The opening of our pool and heater install took nearly a month. The job was originally booked and confirmed via their booking system for April 24th, 2023. After numerous no shows with little to no communication, someone finally showed up on May 5th. The entire job (opening and heater installation) was completed on May 19th (25 days total) and took an incredible amount of follow up / phone calls on our part to confirm the job would be completed. Appointments were often no shows or pushed with little to no explanation. The pump pressure gauge was broken prior to their arrival and nothing was mentioned to us until we brought it up ourselves. When I asked why it was always wet around the pump, they said it was from the work they just did. The wet puddles never went away until we discovered ourselves there’s actually a leak in the pump. Something they failed to notice or mention. We now need a new pump and will be purchasing elsewhere. Unreliable and terrible communication - but quick to send an invoice.

Horrible company to work with. Did a poor job installing our liner and were not overly honest and or helpful with resolving the issue afterwords. Not to mention it's recently come to my attention that Ryan Kore has quite a criminal past and was counterfeiting money at one point so it doesn't surprise me that these people are shady.

These guys showed up early and did a fantastic job of closing my pool. They actually walked me through all the steps and explained all they did. Impressed since other companies we used before did as little as possible and nothing was ever done the same time twice. Totally reccomended!

We were going to start using a service to close our pool. I filled out the online work order and received a call back 2 days later. (Message left because I was working.) I called back an hour later to book and still haven’t received a call back within 3 business days. Going to keep doing the closing ourselves.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Very dissatisfied with the costumer service from this location in Fonthill, not sure if it’s because I’m a young women and maybe they think I don’t know what I’m doing but the woman behind the counter is very unprofessional and did not help me at all, all she did was try and rush me out and tell me my pool wasn’t big enough to have the water tested and that all I needed was chlorine and stabilizer, which was so far from the truth. I went to paradise pools this morning and they tested my water and gave me all the chemicals needed to make sure my pool will stay in fabulous condition. I highly recommend jus going to paradise pools on thorold rd! Don’t waste your time here!

They are easy to use. They work with your changing shedule. The workers in the office Rock. The workers who come to your place are polite funny down to earth. Also answer any questions we throw their way. All I know next spring I'm calling Poolbusters again! So should you.

I called Poolbusters in Fonthill to have them do our pool closing for the season, as I have been unhappy with the customer service provided by another local pool company.
I have to say, the difference in using Poolbusters was like night & day.
Jude & Kevin did our pool closing, and they were fast, courteous, and friendly. It’s obvious they know what they’re doing. They were efficient without cutting any corners. They explained everything they were doing, and asked if I had any questions or concerns before they completed the job.
It’s great to find a pool company that’s close to home, priced competitively, and one in which you can have confidence that the job was done right.
I will definitely continue to use their services in the future, and recommend them to family & friends.

Best Niagara pool company by a landslide. They provide you with honest opinions and don't simply fall back on an easy cash grab from pushing unnecessary chemicals. If you've ever dealt with these other places you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Make the change to Pool Busters.you will not regret it.

Tried to get an in ground pool built by poolbusters. Could not get them to show up and when they did show up the work was sub par. Ended up digging up my pool and starting over myself. It was a disaster, a headache while working with them.

Could not have been nicer to deal with. From testing water samples during the summer and getting their advice to closing of the pool, they were terrific.
Would highly recommend them.

Booked a quote for inground pool. I know with covid everyone is busy but we did make a day and time for someone to come out. Never called or showed up i called and asked where he was and was told he would call back. Never did. I guess i didnt meet there $ 75,000 job requirements. Unbelievable

The crew did a great job in closing the pool. Everything was cleaned up and put away in the shed.thanks guys.

We use Pool busters last two years, their cleaning staff are terrible. They used nothing in our pool, pool was more dirty after they left and they also over charged for labours that were not done.not recommend.never again

Appalled by the state of our pool upon opening. Last October we entrusted our pool closing to Poolbusters for our circumstances had changed and I required the assistance. So Yesterday I opened the pool and was completely taken back by the quality of the water and condition that our pool was left in. The pool was clearly not vacuumed at all prior to winterizing and there was even a dead squirrel on the bottom which clearly was not post close for there is no way an animal would have been able to breach winter blanket. Also to my amazement the closing chemical bottles were found floating still half full and had not been disbursed properly, they had not been able to remove one of the jets but instead plugged it (probably didn't try very hard) and then to make matters worse our pump system which most likely was closed with moisture in it causing it to completely short out and actually go on fire when we went to start our system up, making the obvious assumption the lines were not blown out completely. This closing cost us over $300 for what looks to be 10 min of actual work.

I can say with complete confidence and knowledge from closing our pool for 8 years prior to this experience that this was clearly not a proper closing of an Inground pool system. I am appalled with the complete disregard for our property and can assure you that we will be taking our business elsewhere going forward. I can only hope you review your closing protocol and this doesn’t happen to another paying customer in the future.

We started using Poolbusters last year - the first year was great when John was taking care of it - then he left this year - and the new cleaning staff are awful. They used Chlorine treatment in a salt water pool, pool was dirty after they left and over charged for items that were not done. Would not recommend.

They are prompt and the pools never been cleaner. They're just the best for the area and very easy going, always show up and on time *** I have to edit this reveiw as the last few services have been not so good. When John was cleaning it, it was 5 star, now the new guys dont vacuum and leave green on the liner. The water is green between visits and that has never happened before, I'm still waiting on the owner to get back to me since labour day weekend

Three times I was desperate for problems I had with our in ground pool.
The first time I called Pool Busters they found a cancellation & sent a service man immediately. The problem was solved quickly.

The second time the pool was losing water a service man came after hours & repaired the damage then & there.

This last time the motor stopped. I called Pool Busters & was told they could possibly send someone within a day. Before the day was out a technician was here & solved the issue.

Pool Busters responds immediately when all others appear to need 2-3 days to get to your problems.

They did a great job with my pool liner replacement & the owner, Ryan, is wonderful with customer service. He goes above & beyond to keep the customer happy.

The best company I have worked with. Great service and quality of work. They did an excellent job on our pool remodel. No hidden costs, cheap materials or shadiness that you see in other companies. We had a huge problem with our pool this winter. Ryan ensured it was addressed and expedited quickly and properly. When they installed the liner it had a wrinkle so they came back, drained, fixed it.and refilled it with four trucks of water at their expense. Ryan called us to offer money back for our hose running to top it off. I call that over and above for the customer, exceeding our expectations. Thanks to Ryan, Brett and Johnny for all their hard work. We will continue to go to Pool Busters for all of our pool needs.

I call them to change my Pool Liner last month, They came and did all the needful, My pool now looks amazing, Yesterday I call them for an emergency in less than one hour Brett show up & fix it.

We have been a customer since we moved into Fonthill 10 years ago and have seen Ryan and team grow this business at an amazing rate while never suffering any disruption in quality or timing in service. The staff in the store and that have worked at our home have been great to work with including our opening this week which outside of crystal blue water you couldn't even tell people had been working here. Keep up the great work!

MY POOL IS CRYSTAL CLEAR! I have never been a pool owner until three years ago. The first summer of having a pool I decided that I would hire a very reputable pool company to look after the weekly pool maintenance. They were hired after the pool season had started, and it took them over a month to get the month clean and what I thought was clear. The second year, I decided to do the pool maintenance myself. What a disaster! The pool was somewhat clean but not clear during the whole summer. This year I decided to hire Poolbusters. Thanks to Ryan and his team, they opened the pool, shocked it and the next day it was clear. John came out a couple of days later and told me that he hadn't seen a pool this dirty for a long time. John worked his magic and a few hours later had the pool looking fantastic. Two days later John and Matt returned to vacuum the pool. I have never seen the pool this BLUE AND CRYSTAL CLEAR. Thank you to Ryan, John and the staff at Poolbusters for giving me a stress free summer this year and a beautiful crystal clean pool to swim in. They will be my go to pool company from now on.
