Please change your oil. The food was like it was made with machine oil. I couldn't even eat half of it.

I love Popeyes, this shop is the best in Toronto so far.

Good service and food compared to other branches. I came to this branch frequently, because I am living nearby. I found out that the night shift staff seems very friendly and cheerful. They open until midnight, it suits me well.

Personally, I really like their chicken tender. Very juicy, fresh and hot enough. About the sauce, blackened range is always my favorite.

Never disappoint me to come to this branch, very good dining experience.

Everything is good except the drink of the mechanic, too much sugar.
You guys have to find a way to balance it, especially the iced tea

Chicken wings was nice and hot, and this place stays open till 4 am so it was great to have midnight food.

The best Popeyes store I have visited so far, and must say the service they give is appreciated. Loved the Ghost Pepper wings. Other than this I've tried their chicken which was fresh delicious, their sandwich, and my favourite biscuits.
I also liked their strawberry pies.

The girl at the register and preparing my order never removed her plastic gloves used for food preparation when she did other things. She was leaning on the wall near the deep fryers talking to work colleagues (did she touch that wall with the gloves she was wearing?). She already had the gloves on. She took my order and rang it in the cash register, same gloves. She prepared my order (spicy chicken) and I saw her grab the buns, butter them and place them in the toaster, still same gloves. She then proceeded to take the next order without removing her gloves! This is a public health issue. She must ring an order without gloves. She should be putting on new gloves each and every time AFTER she touches anything that isnt food. I tried to talk to her but I couldn't understand her. She had very heavy (Indian?) accent.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is one of my favorite fast food fried chicken restaurants, and the location at Sherbourne and Bloor Street is truly exceptional. The restaurant is conveniently located just one minute away from the Sherbourne subway station, making it easily accessible to all. The fantastic, fresh chicken is definitely worth the trip, and the cleanliness of the restaurant is a standout feature that sets Popeyes apart from other fast food chains.

One of the most recent experiences I had at this location was dealing with the manager Kulsum, and I must say that she was simply outstanding. Her exceptional customer service skills went above and beyond my expectations, and she truly embodies all of the qualities of a great manager. Kulsum was attentive, helpful, and genuinely concerned with ensuring that my experience at Popeyes was a positive one. Her passion for customer service was evident, and it truly made my day.

In addition to the fantastic service provided by Kulsum, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has a lot of other positive points that make it a top-notch fast food restaurant. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious, and the menu is varied enough to satisfy all types of tastes and preferences. I always visit this place i was very happy with the food and the freshness of the food the place serves. But last night i called them to order chicken and sandwiches and Mac and Cheese. A lady picked up. I asked her if she can make me fresh chicken and i will be okay to wait as long as they need. She was very rude from the beginning and said she cannot drop the products as it was their closing time and that they close and 12: 00 am and hung up on me. I called the store around 11, i am well aware that the location doesn't close that early and is usually open untill Midnight. Short tempered People like that who have no idea what guest experience is shouldn't be on the service sector. I want to reach out to the GENERAL MANAGER of the store or the OWNER to let them know that because of some of the team members of the store the sales goes down way more. Thankss!

Went in when it was dead.

Ordered cajun fries, burger and chicken tenders.

Didn’t give me the fries in the takeout.
The burger patty was stale. Double fried. Visibly darker than the chicken tenders.
Chicken tenders although fresh, undercooked and raw tasting.

Threw out the entire meal. Waste of money and time.

Would not recommend.

It was edible, but far from being remotely good.
My wife brought home food from this location this evening.
The chicken tasted like the fryer oil hadn't been changed in awhile. The darkness of some of the chicken pieces pretty much confirmed my suspicion. I know what Popeye's food is supposed to taste like. This was a swing and a miss!

The chicken was phenomenal. Thank you for your hard work and you are appreciated. One of the best Popeyes I have had so far.

We went for our first dinner here! Wow. This place is clean, friendly, has delicious food and even gave us a sample to try since it was our first time there.

I orderd 12 peice nuggets (meal) and a large fry and I got this.

I was back today and ordered some spicy chicken sandwiches, for my family. It was still crispy with good packaging, however, I was so disappointed with its taste, so salty that we could not finish my meal. It looked like the chef put a ton of salt in there. That was totally unacceptable.

Hospitality is good at the place. And so was the bun or the sandwich. I must say they have some awesome buns for their sandwiches and I tried the spicy chicken burger today. But the onion rings were not good at taste and very bland. Rest sandwich was good. Would try more options next time. I have also tried their Tuesday special with 2 big pcs of fried chicken and I must say it’s too good with only 3.99$ + taxes.

The food here is always fresh and the manager is so friendly! Recommend getting food from this branch!

Staff here is closed the washroom and saying they are short on staff bad service customers can’t use washroom other places when they brought food from here

This is NOT one of the better Popeyes locations in Toronto. In my experience there the past 2-3 times the chicken is quite dried out and the thighs have bits and pieces of bone that make it overall very unpleasant to eat. My biggest problem is that this location in particular consistently gives you at least 3x less fries than other locations with your combo meal. The location I was just at near UToronto campus filled the combo box with fries while this location on Bloor street gives you this tiny little pouch of fries for the same price. Overall bad value and bad quality.

A disgusting and unclean establishment. Rude employees. Filthy work ethic demonstrated by workers in the back who we can plainly see wearing no mask, coughing, etc. I stood at the register for 5 minutes while these clowns were talking to each other in the back before I walked out. Avoid this location I would recommend the one on young st. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was there on 03/19/22 around 7pm.

It was great customer service but the wasn't cooked properly, it was almost raw chicken. I showed to the manager and he immediately gave me another leg.

I went to order for me and my girlfriend. I ordered for sandwiches and shrimps. The cashier was so rude to me, other employee at the back using cleanliness stuff while working on my food but not washing the hands. They feel like they are some kind of bosses there, I request owner to take action against these people.

Staff was super friendly I only waited about3 mins but they apologized for the wait which was no time at all. Food was great, super fresh and cooked well I always loved Popeyes but this experience made it all the better. Place was really clean in fact they we're cleaning it more while I was there. Keep up the tight ship.

This place has fallen off. It's still not as bad as the one on Yonge I was talking about (but then again I haven't been back to that one in a while), but like some other recent reviews getting the wrong order was something I caught too. I also noticed people used to be on point and you got your food fast.

They used to care about service with a bow tie - now if I can just get what I ordered and in a decent time I consider it a win.

This is a way better Popeyes than the one on Yonge. They actually care about the customer experience (and probably therefore likewise care about the food itself and everything in between).

The chicken at Popeyes has always been great but almost every location has terrible service, cleanliness - it's so good though that I used to endure that to have some. Now I don't have to!

Worst customer service ever
The worker looked like he didn’t take a shower in a week and had his mask covering his half face only and he was coughing while touching the chicken with no gloves

Everything just tasted like salt. It was like eating deep fried battered salt. Pure salt. Couldn’t taste the shrimp or fish - all I could taste was salt. The “shrimp” was just tiny salt nuggets - couldn’t find the shrimp in there…just batter and salt. The chicken sandwich also just tasted like, you guessed it, salt. Couldn’t taste that “Louisiana flavour” or seasoning in anything, just…. Salt. Mashed potatoes were just salty gooey slop. It was more of a paste that could be used to hang wallpaper up on the wall.

I love the apple pies. So imagine there's also strawberry, blueberry and raspberry. I got a combination of the three, since that was what was ready to go. Also, if you buy five, the pies are $1 apiece. What's not to like? YUMMMM!

I am really shocked. I used to visit this frequently. But a day ago when i went in the night i order 3 piece chicken. There is a panjabi guy who take my order. That time chicken was not ready so i need to wait for some time. After wait 8-10 min i received my order. When i recahed home i saw he he give me the tenders instead of giving me the chicken. I will never go back this store again.

I would like to share my experience as a worker.
It was my first day in popeyes and everything was so good. The staff taught and helped me in enhancing my skills. Due to which I was able to handle the customers.
Moreover, popeyes serves customers hygienic and tasty meals.

I am the regular customer of popeyes.this tym i am very disappointed.they told me that u have to buy something to use the washroom.it’s disgusting.

The staff were nice but its just salt.salt salt salt, my tender chicken is like you're biting salts and why? Cause I can't get it why.also my shrimp popcorn which is mostly just bread crumbs with shrimp taste are salty too.and fries I hate it.wish I could give the minus 200

The staff is very slow and unprofessional. Only one girl (with head scarf and glasses) is working hard. The girl with green shirt (says Shift leader) is standing around just talking talking talking and distracting others and doing nothing. She only yells at Uber delivery people "not ready! 5 minutes! " but just stand there and does not help the poor girl with headscarf with orders. Big line inside the store, people waiting for their orders and looked upset. I have been to hundreds of restaurants and Team leaders will usually jump right in and help the team and lead by example. Not this one. She just stands there with her hands on her hip.

Really though I have never had such an amazing Popeyes meal, everything was so fresh and fried perfectly! I have had Popeyes a million times but I have never had such fresh biscuits or juicy chicken. Whoever made my meal deserves a raise. Thank you to whoever was working August 15th 2021 @10: 15pm

I went in to pick up some food for hubby. They don't honor franchise specials which is fine, but, being charged full price for almost half an order of popcorn shrimp, is unacceptable. Not to mention, he got a spicy sandwich as opposed to the mild one that was ordered; hubby does not like spicy food, needless to say, he didn't finish it, which was unfortunate because the chicken breast was enormous and fresh.
The customer service is sub-par, the female that works there, obviously, doesn't want to be there.two strikes and you're out!
I won't be back.

Avoid this popeye's I ordered a chicken tenders combo and the chicken wasn't even cooked properly that's after asking them 2 times to please do it well done you could get sick from that I just want to let everyone know

I used to like the food, but I was so Disappointed after today's order,
We ordered 5 peace tender and a chicken sandwich, the Fries are good but none of the chickens are well cooked and it has an eggy smell inside! We almost throw out the whole meal.

Quality of food is at top level.chicken is soo yummy.staff is very cooperative nd very helpfull.best restaurant in this area.

Very bad experience chicken smelled bad and tasted sour the manager pretty much called me a liar said the chicken was fine the manager even took some of the chicken and tasted it then offered to cook the chicken again and this is while there's a pandemic. I mean she wanted to cook my chicken in the grease that they cook everyone's food in how many times has she done this I will never go back to popeyes ever again totally disgusted and disappointed on how I was treated

Worst place in toronto.
I went there few days earlier, even the manager has no manner and i wonder how there staff wil be! Even during this covid time she was not wearing hairnet and also she used her phone and did not wash hands before touching the foods again.
I do not understand how they run their store even when manager is not responsible and have no sense.

Ever since this new location launched in early Spring of 2020, it's been my most favourite Popeye's restaurant in the Toronto downtown core area.
The interior is always clean, with no lingering smells of cooking grease or stench from the toilets.
The newly trained staff are also extremely friendly and courteous.
The food is always fresh, I'm very pleased with the quality of food and services I received at tbis location.

Melt in your mouth deliciousness. I just tried the new chicken sandwich for the first time today and it was even better than I expected. The chicken breast tastes just like the fried chicken. Each bite is as good or even better than the last one. If you haven't tried Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen chicken sandwich yet, you need to!

The food was as always perfect and the waiting time is usually about 10 mins and its totally worth it. My kids and wife love this place and always go on weekends.

Popeyes have some amazing chicken and seafood! The employees at Popeyes are friendly and are great at recommending items on the menu that they like to eat. The chicken sandwich is what everyone seems to rave about. I can agree that the chicken sandwich is something special, but it takes some time to get after you order because it's one of the items that's on the menu that is always chosen by customers like me. Because of this, it's hard to order quickly because Popeyes is always super busy. I also love ordering a dozen of their biscuits, which are so good! My love for popayes kitchen will never die

Today marked the last time that I will buy chicken from this POPEYES CHICKEN location. We got served the oldest fries and very dried POPEYES CHICKEN. We called in for pick up and ordered the 8 pieces special around 6: 00 pm to enjoy dinner with family only to find out food gone waste. Tried to inform the store manager not to complain but instead the lady who answered said manager will call you back but guess what no call received. Just sharing our frustrations and will no longer recommend this location.

I love this Popeyes! The staff is so friendly and the food is always on point. I am often given an extra strip, pie or piece of chicken. Malik the manager is really nice and his entire team deserves kudos.

Horrible taste. I dunno what people are bragging about. No efficient service. I was the only one there and still had to wait 15 mins.for my order. Literally like 4 or 5 countable fries.biscuit was awful. Never going back again.

Its a new resturant so staff is okh okh! Food they serve is sometime fresh sometime not they are open late on some days but also.do not have lots of thing's available late at night! Ya can give it a try
