Players Cards and Collectibles

I have been coming to this spot for magic cards since before it was Players. The owners are helpful and accommodating when I’ve shown up 10 minutes before close on a release day. I visit once a season

I had been modifying my Chatterfang deck to be as squirrely as possible, and Players had a few cards on hand that I needed for that and another deck, so I placed a small order.

The order was processed quickly, but when picking it up, I got the feeling of being rushed back out the door (no other customers present). To the point the clerk came around the counter seemingly blocking me from entering further and browse for anything else.

Getting home later that day, I find 1/3 of the order was NOT in Near Mint as ordered, but having significant wear on multiple edges. Also, one card was the WRONG printing! Can't go back now as I'd likely be accused of switching out the cards.

All I can say is: "Waste their time a bit to review your order before leaving"

Great employees always willing to help and chitchat about Pokemon whenever I pass by! Whenever new sets come out or in need of a certain card I'm there to support their business.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at players cards and collectibles. The employees Nolan and Felipe are great and knowledgeable in their respective areas. I would recommend the store to people getting into Pokémon, YuGiOh, MTG, Digimon or looking for a weekly tournament location for those games.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Haven't had any trouble whenever I come to the store. Highly recommend anyone getting into yugioh, magic or digimon to check this place out.

Great store! Variety of trading cards from Hockey to Pokémon to UFC. Lots of Funko Pops as well.

Since new ownership a couple of years ago this place has gone downhill. Very uncomfortable shopping experience and won’t take returns on sealed items. Also incredibly over priced on all singles.

Don't know why it took me so long to put the 5 stars. These guys have been understanding, informative and patient with me.

Came in planning to spend $500+ to start a cube. I was told the books are off limits because of covid. You have to ask them for what you want and they will tell you the prices. There prices are comparable or worse then ebay. I wanted to support local stores But this was a waste of my time. Will never support stores again if you can't go in and actually look

Kid helping me and my son at the counter was nice. The owner was very difficult. Made sure to tell us there was a limit on how much of his time we could waste and they could only sell my son 10 cards because they can't have employees working to look for them? There was only one other customer in the store and three employees watching tv. Other than the kid being nice helping us it was a horrible shop. Save yourself some trouble and check out a different card store

My go-to TCG shop, Always a great experience. The staff and owner have always been helpful, kind and efficient. I'm always looking for specific single cards and they have an awesome selection.

Store is great, have had friendly interactions there but there is one staff member named Nolan who has taken it upon themselves to harass a customer on social media and then post me publicly on their social media because I blocked them. Staff does not need to go out of their way to give “advice” to customers on social media. You can give advice in store, but the moment you then take it outside work and bother me on numerous social medias because I blocked you as well, you lose customers.

Went in with cards I didn’t think were worth much but the way me and my partner were dismissed made us feel like we not only wasted our time but also theirs. The group of guys didn’t seem like they had the time of day for us at all and I am rather upset and annoyed at the way they treated us

Stores nice and organized. They have a good selection of packed and single cards in every category (pokemon, magic, yugioh and all sports). Workers seem friendly and knowledgeable. Prices there are more on the expensive side compared to the area but not outrageous.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Seem to be genuine collectors as well. Not just out for a quick buck or two.

I walked into the store with my Children to buy Pokemon cards possibly trade but we felt like we were doing something wrong simply by being in the store and asking questions. I'd like to think that it's covid that maybe has damaged their customer service spirit but I'm not so sure. Some people just dont like to help.

I went in to get a few cards I had been looking for. Guy working the Magic part of the store was polite and quick with getting my order and letting me look around the store. Overall, a great experience.

This place is the real deal, they are clean and organized and so far have impressed me every single time that I have walked in.
I'm sure all employees are awesome but so far have only dealt with Nolan and he had me setup with everything I needed and answered any questions I had, I would recommend anyone who wants professional service/quality from a place that takes what they do seriously to check out the website and see whats new/in stock and stop into Players Cards and Collectibles for your Cards/Collectibles/Protection Supplies

Me n my wife went there today for my son's 10th Birthday coming up & (ALL HE WANTS IS POKEMON) it was first
Time being there they ppl working there were AMAZINGLY HELPFUL with figuring out witch would be the best box sets to buy. " Cuz we all know HOW $$$ POKEMON CARDS can be.and all my son does is trade not play th actual game unless it NDS LOL. I'll definitely be back here to buy more & almost forgot they gave us a couple free pokemon add ons witch was A BIG BONUS FOR MY SON, THANKS GUYS

This store is dead to me. I went in with a list of singles I was hoping to buy and the clerk mentions to me that they can only sell singles that are currently in the display case. As for the ones in the binders, I would have to order them from their website. Even though I'm in the physical store, and the binders are right behind you, you're still redirecting me to your online store? Okay, fine. I'll go online and go to Face to Face Games and order my cards from there. I've shopping at this store before it was known as Players (2009, before Alara Reborn to be exact). I probably won't be coming back to this store again.

I have been here a couple times and this is not a hobby shop, it's just a bunch of guys flipping products that they over price. The worst customer service!

Prices are great, staff is knowledgeable. I met the owner as I came in and he was very friendly. As someone getting back into a game I appreciated a staff taking time to guide me what to buy. Will absolutely be back

Great shop, been coming in here since the summer for all my yugioh collection needs. Always have the latest products are good prices. Staff is great and owner makes you feel welcome right when you walk in the door.

When I say this is the best place in London, that’s an understatement. I love walking in Players, it’s absolutely incredible and a no brainer to go get any cards and collectibles!

This is easily the cleanest and most professional card store you will ever come across. I travel alot and always hit card stores along the way, so that's saying something. They stock a wide variety of cards from hockey to magic. My particular interest being Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon. The selection they have is vast as well as the great condition the cards come in make shopping here a worth while experience. They have tons of room for card tournaments. A very knowledgable and friendly staff give you top tier customer service.

For first impressions I am very pleased of the attitude towards there ethic's and there pretentiousness involving collectibles. And very space savvy.

Ben and Ian are simply the best. They personify positive customer service and no other card shop comes anywhere close to their quality level.
Store is clean, cards and other items are displayed securely. Plenty of space for playing tournaments comfortably. Prices are fair and trades are respected and transparent.

Yesterday I was looking for a starting Pokemon deck for my young cousins, unfortunately they had sold out but I was told they will be getting more Tomorrow.

When I went in today I was greeted and assisted in a prompt and professional manner. The staff members who assisted yesterday even thanked me for returning.

As a former patron of Fresher's Sport Cards I am impressed with the new renovation, the overall cleanliness, the helpfulness and professionalism show by the new staff/owner.

A great first impression and I will likely return for any trading card needs.

Great place and friendly environment. The person helping me sell my yugioh cards was very knowledgeable and he knew what he was doing. Great place to hang out and I would definitely recommend going here if you want professional help selling and buying cards.
