Platform Espresso Bar

One of my favorite brunch places in Markham. A tiny cozy place. Service is always super wonderful. Food is handcrafted to perfection. Every coffee is like a work of art. Literally. Simply fantastic. Highly recommend their sweet waffles and torched salmon. My favorite items to get.

Very friendly staff and high quality food. You don't find many diners that cook the food this well! Fresh oil, fresh ingridients, definitely worth the price.

Come to this cute brunch spot. Food is perfect. Coffee is even better. Customer service is on point. Get the ginger latte. A must must try. Update: not the same as it was couple years ago. Drinks still good.

Cool vibes and yummy food. I wish there was more seating area. In my opinion very comparable to alchemy which is nearby and also very busy.

Went for brunch and the portions were quite large for a very fair price. Paid an extra $2 for the potato curls which were piled high on my plate as a side. The avocado toast was definitely worth it, the bread was thick and airy and the truffle oil was nice and fragrant. Tried the espresso cola which I can see is an acquired taste but was so refreshing as the espresso cuts through the sweetness of the cola. Very high in caffeine which the server did warn me about but was so good! Grabbed a “Sunshine” to go and it was perfect for the drive in hot summer weather. Would definitely recommend as a 2-3 person brunch spot as it is a smaller cafe spot.

Decent service. Drinks are a highlight This used to be a weekend regular, but food isn't what it used to be - bacon is overly salty and it's much more greasy than before. Clean and bright.

Hidden gem! Staff are super friendly, menu items are unique, creative and tasty, and portions are big.the train theme and decor were also super cute definitely coming back

After reading the reviews, I ordered two main dishes and two drinks, and they all tasted great

I always want to go for breakfast there, but a few times were lineup. I finally tried it. The day we went the espresso machine was broken. The staffs told us ahead of time that there would not be expresso nor latte available before we were seated. We were looking forward to trying the blue rose as they looked pretty on the review. We had avocado toast with eggs and regular bacon with egg breakfast, regular coffee. We were asked the kind of eggs we wanted, but they came out fully cooked. My friend didn’t eat the fully cooked egg, We found the toasts were too buttery. We also didn’t finish the toasts. The price of breakfast was decent, but I found the regular coffee was overpriced with no refill. The décor was nice, bright, and clean. The staffs are very friendly and polite. The day we visited the parking lot was not full, a lot time I came it was hard to get a parking. I do recommend this café but if someone has some eating concerns like me, it is good to remind the server about it

First time coming here for some brunch, I gotta say this place it’s not bad as I thought it would be, pretty clean, classic, and decently priced.

Have a lot of choices of coffee and drinks, decent size of the portions that will fill you up no problem.

Alright service for a Saturday and Sunday time.

Overall the experience it’s good with good vibe

Nice little cafe to have brunch. The waitress (I assume the owner) was so nice! The food was good but the cream udon was *chefs kiss* it was creamy, a little bitter and fresh from the arugula, salty and earthy from the mushrooms / bacon and the noodles were chewy and bouncy! It was so good!

The down side is this place is not for studying/ working for long time since they have a seating limit of 1h and 30 mins.

Everything is drowned in butter! They asked me how I wanted my eggs, I said over medium…. But they overcooked the eggs. My toast was soaked in butter …biting into it resulted in a mouthful of oil

Great price, great service, clean environment. The food was delicious and their ginger lemon tea was soothing.

Cozy establishment with wonderful food and drinks! Where my family were seated was a little bit cramped, but we loved the atmosphere and the presentation of the food! I'm a slow eater and I really take my sweet time with my food and drinks.but the staff there were super nice and did not rush me with the bill. Will come back with friends another time!

Really enjoy this place. We've been here a few times. Coffee and drinks are excellent.
We went for breakfast and ordered the avocado toast with scrambled eggs which we added sauted mushrooms to, the bread is thick and nicely toasted and buttered, and its served with a large side salad. So good. We also had the smoked salmon dish that also comes on thick cut buttered toast and a Wasabi mayo.
Great experience, wonderful staff, cute place and great food.

The location is small
It’s a great place for a person to have a snack and kill some time on a weekday afternoon.sunrise sandwich: The portion is huge, the waffles are great dipped in syrup, and the eggs are like egg Benny.torched salmon: The bread below is toasted with butter and is crispy. It is paired with warm salmon and mustard-flavored mayonnaise. It tastes very good.latte: I ordered the roasting degree recommended by the clerk. The heat of the milk foam was moderate and the milk foam was very dense. I could drink the quality of the coffee and the sweetness of the milk.

Purple Sweet Potato Latte: It really has purple sweet potato in it, so it’s not overly sweet.great! I order this when I don’t want coffee.

BAD customer service. There were only 2 tables full in the restaurant. We waited 10mins to be seated and another long wait for the food to arrive. The waitress dropped off the food and never came back to speak to us again. Food quality was good though the tea latte tasted gritty on the bottom. Had to walk up to the front of the restaurant to request for the bill. Met and assisted by a guy who just came out from the kitchen while the 3 other staff were busy chit chatting. Total lunch bill was $63 for 2. I would not have minded paying this price because the food was good but due to the poor service will definitely will not come back.

Espresso was good, took awhile for food but it tastes good and fresh. Could use a little seasoning on my eggs but very enjoyable experience

I didn't realize avocado toast could taste this good. The eggs were perfect.the bread was magical.and it was just a chef's kiss of perfection. We used to come here specifically for their drinks. This was the first time we tried the food, and now we know where we wanna grab our breakfast from now on.
