Polar Dental Centre

I used to hate visiting the dentist before Polar Dental. The discomfort, the wait times and awkward conversations while having four fingers inside my mouth was something I never looked forward to. That was until I started coming here 5 years ago. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the two lovely receptionists, Josie and Vickie, who make you feel right at home. They always remember me and our previous conversations even if it’s been months. You never feel like you are at a dental clinic here because everyone is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. After over a dozen visits, I’ve never had to wait over 5 minutes for my appointment and have always left the clinic looking forward to my next visit.

Dr Jim is very nice and fixed all my cavities and the filling feels just like my real teeth. Also go for a cleaning every 4 months and that has helped me keep my teeth in really good condition. Really enjoy the environment and feels really friendly.

Love this dentist! They accommodated me on the same day I called them and made me a patient. They have great pricing and lovely staff. Everyone is kind, dentist is clean. Definitely recommend!

Be careful, you enter the office, they do cleaning for 30 min then if they see you are insured they will charge you for 1 hour cleaning, I have visited them 2 times without knowing and ever noticing, I just noticed what they have done!

I always enjoy visiting Polar Dental, they make me feel so welcome. The front staff Josie and Vickie always greet me with a smile and a great attitude. The whole dental staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make me comfortable. They are also very professional and do a really good job. My teeth always feel so clean and like new after a visit. After coming to Polar Dental for my check ups a few times now, I feel like I've finally found my dental clinic.

This dentist is one of the most accommodating office ever! The receptionist was super helpful and very friendly. I had a tooth that was in a lot of pain and they took me in immediately! Definitely 5 stars

I had a serious issue with my upper molar and it had to be pulled. Dr. Alex and Dr. Tony were amazing. I was a little anxious and they completely calmed me.
They are so confident and amazingly I didn’t feel anything.
My dentist of 30 years retired and now Polar Dental is my new Dental go to.

Wow see my chipped front tooth? No U can't. Dr. Alex blended filling material for invisible repair. I am a new patient to Polar Dental and my family to. Amazing results, and inexpensive. Polar is my families new dentist. We came bcuz of the reviews, and staying bcuz of the quality of work. Have had cleaning done also, great job, facility is spotless and staff is helpful and friendly.

My son was a patient at Kids Dental. It turns out that Kids Dental was over charging me for services! Polar Dental was able to identify that the same service offered here would be far less than what they were charging. The receptionist here was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. She carefully took the time to explain everything and is willing to work with parents.

I couldn't be happier it is a huge relief as a parent to have found them.

I called to book an appointment because i had so much pain. I spoke to a girl (kristine) ? She asked me if i have a fever and i said no. I told her im on ODSB and she told me they're currently not accepting patients on odsb because they dont make money. This is unacceptable, she was so rude. Even though i told her i had lots of pain she kept saying no and hung up. Learn some manners please.

From the hygienist to the dentists to the amazing office manager, Nicole, they are always a pleasure to deal with. Very accommodating with appointments and very compassionate with nervous patients! I have being a patient of Dr Michael Shambran for about 15 years and I could’ve not chosen a better dentist, he is a great profesional and compassionate person, his staff is very courteous and attentive, you enjoy a very friendly atmosphere where they pamper you with coffee and water as you prefer. His office is equipped with a state of the art technology equipment. My husband and I are very satisfied with the service offered at this dentistry.

The dentists at Polar Dental -Richmondhill are the best, I have seen them all and still cant pick a favorite! Nicole in administration is AWESOME! She is so informative and knows everything about insurance companies and polices. Chris the assistant helps keep you calm if your a nervous person, and Kimberly the hygienist is perfect, she knows how to clean teeth, and leave you with pearly whites:) This office will go above and beyond to keep you smiling

This office is great. The staff is very friendly and only wants the best for your oral health. Other places i have been to are always pushing unnecessary treatments, but not here, they value their patients. Dr Chan, Dr. Tony and Dr Alex are gentle kind and understanding.
