Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I've been waiting so long to taste Popeyes' chicken and was so disappointed. Ordered 2 piece meal and discovered that the chicken had absolutely no flavor. It was like eating breaded cornflake chicken. No spices or flavor. The poutine fries was very tasty. Their gravy had an extra spunk to it.

Sorry to admit it was my first and last time.

I just ordered a spicy 4 piece combo, was told it would take 13 minutes to be ready, picked it up and found it to be regular. Another order wrong. 3 in a row. I guess I wouldn't have had to wait 13 minutes for regular chicken? Service is mildly better than before but to get my chicken order completely wrong when having to wait 13 minutes. I will try Mary Brown on bank and see if they can get my order right.

Its a popeyes… like you already know. Its the definition of fast food. Brought some friends with me who have never went to popeyes and they all told me they find the place dirty and disgusting, especially the back of the kitchen.

Absolutely horrible service, the chicken was cold, and there was shockingly hair on the chicken. STAY AWAY.

I found the manager "Latif" to be rude and very stingy.also, I noticed something very special about this place. They have signs everywhere on the front counter saying "we don't have chicken breasts". Seriously? ! Lol Where did you hide them? Did you contract with a vendor who would only supply breastless chicken? !

This location never fails to not fail me. I often crave Popeyes like many stoned and dazed chicken lover. But when I pay for 3 piece chicken combo. I expect at least 3 pieces. I received 2. Well that's sucks. But at least I love me some chicken. Oh my God it's spicy. IF U ASK ME IF I WANT SPICY OR PLAIN AND I SAY PLAIN I EXPECT PLAIN. But no. Did I receive mild chicken? No u received pain chicken. Popeyes stop hiring such bad employees, I miss u Popeyes. I miss you.

The poutine was good, but it is advertised as $3.99, and they charge you more than $6 for it. Taxes are too high.

Players only come with dark meat and cannot be substituted with white for price difference. Also no more chocolate pies. Just not what it used to be. This was the last time I'll ever eat there

So apparently if you order yourself a 3 piece combo or platter you do not get any white meat. They will argue with you that the white meat is the small chicken wing. Do not have that issue at other locations

Doesn’t even warrant one star. Gross. How people think this is good food in any way shape or form is beyond me. Listen to the other reviews people! I didn’t. And I’m sorry I didn’t. Waste of money. It’s all going in the garbage. Where it belongs.

This popeyes location never disappoints - the manager is mostly in and makes sure everything is running smoothly. Tried the ghost pepper wings today and enjoyed them so much. Super fresh, crispy and just the right amount of heat. Highly recommend!

Customer relation skills here are continually lacking. Teaching the new staff is something one should do in training as opposed to making the customer wait while taking 5 times longer than transaction should take. At least pardon yourself, instead of disrepecting your patron like they are unimportant.

Food was good. Service was good. All round seamless interaction. However, the chicken in my chicken mini tasted like fish. So they are frying it all in the same fryer and I would not recommend for a pescatarian.

I am writing this as I have visited this store 5 times and had same experience.
I really like popeyes, but this store has TERRIBLE customer service! I feel so angry whenever i walk into this particular store, because the staff is RUDE, has a terrible 'Know-it-all-attitude', and actually deals differently from the other great popeyes locations (Glebe, Neapean branches)

Cashier or whoever that is rolled her eyes at me because I asked if she had added the sauce! REALLY? They talk in hindi (female Manager included) and laugh when customer asks something! Funny. I always get the survey and have dealt with managers at other branches for the survey, here they simply had their own and refused to listen to me.

Plain disgusting, saw the manager make up nonsense to have the only 3 black fellas in the store wait outside in the cold. He actually claimed theres only 10 allowed in the store and when we counted there were less people in the store then he just snapped and said everyone from here has to leave which were only the black guys, at that point we had seen enough at this point and spoke up have him storm off and abuse another employee even forcing him to stand outside in the freezing cold without a jacket

Oh my God! That sanwhich is incredible, $10 meal better that most fancy restaurants, please come to quebec!

Dont expect to find everything but they have most necessities

Always order the same family meal, you get a little bit of everything, it's a hit and miss with the portions of fries and macaroni, sometimes it truly feeds a family of 4 but most times it will feed only 2 but still a great place to eat for the value.

Best chicken as far as fast food goes, I'll never eat at KFCs again.
The quality of chicken just far out ways the quality, two thumbs up for Popeyes Chicken.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is located in Heron Gate Square on 1739 Walkley Road. It is a popular fast food fried chicken resturaunt that is much better than KFC. However, it is no where near as good as what you would find in a little fried chicken resturaunt in the Southern States. I normally get their 2 piece spicy chicken breast with beans combo. The chicken pieces tend to vary in size quite a bit and I feel lucky if I get bigger size breasts with my meal. Try a spicy combo from Popeyes, you will like it.

Racist manage tried to kick out three minorities claiming there could only be 10 people in the store and looked like a complete full when the tally showed there wasn't 10 people in the store, then instead of owning up he literally says for all the minorities to leave, when the rest of us weren't having it he stormed off and abused the hell out of a young employee and made him stand outside to ensure the count on one of the coldest days without a jacket, seriously disgusting

Honestly I love popeyes chicken, it’s unfortunate we don’t have in Montreal. I get some whenever I go to Ottawa. It’s very crispy and yummy! You can’t go wrong with fried chicken, they also always have good family meal deals. I’m not a fan of the nuggets though, the tenders are not bad (sometimes I really enjoy them) but I love their chicken and my favourite side is the mashed potato (it comes with gravy on top).

Terrible. The wait time is 20 minutes minimun. They confused my order and forgot my salad. Staff not too friendly. And expensive. No way I am going back

Probably the best Popeyes in Ottawa. It's a busy location so the food is always hot and fresh. There is a wait sometimes, but that's why the food is always fresh!

Had rotten chicken, even though they did compensate but my child ate it, and you would not believe the compensation was 2 super dry chicken pieces like they were force to give it.very disappointed at them.and I've been a customer for many years

Most unprofessionalism I have witnessed in over two decades eatting fast food. They rip people off left right and center. They lie to your face, steal your money and don't answer the phone when you catch them. Not by cashier's. The management. Especially the one in glasses with brown hair. WATCH out.

The manager didn’t wear mask. Same as all the staffs. They didn’t follow the guest limit instruction too. I will never come back to this Location.

The food was meh. But the main reason for the poor review is the complete lack of enforcement of social distancing. Shortly after we ordered, fifteen to twenty young men came in, all bunched together. Many were either wearing masks improperly or not at all. Management's response? Open another till.

Started as a great place but slowly the food got bad. I used to hate KFC and prefer Popeyes. No I prefer KFC. The food is pricy and not worth it. I do not recommend
