Our journey with Pointts started on a promising note as they diligently tackled our stunt driving case. Initial efforts were commendable, but our experience soured during the negotiation phase. Before court, they presented an offer, emphasizing its benefits – a reduced fine and no license suspension. However, the crucial detail of Quebec regulations, vital for us as residents of Quebec, was overlooked.

Trusting their guidance, we accepted the offer, only to find out later that our Quebec license was still suspended when the ticket was transferred. The lack of expertise in handling cross-border issues was evident, leaving us questioning the value of their services.

As Quebec residents dealing with an Ontario ticket, we expected Pointts to navigate the intricacies effectively. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and we felt we could have achieved similar results, if not better, by representing ourselves.

Regrettably, our investment in Pointts did not yield the desired outcome, and we advise fellow Quebec residents to exercise caution when seeking their services in similar situations. The financial commitment did not align with the level of expertise provided, leaving us with a sense of dissatisfaction and a lesson learned.

They make all the promises but once they have your money it's impossible to get ahold of them. In the end I got the exact same result as I was offered in the beginning before I went to them. They made me get a driving record (clean record) $100, $400 to hire them, still got the exact same result for an offense I did not commit. I highly doubt they can get anybody off for anything if they couldnt get someone off for speeding when the cop didn't even have a radar set up and they have a clean driving record. Like all other comments that give honest reviews, they will try and claim not a client. Ni accountability from these folks. They are predators. Hire a real lawyer and save yourself the misery

Edit: never said you promised to get me off of anything. You promised to give your best representation and do everything you could and you did absolutely nothing. You just sent me what they already said they'd do. You never responded to emails or voice-mail. You never once sent me or told me the evidence against me, I asked three times. I've now sent two emails to helppointts and not one response. You have zero accountability. Any negative review you say is fake. Your positive reviews are constantly posted in bulk and are clearly from fake accounts (maybe 1 other review). You're con artists. Predators. Like I said before, hire a real lawyer or just represent yourself. You'll have a lot better luck. Done with these predators.

I had a great experience with points, I had a ticket I was fighting a ticket since 2020 and it was extremely delayed due to covid, but Points and my paralegal Justin, was constant in updating me where needed and keeping me informed

I would give 0 stars if I could. I contacted them saying my issue with a ticket and was told to send my email so they can send me a paper to sign (email was sent on Friday feb. 24) it’s now Wednesday March 1 no answer so I call back saying I didn’t get anything and I sent the email 5 days ago if u want to count weekends off that’s 3 days so they send me it and it’s not working through email and I explained that saying if I can come in person and they say no. Now I’m told since it’s closer to the due date it’s 800 $$ which is not my fault at all that it’s closer to the due date because if they did the only job they had at the time which was to send the paper to sign this would have been done (asked if I could come in and sign and asked if they preferred cash or card and was told no). Trying to have a convo on the phone. I was asked a question I answered with just give me a minute I’m thinking and she tells me “I can’t wait on the phone til u make the decision” very disgusting, unimpressed, unprofessional, thank god they aren’t going to be the ones defending me in court I have proof of all messages and the days and times they were sent and have recording of how rude the phone call was

I got charged with driving without insurance and went to them for help. I explained the whole situation, and what happened! They acted like they would do everything for me and fix this and that I could win it, then after once I gave them the money to pay for the Service. They acted like they didn’t care really didn’t give me the true professional courtesy that they should have and just pass it off to another lawyer and which he pushing me into to plead guilty with an explanation. Also he really didn’t seem too enthused to fight for me just kind of more brushing me off and being super rude when I we’re just asking him to fight for me so I can win this! Still had to eat the Charges and the big fine that goes with it and paid them for basically nothing so I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! I’m sure there are better lawyers that actually care and want to actually help you! I’m not brush you off! And not respond to your calls … how do you constantly keep calling them to chat with them because they said they would call me back and never did always had to initiate phone calls and chase them when I was the one that paid money for their services!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my extreme satisfaction with the services I received from POINTTS. From day one, the staff were responsive, professional, flexible, informative and incredibly knowledgeable. They responded to all of my questions regardless of how many there were and always did so in a very quick fashion. They are truly working for you. They explain all the possible outcome scenarios in a way that is easy to understand and provide you with options and the information you need to make the decision that is best for you. Because of the pandemic our case stretched over almost a one year period. In this time, I continued to get the same top level service from them, at no time did I feel like they were no longer interested in my case. To the contrary they continued to reach out to me to provide me with updates and next steps. They were also able to get us the minimum charge possible for our driving infraction. This does not in any way diminish the severity of the charge for which a lesson was learned, was costly and defensive driving course was taken, but to say that they really are working for you and your best interest. POINTTS Ottawa was able to clear my case on careless driving when I got into accident involving black ice. The officer wasnt being fair and I wanted to get a fair trial on my matter and they were able to have it withdrawn completely. No dermit points, no offence, and no fine. I was referred to Randy Smale by a good friend and ex-police sergeant. First time using POINTTS and we were very satisfied with Randy's professionalism and excellent service. I would not hesitate to hire POINTTS again in the future or recommend to a friend.

In 2015 I had been convicted for driving while under suspension due to unpaid fines. Last year unfortunately it happened again + 2 other small charges. This time, the prosecutor was not budging and imposed a mandatory 6 month suspension and a fine. I tried to explain the unique situation to the prosecutor but she was not having it. As a football coach, I drive some of my players to and from practices and games, and for work, I need to drive around and in between both jobs. Therefore having a 6 month suspension would've definitely destroyed me. I begged the prosecutor 1 week prior to trial and yet she still would not budge. I called xcopper and got a quote but I didnt feel confident in their abilities. I called Points and met with Randy and he explained the process to me and potential outcomes. I felt that he would genuinely do everything in his power to fight this for me despite he had less than 1 week to negotiate something on my behalf. In the end, Randy was able to get the 2 minor offences thrown away and NO SUSPENSION. I highly recommend Randy from points, he knows his stuff and has many years of experience. I wish I knew about Points a long time ago. This was definitely the best decision I made all year as it saved my career and aspects of my life.

Randy Smale was beyond exceptional. In meeting with him over my minor speeding ticket he explained every possible angle and how long-term insurance factors would work out. I used pointts services after a recieved a hefty traffic ticket. (5 demerit point) It was a very easy process, they did all the hard work. In the end they were able to have my ticket reduced down to a bylaw infraction & no demerit points! Couldn’t be happier!

Pricing was better than their competitors but in the end was less than satisfied with outcome. Cop lied about the details and prosecutor dredged up details of tickets rendered 25 years earlier and argued that made me habitual. In post-trial debrief I was not left with the impression that Pointts fought for me at all. Got a result with lower points but at the cost of double the fine. Lesson learned. Get a dash cam to prove when cops lie and, if at all possible, fight for yourself because they don't care the way you do.

I received a Careless Driving ticket from Ottawa. This was going to be 500$ and 6 Demerit Points (my insurance was going to increase a great deal). Pointts got it reduced to Obstruction: 110$ and ZERO Demerit Points. They are very professional and understanding of your situation; especially if you feel the ticket was undeserved. Ask for Randy Smale.
