Popeyes Louisana Kitchen

0 star service for 2 star quality food. I don’t blame Popeyes as a whole for this poorly managed franchise. First, staff were very rude and did not care to be at work it seemed. The cashier was not listening so I had to repeat my order a few times and when I did, she gave me the dirtiest look… not sure why. After ordering, I noticed customers after also getting similar treatment which is unfortunate. Second, my food was overcooked to which we had advised another staff member as the cashier was busy, this staff member proceeded to tell us that that’s how their food is and that they all look like that and she can “prove it”. She went to the chicken rack and grabbed a piece of chicken to show us… strange. We didn’t continue the dispute as it seemed they didn’t care. Kitchen staff was on their phone, which explained the overcooked chicken. My chicken sandwich looked like someone had made it, put it in the bag and then used their palm to squish it… any ways, not a fan of how i was treated here especially for overcooked and under cared for food. There’s more to say but i digress.

The employees here make this branch a really chill place to get some juicy and tasty chicken. The atmosphere is peaceful the several times I've been here, and the food is great. Today, someone even wrote "enjoy:) " on the takeout box. Not sure if they have to do that, but it's a pleasant little detail regardless.

Staple for some good fried chicken, location is busy so chicken is always fresh. Super happy with the food, great service and all around food hit the spot! We'll done Popeye's team.

I bought Family meal (9pc Chicken), but they only gave me 8 pieces. I took the photo when I opened the box. Additionally, they only gave me one breast of the two that I requested.

I haven't had Popeye's for over a year. I found their chicken breasts to have too much fat on the skin and the biscuit was really salty. I think I'll have to stick with chicken fingers from there, and chicken breasts at KFC going forward

Their sides are awesome, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes with that awesome gravy

Store was really nice and employees were nice and friendly…. And service was also nice. I would like to visit again this store

The chicken pieces and the coleslaw were spoiled and smelly. Maybe an issue with the fridge. Management over to you.

2-3rd time i ordered 4 special chicken Thurday and they did not have the SPICY sauce with it, I told why, they replay to me they run out around 6pm when it's Thursday special chicken

Arrived here at 3: 30 AM, was not allowed to dine in according to employees because they had already cleaned the dining area. No signage anywhere in store saying no dine in allowed after certain time. Completely unprofessional store sign clearly says 10: 00-5: 00AM.

Sandwich was poorly made. I wilted lettuce leaf and a sickly tomato rind on top garbage food will never go back

Slowest Popeye's I've ever been to. No customers when I entered. 10 minutes for a poutine.

Don't order the onion rings for your side. You only get 5 rings in total. The fish, and deluxe chicken sandwiches were salty as well.

I tried calling but they never decided to pick up even though they have a number to call but the food is good when you can actually get it

Non spicy chicken sandwich was my order. Excellent quality chicken, not gummy, or with any strings of gristle. Breading was quite nice, crunch was quite audible. Sauces used (I believe a mayo of some kind?) Were on point, they toned down the saltiness of the batter perfectly, it was a great balance.

Old food from 5hr ago the tender was salty and dry and not fully cooked.bisute was old.drink had no fizz blank.side order was garbage too. I think the manager or the owner should fire all lazy staff before you go bankruptcy. Just a advice before it's too late.not coming back again.

Food is very tasty, no doubt; however, the chicken pieces were smaller than usual. Hope this isn't going to be the norm. I had called my order in earlier and was told it would be 15-20 minutes, got there a little later and thought my order would be waiting.nope.had to wait just as long as if I ordered there. The cashier ran up my order and it came up to more than what I was told over the phone. I mentioned it to her and she repeated my order and said that's what I ordered. Turned out she charged me regular price for the two orders of the day's special, which was part of my order. Luckily, I checked my bill and got a refund immediately. They're pretty slow there.

Few weeks ago, got the chicken tenders. I love how they're juicy but they were a bit too salty, even for my parents. Please reduce how salty it is if its still a bit too salty (u can check it out i guess). Thanks for ur effort and reading this review by the way: D
update: they're less salty now but they still too salty sorry, but i like how the french fries improved!

Always a great experience whenever I choose to come to this Popeyes location.

The staff is pleasant, washrooms are clean, and food is prepared well. Seating area is a bit congested as well as parking outside, however there is more parking available in the lot behind it. One of my go to locations for grabbing Popeyes.

Poor customer service and they didn't have enough regular chicken to fill my oder waste of time if your on the go if heading east check out the Coburg location very good customer service

I used to love this popeyes, but some staff are only there for the hours, order my sandwich, it was given to me cold, crushed and nothing as I would usually get here, to the Manager, your staff need training, even if the customer is nice, which I was, a staff member, won't say male or female, make me feel like I am a piece of dirt, you don't treat customer like we are the soil you walk on. We don't need to be there. This used to be one of the best Popeyes I know, but apparently some staff rather look at customers as a nuisance. Customers aren't always right, but we don't need you, you need us, the customer. Thnaks

I tried calling the store multiple times but since they don’t ever answer their phone I am forced to leave a review. I ordered a three piece spicy chicken meal yesterday and the chicken was undercooked. Literally almost raw inside. Unfortunately, I gave my six year old son a piece and he ate it and ended up throwing up for a good hour straight. I had to throw my chicken in the oven @ 400 for 15- 20 mins to try to cook it more and still it wasn’t even cooked through so I took a picture.

Someone from the store contact me please or we’re going to have a huge problem.

I usually enjoy Popeyes at any of their locations and this is the best I have had yet. The fries were perfect. The chicken sandwich was amazing. This location makes amazingly delicious food. Thank you for your excellence. I thoroughly enjoyed that meal.

It was great and fast service. Food was good, Specially the guy name Harsh, who took my order on the phone and came out to my car for the deliver my food. He was very nice to me and really it was nice gesture.

Second time we ordered here this month and again.their chicken was small. The legs are the size of the spoons lip. You would think it’s a chicken wing meal. They reduced the size of their chicken. Was never like this before, and we’ve been coming here for years. Really disappointed. Won’t be ordering from here anymore

Does anyone work here? No one picks up the phone after 5 times calling, and it rings forever. If you want a successful franchise location, please answer your phone

Went a couple of months ago. The girl at the counter was nice, but on our way out, someone who appeared to be either the store owner/member of management was raising his voice and having an argument with an employee. They were right in front of the door in the small entrance area, so we had to walk between them to exit the store. The owner/manager gave us the dirtiest look for walking between them. Not only was it unprofessional to argue with an employee in the walkway entrance, but it's even worse to give your paying customers dirty looks for having the audacity to use your only exit.

Despicable service. Ordered this on skip the dishes, and instead of actually dealing with the customer to tell me that onion rings were out of stock, they sent two orders of Cole slaw. How would that make a customer happy? How hard is it to call the customer? Then when I called, the manager was absolutely useless. I was offered "free fries on your next order" except how can you think I would EVER order from you again? What a waste of money

Still the best chicken sandwich in the city, I've tried Mary Brown's (mediocre) and Rowdy Bird (pretty good but expensive). The Canadian version is less salty than the American version and of course the actual chicken breast is much smaller because there's probably a whole lot less steroids in it.same excellent flavor though.

Touched the cash register with bare hands on money and then proceeded to touch my food with there bare hands disgusted during covid times, i could get sick and if I do im coming back

I must have caught these folks on the wrong day because I ordered two chicken sandwiches and they surely forgot to drain the chicken, the oil overwhelmed the sandwich and we had to throw out both! I’ve had great sandwiches at other locations but unfortunately, this location absolutely missed the mark.

It’s not busy nowadays. Staff was good. Fast and friendly. One complain is that they cheese in my poutine doesn’t melted at all. Maybe that poutine gravy was not at right temperature. Otherwise I loved their signature fries. Store was cleaned and they were following the COVID-19 protocols.

The chicken tasted like rubber and plastic like. Food was also cold when it arrived, I live 5 mins from the Popeyes.

Do not put non English ppl as cashiers. They can't take orders. Which results in orders being incorrect not impressed

When you say 5 people are allowed in you should stick to 5 people. Witnessed 10 people cramped in that little place. One woman who I know tested positive was in there maskless and gloveless. I hope they get shut down for not following the rules. Foods nasty as ish like their lazy azz cashier. Also dont even bother calling in because your food will NEVER be ready on time. Chicken is way too oily and they lie about not having certain foods. If it's still on the window you cant tell me you never sold it. If I could give this location a negative 5 I would.

I used to go to this place 3 years ago due to VERY slow service, rude staff and my orders were always wrong. They were the only popeyes in the area. I now go to the one on Rylander and never looked back. Plus parking there is terrible.

Great food mandem I support this popeyes they blessed me 6 pieces of chicken tender when i ordered 5 got mi belly full mon respect

I been to this location several times. Recently on March 24,2020 and chicken smelt bad and tasted raw or not cooked enough. I called the manager and they refused to accept their faults.

This isn’t the first time this location provides bad food and service. On of the female cashiers is so rude to customers it’s disgusting to listen to it.

I’ll make sure to next go here again.

One of my go to locations for Popeyes. Already a huge fan of fried chichen, but no one does it like popeyes!
This location is a smaller one compared to others, but still pretty good. Never had an issue with cleanliness any time Ive gone. Staff have always been all smiles! Sometimes can be a long line, especially when the high school kids have lunch! Chicken has always been warm and fresh. Never messed up any of my orders, but once I did get an extra chicken!
This location is one of the few locations that make the mashed potatoes right! Gravy, potatoes, then gravy again! Otherwise the ratios off!
Totally recommend popeyes and totally recommend this location!

Of course the food is always great but the wait time is a little long compared to other fast food places. They are improving, though, and they do usually get my order correct:)

The fried spicy chicken was great but it wasn't spicy enough for me. Furthermore, the biscuit they give is tasteless to say the least.

Everything was good. Only thing that require improvement is customer service. They had my food ready for 15 mins. Apparently they called for me once, but I didnt hear anything.

Nice place! Have tried Popeyes for first time and loved it especially the Louisiana sauce and poutine was amazing. The kids deal with one side is extremely mouth watering!
Nice affordable and offcourse this place serving halal chicken makes an excellent choice for people looking for halal fried chicken!
Can’t wait for ghost pepper chicken to come there!

Its the last time and never ever will go over there again. The guy who served me was so rude. We asked for a combo where we could make our choice like spicy, white or dark etc. He didnt asked me for anything and after paying the money i look into the receipt and i saw he gave something that i dont even want. He gave me a spicy one with dark meat in it. When i asked for the mistake he shouted to me saying that i can do only like this if you want you get it or else leave the store. All the other customers were looking at this rude behaviour. The associate name was Umar. What is the need for a store manager in a store when he is not even able to control and employee. The manager was just looking at it and didnt even care to respond. I am so disappointed with this kind of atitude. This is unacceptable especially with a restaurant. The reason that i didn’t shout him back is that if i do the same what is the difference between me and him. This is going to be the last time i am visiting popoyes.
