.

My annually fee is suppose to be March and I got charged another annually fee last month. Another fee for cancelation. I'm not happy at all with planet fitness and the amount of fee being charged within not even a year.

They charge you directly without notification through email or sms. The charged annual fee and the gyms now closed. I asked for refund they couldnt give me. The gym was closed for more than 4 months, but i had to pay full annual fees. Even now when they are closed i have already been charged for the full year. Please check and be alert. These guys can charge any amount and anytime without notifying you. I vow to never go there. There are better places for the same price.

I spoke to the staff there, no on was able to help me. The response was really poor from the staff, they did not apologize neither made any effort to help me in anyway. They just went ahead cancelled my membership without refunding me a penny. Worst customer service. It nt so when we are new members, but they seem not to care at all for older members.

I dont wont to complain about the gym or the equipments, but im not happy with the morning staff specifically the two Chinese guys who working there, really irritates me, always seeing them laughing and joking, looks like they get paid for that.

A lot of people walking around with no masks as well as not wiping down the equipment after use. I am aware that you can't watch every single person in there but something must be done. Please reinforce this policy so that everyone can stay safe! I want to have a peace of mind after exiting the club.

I visit in the AM and that's when I witnessed it. I shouldn't feel like I have to go and "tell on people" for action to be taken.

Is a good place to workout staff members very friendly always greet the gym members and have a smile on their face except of one or two. Environment is very good the staff members do their duties very well. The only thing i do not like is closing soon on weekends and not opening for 24 hours. Hope so it opens for 24/7 soon.

These guys are worst people they are charging some kind of service fee.they closed because of covid they didn't notify when they open and start charging accounts. The customer care girl was so rude and don't want to explain any thing. 0 rating for customer service.

Very nice location havent been here in a while but cant wait to go back there is construction on steeles so sometimes hard to get in and out when coming on steeles other than that nice

This gym has great variety of equipments also very cheap membership options compared to known and popular money making and insanely priced gyms. Has their own message center including in your membership.

Just bought a membership. Very good price compared to the other competitors. This location need's more staff. Two people working is not enough to keep a gym full of sweaty adults clean. Masks and gloves should also be required at all times.

Cool and colorful. Friendly staff and has a vast array of diverse workout equipment. Not too busy during work hours, but can be packed at times.

Excellent gym. Membership fee is excellent. It have a lot of work out machine and dumbbell. A lot of cardiovascular machine.

Great place, very open and good equipment too. People coming there are very helpful as well. Overall a very good gym and its 24hrs so workout when u feel like.

On a good day, it's a 5 min walk from my house and on a bad day, it's a 10 min trek through snow or rain LOL. It's quite clean (except sometimes the showers), I LOVE "FIRST MONDAY OF THE MONTH" free pizza, multiple apparatus and machines and even the "staff spots a PF sticker at rear of car to win free beats" frequent contest. I just wish towels, shampoo, condition and body wash were provided, WITHOUT increasing the price, but the hair dryer is great! =3

I went there for about a year or so when I was working close by. The gym portion is fine, they have enough equipment and the gym never gets that busy. The staff isn't exactly the most pleasant but I would also use the gym mostly in the early mornings so that may have been part of it. Several times I would let the individual working the front desk about the uncleanliness of the bathrooms, such as moldy shower curtains and hair balls all over the floor and nobody seemed to care. Overall is ok but it is very cheap so it is to be expected.

Very lively inside. It's been great working out at this gym with all the access that i could have, using my black card. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Decent gym with pkenty of equipment. It's not all well maintained though. They've had a couple leg machines down for maintenance for months when really it should take one day. A lot of heart rate sensors in the cardio equipment doesn't work well either. In spite of this it offers good value so even though it's not perfect it's the trade off you get.

This gym is always overcrowded and it's pretty much impossible to get a locker. And if you're lucky enough to get one, make sure you don't leave your valuables in it because there's a good chance they will get stolen.

I've also heard of incidents where car keys were stolen from lockers resulting in those cars being stolen. The staff doesn't care either. They allow people to just walk in to the gym, even if they're not a member.

The only pro for this gym is the $10/month membership.

This is an excellent gym and I love going there.
My only suggestion if not main annoyance is the fact that people find that they can’t separate themselves from their cell phones for an hour and choose to text and web surf or watch movies while occupying a machine for long periods of time
I find this a detriment as do many other members whom want get their workout done and go home.
These people are the biggest “Lunks” In my opinion and should have the shame alarm go off on them.
I believe that this type of behaviour promotes a worst attitude then someone grunting while working out.
Why celebrate selfish laziness?
They should go watch movies or have their prolonged text conversations at home on the couch and let the people who want to improve their health workout.

Two years ago. I went in to chlose the account and signed it. But two years later, i was still deducting money. So i went in to find the clerk again and was told that account had not been closed. Thet could not return the money. And then i asked to see the camera, but i was rejected.very nice job to them all.

I went when I was a month away from being 15, and they said i had to wait until my birthday, when i went again, they told me that i had to be 16. WTF. Be more clear about the ages

We have been going to this location every other day for a month now, We like the location and the gym is big enough and have all the equipment's.
We are giving 1 Star for the employees and their service. They have ZERO knowledge on customer service, not interested in helping or answering Customers questions. Please kindly re check the attitude, of your staff and their Customer Service Skills. It's really bothers all of our mood when we come to work out.
Hope to see some changes!

Plenty of cardio and weight lifting machines. Small free weight section that can get crowded during peak times. Friendly and hard working staff. There's always someone walking around around cleaning or interacting with patrons. Change rooms and shower facilities very clean but no sauna. Cheap membership but best value compared to nearby gyms.

I have been working out there for about 2 months now, it has a lot or cardio machines but very little for heavy weights without being in the cage, (since I like to squat with free weights). Also the women washroom seems that is never ever cleaned, it stinks, I always have to hold my breath to go inside, the first time I go to a gym and the washroom is that dirty, also I would like to have cardio classes like spinning. Thanks I speak better in Spanish

I can't believe that we got the worst experience of the gym in my life.my girl friend want to let me join the gym and she took me to the gym.
It was busy when we came, she tried to wait in line to get a guestpass for me. The front desk employee yelp at my girlfriend and said: " SCAN BY YOURSELF! OMG SO STUPID! " The lady didn't even know what we need to ask for help.
Now we decide to choose another gym and never go the stupid place ever.thanks for your help, Patricia!

This location is fairly busy the one I go to. But it does have its quiet times it is also pretty clean and great customer service

Decent gym but too many people messing around. I get the no judgement thing but I am going to drop the truth bomb here: a lot of people in here are newbies and they have no clue what they are doing.

I am willing to bet a lot of them won't show up ever again because they hurt themselves from having terrible form. People are getting injured here but no one gives a damn because no one wants to be that person who walks around judging people.

I went here on a buddy pass. It's a nice space. On many of their equipment it says " no critics" which helps change one's perspective and free themselves to fully embrace where they are at and do something to meet the challenges healthy and fitness wise. The practice of wiping machines after each use is tedious but necessary. I will bring my own cloth gloves next time. Great place to do workout and the membership is reasonable

Most staff are nice but a few employees with a lot of attitude. Men's change room is pretty dirty and should be cleaned for frequently. Two stars because it gets the bare minimum job done for a workout

It's not the gym's fault, but this place stinks. I travel full-time and being in a different hotel almost every night for three weeks a month, i have five different gym memberships and visit many different locations regularly. I have never been in a gym anywhere in North America (i live in Vegas, but spend a third of my year in Canada) where it seems no one knows what deodorant is (i also worked full-time as a Fitness Manager at the gym back home for a little while). I know it's freezing and snowing outside, but you get hot in the gym. The stench of everyone around me made me cut my workout short. I'll finish it at the Goodlife that's closer to my hotel. I only chose Planet today because i wanted to tan.

Reason for my four stars. The tanning bed. I've never been to this location. I've been tanning indoors for nine years and prefer the lay downs. It's only been in Canada where i've seen signs saying to clean bed after use. I don't know if up here, the gym relies solely on members to clean up after their sweaty lotioned up bodies, but that's something you can't guarantee. This room actually didn't have signs asking members to clean after themselves. I usually use a tanning salon back home, where staff thoroughly cleans each bed after every use. When i do use the beds at Planet Fitness at home, the beds are always clean. Always the case in other Canadian locations i've been to as well. The bed i was assigned here, was absolutely disgusting. I've never had to scrub a bed down as much as i did before getting into it. The mess was caked on like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Absolutely disgusting. I cleaned it the best i could with the non exorbitant paper towels the room had before and after use.

Yes. I pay only 30 something USD for this membership while i pay 70 USD for my tanning salon membership. While i get the whole, "you get what you pay for" thing, you guys really need to keep up with this a little better.
