Very peaceful, clean, convenient place for walking with kids, dogs or someone's else. A lot of shadow, benches. Has a small playground. Parking beside the Church.

Beautiful park for a walk or bike ride with your family. Love the signs along the trail that allow you to "connect with nature".

Not very large, can be done in about 30 - 40 minutes, but it's a peaceful and beautiful "Forest Therapy" trail with meandering streams (from Don River) throughout. Cross Henderson Street or under a short tunnel for the complete loop.

Large park with many amenities including soccer fields, trails, and a playground. I do miss the locomotive that used to be there though.

Wow, what a hidden gem! We saw two Mallards ducks, a female beaver and red tailed squirrels. The beavers created two dams. Lots of Robin's.

Great long walking trail that is paved for the most part, with guided meditation suggestions along route. It’s perfect for dog-walkers, baby-strolling families, couples and solo hikers. There’s a playground by the Tennis courts good for kids. Great for most seasons though some parts can get really icy during winter.

Beautiful wide open park and lovely bridges over the stream. Old trees line the entire route which add to the appeal of the park.

Awesome short trail for a stroll. Downside is the small parking lot. Probably better to park on the side streets (not John st)

Nice combination of river, bridges, trees, and grass. Good size for a small hike in the city. I do not like the part where you have to walk through a round, pipe-like tunnel.

Great place for walking, running, playing with your kids and family members, dog walking, and also there is a Tennis club, also parking site is available.

One of the nicest walks in the area. Really beautifully maintained and peaceful. Highly recommended. (Except, selfishly, maybe not, as it's a bit of a "hidden" gem! Haha.)

July 2021 a nice trail with a playground, running stream and lots of bridges. Very nice for walking, cycling is good (except near the exit at church st. As there's lots of stairs.)

Unofficial path on a big hill, be careful- there's a bump at the end. Kid didn't go slow enough, flew off his bike and fractured his neck. Clearly not the park's fault but caution advised!

Beautiful place for a walk with kids and family. It does have few picnic tables to enjoy a snack or two with family and friends.
Water is dirty but fishing is allowed

The trail was great for a nice walk. It was very calm and not crowded on a weekday. It took us almost 50mins to complete the loop with a few stops to take photos. The parking lot near the tennis court entrance was very small. It may be a better idea to park around Forest Park Crescent.

A small local trail in neighborhood, usually I am going there for cycling. It has a nice atmosphere around. Enjoy it

It’s a nice park for nature walk. There are few parts of the park. You can choose what to do. You will find a few open walk paths to go uphill and you will end up on the street. There is a few small bridges and East Don River is running underneath the bridges. You will find a tunnel with good artworks, great to take pictures. There are few spots where you can sit silently and take a big breath in fresh air. You can take a book with you to read in a quite place. If you find parking lot is full, there are few spots on the street.
I hope you will like the place and walk too. Please type #bhromonbuddy and visit my site and get future updates.

Like this park so much especially in this season. The only problem is there tennis court and also football field and parking spots are limited, you may have to park you car far away and walk to the park

A really great park with a lot of trees and a nice trail. The surrounding neighborhood is also really nice and great to take a evening summer stroll in.

Such a beautiful little park! So many things to do here. I especially love the secret trails along the river!

A short but very good trail right in the city. We have been there in different seasons and it's always great. Cars usually park on Henderson Ave. Most of the trail is to the west of the road. The part of the east side is much shorter.

A big and very comfortable and safe place to walk and refresh. Wildlife is incredibly visible in the park and you can enjoy the fresh air and natural environment just close to Yonge Street in North York. Come and see

Always enjoy walking through this park. Have done so with my son for since he could walk. Now he's 14 and still enjoy.
20 March 2020 16:26
Beautiful park with lots of trails and a stream. Plenty of parking for free on the streets and many park entrances on different streets as well.

Watch out for when snow melts or when it rains. It gets pretty muddy out there

Such a little hidden gem in the city! 6 minutes away and I had no idea. Plenty of trails, bridges, stairs, all with the river winding through. Great place to walk with or without dogs.

Great trails, secluded area with lots of greenery. Dog friendly. Prepare yourself for stairs though!

A hidden gem. It has a huge football ground for small children. Children playground, a free parking lot. The whole park is covered by old trees and carpet green. Tennis court is within the park. Inside the park, u will find a very nice trail full access to Yonge street and other exit. Great for dog walker. A little creek too can see salmon activities in Oct.

Little beautiful park in Thornhill neighborhood. Great for enjoying an evening walk. The trail leads to beautiful boardwalk and staircase. There are few bridges in the park which makes it great for Instagram photos.
It's missing water fountains though.

A good park for a picnic, stroll or to walk the dog. It has a pleasant mix of woodland and open spaces. There are also tennis courts and soccer fields with enough open space to play with the kids or your dog. Not large but you can get in a good 30-40 minute walk if you go the full route and back.

Pomona Mills was a gorgeous little park in the middle of Thornhill. Surrounded by the historic town and quaint neighbourhood, this park has lots of places to sit and relax by streams. It's generally quiet, the people are friendly, and there are tons of cute puppers being walked in the spring/summer. Be careful - the pathways are soggy in the rain and there's a lot of mud. Highly recommended that you explore this park!
