Pomegranate Chinese Cuisine

This is a true family own business. My family has been going here for as long as I can remember. Great for Canadian Chinese food. The prices are about the same as everywhere else, and the delivery is still done but the restaurant. The staff is friendly and the delivery is always prompt and hot.

Very Friendly staff. Food is always good, and large portions.

Only thing I don’t like is the parking.

We typically order take-out and are never disappointed. Great staff and owner! The restaurant is always packed when I pick up my food which is the product of good food and good service.

Had the fresh made chicken balls, Wong tong soup, egg rolls, beef and broccoli, rice, chicken chow mein. Everything was delicious and friendly service. Chineise tea also. Thanks.

Good food and good service. Seated 6 of us easily. Only wished they had a few more options on kids menu.

Where do I start?
First time ordering and the last.
Food was a pickup order.
Food was, for the most part tastey and not slimey as others have complained.
The biggest issue with this order is the 100$ plus order, which has ballooned in price due to many factors is obviously across the entire industry.
Its the tiny little portions!
I mean, are you serious?
Containers have been reduced to the bare minimum!
Honestly, bean sprouts and rice must be so out of control expensive I just cant imagine?
4 adults for for well over 100$ had very small plates with Zero leftovers!
I thought Mandarin takeout was very good quality and not large portions.
Until I ordered this!

Ordered from this restaurant New Years Eve, they were gracious enough to take my order. I have to say, one of the best Chinese restaurants I have had. Service was excellent, food was even better.
I have ordered from many other restaurants in Tecumseh and Windsor area and I will never go to those restaurants again. Pomegranate is the BEST!

Not the best "Canadian" Chinese Food I have had.

What I've learned if you don't see a Chinese person come eat on a busy Saturday night its obviously not going to be what real Chinese people would eat.

The servers were very busy running around and forgot to bring the hot sauce the first time I asked.

Server also took away my pop without it even being finished.

Food was so bland there was no salt in the soup, fried rice and the chicken chop Suey.

Sweet and sour shrimp was a disaster. So much breading douced in sweet and sour sauce.

Chicken chop Suey was more like a just bean sprouts and mushrooms.

Got the dinner for two and only recieved enough fried rice for just one person

Set dinner menu included
1 drink pop, tea or coffee.
2 Soup
2 Egg Rolls
1 Fried Rice
2 protein items.

$34.60 total.

Food wasn't very good. We felt let down based on the reviews. Guess we shouldn't trust them.

So disappointed. I saw how highly rated this place was and was excited. We really enjoy chinese food and I ordered a variety of things. Across the board all the food was "off". All very unappetizing looking and the taste was terrible. The chicken chop Suey was green grey, slimey and mysteriously fishy. Other dishes were greasy and also slimey. The best thing we ordered was bland at best. The 3 of us couldn't eat it; we had to throw out $100 of food and went hungry. I'm just glad we didn't get food poisoning.

Delicious combinations. Stir fry noodles are amazing. First time getting take out will return again!

Horrible food, you're better off getting frozen meals from the grocery store for a third of the price.

Everything we ordered looked unappetizing. It all also was bland.just absolutely no taste: fried rice, chicken balls, egg rolls. The beef and broccoli was covered in a weird gravy-like sauce that I've never experienced on the dish. (The photo of their B&B does not show this "sauce" btw). The portion sizes were also oddly small. EVERYTHING went in the garbage! Out $60 plus tip! When I called to complain I was told nothing would be done because I could not return the food (as I'd thrown it all out!) and she hung up on me. (Yet below in a response to another bad review the owner claims she is not rude or argumentative. But she talked to me the exact same way before she hung up on me that reviewer asserts). Just WOW! For a first time customer who ordered from here because people rave about them 1) I could not believe their lack of professionalism and 2) I assume everyone who raves about this place has a lack of good taste / tastebuds. Also, the restaurant deletes / blocks anyone with a bad review. Such babies!
