I discovered this shop by researching the many computer repair shops in the area and was intrigued at the many good reviews. So I took my aged computer there for repair. All I can say as I find myself at the other end of the experience, with a resurrected computer that works so much better than it has in years, is that those rave reviews are more than deserved. This tiny shop has a lot of heart, wonderful customer and technical service. So I am adding my very positive experience to the rest, with heartfelt thanks to Sam.

Had power issue with my laptop, platinum pc had it working only to find out the one key on my keyboard is not working, I went back but unfortunately they've couldn't fix it because they claim that it's not their fault. So thank you platinum pc I appreciate how you've treated us today. I hope you'll be extra careful with your other customers cause they deserve it.

Awful, would not recommend tried to negotiate the price to change since it was a simple fix. Just received attitude in return. Took my 2 laptops back. The same day I went to someone else to get an estimate it was less than half price. And he insisted “try and find a better price than me. ” This place also leaves your laptops on an open shelf that strangers can access in the store. And the store door is wide open. And the guy is doing repairs in the back. Unless you have insurance on your laptops I wouldn’t drop them off here. Someone could walk away with them. I took my MacBook back, imagine someone walks away with a 2k laptop.

Update: received a nasty call back from the owner after leaving this review. As if being honest is wrong.

Excellent service! Two weeks ago I spilled tea on my Acer lap top and the gentleman at this store was able to fix my problem. He cleaned it all up and installed a brand new keyboard. I was happy with my experience and would recommend this store should you ever have a tech problem.
