Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Ordered 3 pcs chicken x 2 and after the order was taken they inform us that the chicken is over and that they have only 4 pcs. All this happens after the cashier tells the guy working in the restaurant and he murmurs something back. The manager was just standing doing nothing around instead of helping with the orders. The cashier lady had to go behind and work for our order. Pathetic service!

Ordered two piece combo, for my daughter. This one came with the breast and a wing. She cut the wing in half ate a piece and said it tasted funny her exact word (fishy) I checked the other half of the wing it smelled funny and was brown.
I'm assuming that blood got into the meat and might be responsible for the odd smell and taste. The rest of the breast was fine and the wing was not attached to the breast.
We live too far to return.
Our experience is usually positive this is a first.

Would like to rate higher but unfortunately the service and quality control is lacking. Several errors on orders, almost to the point of normalcy. Staff is curt and only somewhat friendly. Frequently lacks items from cups to food. When they are having a good day, food and service are excellent. But it seems they are having more bad days than good lately. Management might need a refresher. Hopefully they can get things back on track.

My wife loves the popcorn shrimp served at Popeyes, so when we're passing through Brockville we'll, stop in. The last two times, they were out of shrimp, so we were happy to get her some on this trip.

Staff were fantastic, restaurant & washrooms impeccably clean. Didnt like fries, chicken was good

What can I say? Best takeout fried chicken I’ve had. Especially love that they have a spicy version. Not a big fan of the fries, but the onion rings are decent!

We ordered our food and was told that it would take 10 minutes as they would prepare a fresh batch of mild chicken. We sat down and relaxed during this time. There was a group of men in the corner of the restaurant that were annoying loud. The staff brought us our food which was delicious. This was the first time I brought my significant other to try this food.

Server came out of washroom. Didn't wash hands. Threw a chip that was sitting on the counter back into the chips. Discusting!
We just walked out.

Good service and fast, very clean and professional.
One word of advice, if you want white meat with your combo, you have to ask them beforehand, otherwise it will all be brown meat.
I did not know as this wasn't written anywhere!
But the cashier was nice enough she gave me an extra piece. So be nice about it!

This is the best chicken place in town. Great food and but not so good service. The staff are very friendly but slow in getting orders out. The food is well priced and you get what you pay for. I usually attend on my own but it has a great family atmosphere as well.

I usually order the chicken special for the day but the overall menu and the food is very good at this restaurant. I like the other selections on the menu too, one of my favorites being the coleslaw.

This place is for cheap folk who love greesy food. The restaurant atmosphere is pretty good. They allow you to get free pop refills. There is plenty of parking here and it's free.

I really enjoy this restaurant I hope you enjoy it too.

Probably the closest Popeyes to Quebec, cashier was the nicest I have ever seen working for minimum wage, and the chicken was crispy and juicy. Highly recommend the Cajun fries and the mashed potatoes

Sometimes the tenders seem ever so slightly undercooked, but I haven't gotten sick and they're delicious

Do not order the chicken sandwich if you don't like fish. Dont buy the Chicken sandwiches in the same oil they deep fry their Seafood. My chicken sandwich tastes like a fish fillet from McDonald's. Also very not friendly or Pleasant people who work the counter and the window. I ordered a four-piece dinner I received three legs add a rib which was so dry what are used 3 soul my boot. For my side I ordered coleslaw which tastes more like tartar sauce with Pickles in it.

Changing my review because the last couple times we've ordered the wait has been insane. Tonight I ordered on the app at 5: 39. My wife went to pick it up and didn't leave until 6: 49. That long for supposed fast food! Then she gets home and we're missing part of our order. Absolutely unacceptable. And your drive thru speaker still sucks.

Same bs every time I come here. Two or three girls staring at me while I'm the only person in line not taking my order. I had to walk out just now and I'm not coming back until these useless employees are replaced.

Enough of the laziness.

All the girls working there act like they don’t wanna be there. I seen the girl put old fries and new fries in same box. I get 2 hot pieces and 2 cold every time I visit this location! Plus they all are rude and none smile.

Went to the drive thru for the staff to not hear me through the speaker, then they stood there talking to each other, playing with each other’s hair and to have what seemed to be a family reunion, they completely ignore the fact that I was even at the window, 10 mins after trying to get their attention they finally noticed that I was ready to pay, to then be told to wait another 10 mins for my food. I came home to my order being WRONG honestly very very poor customer services! KFC is looking pretty good after this

Took over 25 minutes to get 2 chicken sandwiches and strips.

I had te to go gas my car come back and my wife still had not received our order

It was amazing we tried this location during our trip to Toronto. Clean location and delicious chicken.

Spent almost $50 on a 12 piece family meal. Waited 15 minutes for it, as they had nothing cooked and it was very busy.
Get the "12 piece" meal home, only 8 pieces in the bag. Thanks Popeyes.
Hope someone enjoyed the 4 extra pieces

The chicken is pretty well seasoned compared to other fast food restaurant.
I'm pretty impressed how tasty it was.

Food was excellent! The restaurant was clean and tidy! It has everything it needs to be wheelchair accessible but the activation buttons for the second pair of doors weren't working. So that automatically makes it not accessible. When we entered and wanted to leave the activation buttons We're NOT working to leave so its a real trap. I ate mac and cheese, popcorn shrimp with fries! The food was delicious! The other bummer was I ordered a small sprite and received a large cup of carbonated water. (I don't mind the carbonated water but I was still deceived because its not what I ordered).

If yall fix the doors I'll change my rating to 4 stars. If its not accessible its not open to everyone.

Lets see, nice place good food but staff seem rude and condescending. Waited for several minutes even though they looked at me 3 times without acknowledging me, they then served drive through. I asked for a bottled water from cooler twice, she told me “ I heard you, sir” even though she put a cup and a straw on the counter in front of me. Good food is outweighed by the service. Won’t be back here, thats a shame and I love Popeyes, first problem ever.

Food is amazing but girl working who clean floor and bathroom she closes the washroom and put chairs at 8: 45 something and she don’t let anyone to use washroom. She watch thr customer in bad wayy. Im coming from toronto i take break my girl start crying so we go to osmos to use washroom. Girls wearing the white muffler on head. Worst employee i ever see

Clean, friendly and great food:) Stick with the plain chicken if you do not like spicy:) If you like hot:) you will enjoy the spicy:) Far better quality then KFC

Yeah, not great. I will give it another shot though just to make sure it wasn't a one-time bad experience.

I just recently decided to start eating here. I got tried of the other guys, then saw the sign for Popeye's and that was it. I just order a number 10, chicken sandwich, and number 6, eight chicken nuggets. So I don't have a comment on the rest of their menu. But I have never had a bad visit to this restaurant. So I guess I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is hungry for a change.

I was unfortunate enough to order 3 piece chicken which was seal of the day.it was almost served rotten i will never order again from this location again

The service was good. The fries were great but the spicy chicken burger not so good. Had way too much sauce and had too much bitter taste to it compared to other locations I've tried. Probably because of the excess amount of sauce.

Took 25min to get my order. They had me pull up and wait. I called at 10min asking where my food was.they forgot. 15min later I got it. No apology. Wont return

Although I have never had a bad meal at this location, I find the service rather underwhelming. The music is so loud you can't hear what is being said over drive thru and you have to repeat yourself. Food is always tasty and usually hot.

Fast and delicious drive-through service! The other reviews seemed a bit scary, but all staff we saw were wearing masks and super friendly. Will be back for the chicken sandwich.

I find the staff to be rude. This location advertises delivery. They never answer the phone. And when they do its hit or miss if they are delivering.

Too bad this location gives this chain a bad reputation.

Good food okay service the lady we had was east indian and hard to understand but other then that was alright experience

Had it last night. Took too long to get our order ready and I am also not having a good time today. Been to the washroom multiple times. Will never eat there again.

The food is great. However, my last two times my order was shortchanged. No mashed potatoes the first time and I was short one piece of chicken the second time. As I live a ways away I didn't notice the discrepancies until I got home. Very disappointing.

Very disappointed in the service. We waited 45 minutes while at least 15 people that came after us were served, are their meals and left before we were even served, not to mention how many drive thru customers were served. When we were finally given our order we didn't get any sort of apology for the wait, no explanation, nothing. I realize it was lunchtime on a Saturday but why put us behind every other order? If you are running low on something and you see it's busy then you make more, right? I just hope that wasn't common practice for this place because the food was good but not worth the wait when we have a schedule of our own to keep.

Don't bother. First walk in and it's smoky like someone just put out a fire in the kitchen. Waited forever for a 2 piece order. Fries cold chicken was literally swimming in grease and tasted like fish and Cole slaw tasted like plastic. I was up all night sick to my stomach. Never again.

Third time was the charm for me. First try was close to opening day and waited 40 minutes for a simple order, as did the others in line. Second time the chicken had a fishy odour and I didn't eat it though the fries were fine. Tried again last week and the service was fast and friendly at the drive through and everything was hot and delicious.

Decent quick stop for deliciously spicy/savoury battered chicken.

This location could use better management however. The manager took our order and then proceeded to leave the establishment to go talk to a friend in the parking lot. The girl working at the front was kind but basically just stood there waiting for help from the back, when there was clearly Cajun fries and spicy tenders sitting ready to be served. Food was still decent when she finally served us and she threw in an extra dipping sauce. If not for her, we'd likely given the place 2-3 stars.

10/10 go across the street to swiss chalet.

Took popeyes nearly a half hour to take my order with no line and another hour to fill it which was great considering my lunch break is a half hour.

Literally watched the people across the counter move damned near in reverse at lunch hour with nothing prepared in advance.

Shame too because the Kingston location has always been top notch on their service and food and I quite enjoy popeyes chicken.

Brockville locations food I'd probably have been better off drinking the sludge out of their back dumpster while it was on fire with a silly straw.

No overall impressed. Fast service but asked for something they were promoting, got told we dont carry that any more. I said its on your sign, " head office has not fixed that that yet". Food was ok but not very hot, lukewarm at best.

Love me some Popeyes, drove 2 hours to get some on a Tuesday night because there are still none in Quebec.

Food is delicious, however have had a couple issues with orders going through drive thru since it opened.

Terrible service at this location. Was waiting for a 4 piece platter after 35 minutes waiting someone at the counter announced it’ll be another 10 minutes before chicken is ready. That would’ve been 45 minute wait for a 4 piece platter. I asked & got my money back, went to KFC & got a 4 piece meal in less than 2 minutes from when I ordered. 45 minutes wait in my opinion is absolutely terrible service!

Tried twice.first time was ok but not great. Went again tonight. Food was sub par, service was slow. 3 piece meal was 2 drumsticks and something with no meat on it.
Had to wait for 10 minutes because they didnt have spicy so the fries and sandwich were cold. Stuff smelled like it was cooked with fish.
I, m not a kentucky fan but I think its better.
I cant see going back.
