Plumbhouse Plumbing, Heating & Electrical

Two thousand years ago, the Romans, using wonderfully concise Latin, warned of individuals who provided poor service or sold shoddy merchandise using two little words: “Caveat Emptor” or “Buyer Beware”. In the case of Plumbhouse Plumbing, Heating, Electrical you should be in ‘beware” mode. Or simply not engage at all. Let me explain:

We hired Plumbhouse to do the plumbing in a bathroom renovation: new shower, bathtub, sink, toilet. It wasn’t a complicated job. Pretty straightforward. Nothing complex. After they came for an assessment, they quoted and we signed the contract. In other words, they agreed to provide services in a timely fashion. After the contract was signed they dithered and dithered for weeks, seemingly unable to schedule the project wherein the plumber would have to sequence work with other trades, for example after completing the shower, install the plumbing for the tub, allow the floor tiler to come in and THEN do final tub installation. Surely, that isn’t uncommon… Trades work together to complete the project by scheduling around each other and the only other trades were a tiler and a drywall guy. Our project was not, after all, a Roman bath…

After three weeks of being unable to get Plumbhouse to start the project, we received an email saying that we were being dropped as customers (Although you could argue that we really weren’t “customers” since no work was done). The reason: Plumbhouse was accepting a large job “that doesn’t allow us to commit to your upcoming renovation. ” I would find out that they were allocating their resources to a more lucrative job, leaving us in the lurch - a highly unprofessional, unkind and undignified move. Besides, a contract was signed. The parties agreed to the project. Apparently that meant nothing in the world of Plumbhouse where ethics are obviously MIA.

When I talked with the owner about their decision (I confess I was flabbergasted and needed more information), I was told that Plumbhouse pulled services from nine other customers! When asked why my job was was one of the ten, I was told that I altered the contract when I asked that a measly 6’ leaking water line to the toilet be replaced that we discovered was leaking after the initial assessment. They also couldn’t seem to get their heads around scheduling other trades (2), describing the job as “complicated”! In other words, the owner was looking any excuse in order to justify his poor behaviour of severing the contract. In the case of Plumbhouse, it’s all about money rather than customer service or ethics. Buyer Beware. The Romans were right…

I’ve used other companies but honestly this company was my best experience. The service I received was excellent and transparent. My plumber was Brayden and he was polite and friendly. If I need anything in the future I won’t hesitate to use this company again. Thanks guys.

I recently used Plumbhouse on an entire gut project of our family home. Under an extreme time crunch Plumbhouse pulled through in every aspect. From adding a bathroom, moving a kitchen, rewiring and replumbing an entire home to updating the furnace and hvac system. Every member of the team was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend all of their services. With a deadline looming Estevan and Brayden went so far as to come in after their family's Thanksgiving dinner and stay into the morning to ensure my family had a home to move into. There is no way we could have done it without you and you will forever have our gratitude. Thank you!

Lifesavers in the Cold!

We've been loyal customers of Plumbhouse for a while, and they've consistently exceeded our expectations. Recently, our furnace decided to call it quits, and with three small kids in the house, the dropping temperatures were a concern. Plumbhouse came to our rescue promptly, fixed the issue efficiently, and ensured our home was warm and cozy again. Their professionalism, reliability, and understanding of our urgent situation make them our go-to for all things plumbing and heating. Grateful for their excellent service!

I Had a toilet that was continuously running and a shower that wouldn’t get hot, i dont the first thing about plumbing but One of their plumbers Mitch came in and replaced the cartridge in my shower and the valve in my toilet everything worked great afterwards. Mitch was a great guy and he did it in a timely manner at an affordable price, no complaints from me.

These are my go to guys they do great work and are amazing with tenants. BEST GUYS AROUND!

We had Mitch Graham come and instal a water line to our fridge for our ice machine. Mitch was super friendly and did amazing work. Instead of taking the easy route he did the job right and took his time! Mitch was very friendly and professional. He ensured he followed up with us to make sure everything was working okay after the fact. He was very kind to our animals which is always a great thing from someone in their home! Our ice machine is working great and we are so thrilled with everything Mitch helped with!

I had Plumbhouse out of work on my electric furnace. Turns out they had a guy that was an electrician and gas fitter. Worked out perfect! Thank you Tyson for your help.

We use Plumbhouse at my place of work, and this is the second time I have used them in my personal home. John and Caleb (? I hope that was his name) arrived ahead of schedule, were extremely quick with swapping 4 of my light fixtures as well as adding a new outlet for an upcoming kitchen renovation I am completing. John gave me all the options when it came to either just moving one outlet up a couple of feet or adding a whole new outlet at counter level, and I know we made the right choice. The lights went up extremely fast and I am so very happy with them. They were very neat and professional, and just great guys to have complete some prep work for me today. They also put up with my always happy to help and nosey dog throughout it all. Thank you again Plumbhouse!

Brayden and Mitch are rockstars. We had a very unprofessional company come out this morning who literally said they couldn't fix our sink that wasn't draining and left to these 2 who came in, got the job done, communicated, talked and were so friendly and awesome. No more sink issues and I'd have these two back anytime!

The service men that came and did the work were very professional. They solved all my drain problems, as I live in a older home. Also did my furnace check up. My home was left clean and tidy you would never know they had been here. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks for the great service.

Absolutely shameful that this company charge $160 to relight the pilot light. I would NEVER use this company again. My gas stove had a leak and the gas was turned off and the pilot light went out. I called them to let them know I didn't have any hot water and this is what they charged me to relight it, after their technician left it out after he did the work. Called to complain about the exorbitant charge and Julie spoke over me the entire time I was talking. Actually commended themselves for not charging me for MATERIALS. IT WAS A MATCH USED TO LIGHT THE PILOT.
NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
