Thanksgiving poutine is a rare treat. Probably the best poutine in the Ottawa area.

Great food. Interesting weekly poutine specials. They are always good and not your typical offerings. Highly recommended! Check out the Facebook page for the specials and hours. They are great about updating it.

This is a little chip truck in a dirt parking lot close to the 417 exit for carp. It is fantastic and their specialty poutine are always interesting and delicious!

And the price is more than fair!

I wish I never found this place. With his weekly special poutines and the pricing. It's ruined other chip trucks for me. Food is aweomes and for $10.50 to get a speciality poutine and a drink. You can't beat it.

I’ve been here many times and it’s always been excellent. Expect a wait, a lot of people come here for lunch. But, it’s well worth it!

Ordered the poutine because I heard it was one of the best in Ottawa. Fries were too dark and had strong grease taste. Gravy too thick for my liking and not enough curds. Serving size for the price was good.

Went to Gatineau the next day and got a real poutine.

The best chip truck in all of Ottawa! Will continue going here. Great service, delicious and hot food, and awesome prices.

Fries were good but burger was tasteless. Even with "everything" on it, it felt like it was missing flavour and on a cold, thick bun.

One of the best Poutine place in the National Capital Region. Large portions and good prices. Service is very fast and friendly. Specials are usually very creative and tasty. Highly recommend!

I really want to give Pongs a higher rating because the poutine is excellent. However their hours make it so hard to actually enjoy one. I've dropped by an hour before advertised closing time just to find them closed already. Makes it hard because they're a little further away from things: (

OK, so here is the story. I hate Poutine. Always have, thought I always would.

Then I read a review about Pong's. The reviewer said they didn't like Pongs because they used skinny fries.

Skinny fries! I thought to myself, I like skinny fries.

Now I sad to say, I love pouting. Pong's to be precise. My waistline might not but too bad.

Over all good chip stand. The Pogos are Pogo brand which is always a good thing. Wait times are not too bad in off hours. The only reason I am docking a star is because I am not a fan of the more slender fries at chips stands. I prefer the home style thick cuts. The ability to enter and exit the location can also be difficult during more dense traffic hours.

Alright poutine for cheap! Often high school students running the place, which I think causes quality to suffer a bit. Pretty darn good for the price and amazing portion sizes!

Great variety of amazingly well balanced poutines. Thank you for such an exciting mouth experience. If you like you fries or poutine with string fries, this is the spot to go too.

Awesome poutine! Just got a classic poutine and there's something about the shoestring fries that made this poutine so awesome. They were fried to a perfect crispy-ness. Coupled with the delicious and generous gravy and cheese curds.

By far this is one of my most favorite poutine spots in Ottawa. Their fries are crispy, pairing with perfect gravy, and of course the squeaky cheese curds. Love their themed poutines too. So so amazing

Worst fish and chip ever! Not fresh at all, under cooked and too much badder also the badder taste awful. Poutine is a 3/10, not fresh, fries skinny and overcooked and gravy is not great.

Not sure how anyone rated this place more than a 1, I guess there isn’t many places to eat in Carp. No Chip truck or poutine place should ever serve what I can only describe as deep fried frozen McCain shoestring fries and have the word poutine in their name. Fries were over cooked and garbage. I’d honestly give this place a ZERO, but the Octoberfest sausage was half decent, and their drinks were cold. Not worth the drive from Nepean. I blame Stunt Man Stu for this epic waste of my time.

Tried it for the first time on my birthday and then returned today!
Unfortunately it was way too good that wasn’t able to take a picture of it being so filled to the top.

They were closing at 4pm and I called 15 minutes earlier and asked if they can just make the poutine and have it ready for me before that time and they agreed.

I don't usually hand out five star reviews for chip trucks, there is usually something I don't like. Maybe this place could be located closer to my house? That's unreasonable though. Back to the review, I feel like this place takes their business seriously, and you can taste it. Please review the included phots as you can see they use a quality bun for their burgers, real cheese curds that perfectly half melted. They use thinly cut fries which I enjoy, that's all personally preference though.the gravy is nice and flavourful without being intrusive. I believe a poutine should be equal parts fries/gravy/cheese all working together and that's what you will find here at Pong's. Back to the bacon cheese burger, again with the quality ingredients. Nice bacon mixed with cheese and other toppings. The patty was definitely home made, some sort of onion and other flavours were noticed, nicely done. To top all this off you can get the bacon cheeseburger combo with a drink for $10 plus tax. I really like that the combo comes in its own box, like a little gift to yourself. Also the staff was really nice and friendly. That's all for now. Happy poutineing everyone.
