I tried ordering the new chicken wings via UberEats. The restaurant accepted my order and was taking forever to prepare it, which seemed odd for a fast-food chain. My husband went inside the store eventually to confirm and was told they don’t have chicken wings. At that point, the store had indicated the order was “ready” via the app. They offered an alternative but would not refund it. I had to contact Uber directly to ask them to cancel the order.

What a joke.

Food was so good especially the service. My server usman was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will recommend this store any time

I should have read the recent reviews before heading here - they basically gave me a different piece than what was specified in the 3 piece i ordered, and they tried to sneak it in, but i've learnt to check my order before leaving When i called it out, they asked, oh you want the wing well we don't have any. The girl at the cash was very nice, it's not on her. I was standing right there, if they turned around and asked me, I would have accepted something different, instead of trying to just sneak it in. They ended up giving me a wing in mild after i asked, the person fulfilling the order just threw it in there, no acknowledgment or apology. Dishonesty never prevails, go somewhere else folks. These restos acting like they doing you a favour don't deserve your business

I asked for fresh chicken tenders, he stilp gave me from the stored container, It was very bad in taste, not expected this kind service

Bad customer service, The food is not good, and the staff is really rude they don’t know how to respect their customer.food is always old never fresh. Also the manager jibin is rude he does not know how to handle work.

Horrible service, I called at 9: 24pm to order a 5pc because I knew they wouldn't make it when I got there in 20 mins. The woman told me to come in. Then of course they wouldn't make it and are out. Waste of time location. Zero service skills.

I wish I could 1 star! Terrible customer service. Placed a pick up 20 mins ago get served with fresh food. Once I arrived on place I was notified it will take another 20 for fresh chicken. No sorry no apologies.anyways I’m not give you guys my business again

This location used to be better comparatively. Today we had a family deal and was a total waste of money, oil was dripping down from the chicken, and the onion rings were awful. Disappointed.

I went at 6: 50 just to get 8 nuggets and it took 30 minutes. The tall Girl cashier was very rude and said to go to another store if you want faster service.

I was there on Tuesday night at 6: 30 pm. Girl at cash told me they don’t have spicy chicken. I asked how long is the wait. She goes we are not cooking spicy chicken tonight as we are not busy. Also, the regular chicken store was serving was on a tray on the counter (like the store is closing soon and getting cold as not under heat lamp) I asked the cashier it’s only 6: 30 are you guys closing soon. She goes no we will close at midnight. Unacceptable Popeyes.can’t do that. Wake up guys you are loosing business. I saw 3 customers walking out as there was no spicy chicken. I hope this is a wake up call for you guys.

I just bought a 10 piece family meal but when we got home, there were only 9 pieces of chicken in the box. Please do your job properly next time. With prices soaring for everything these days, the least you can do is to make sure we get what we paid for.

Expect a 15 minute wait regardless of if it is busy or not. Have never been to a Popeyes with a wait this long. Always seems like there is a "new" frycook that is causing it to take longer, been this way since the renovation sometime in 2022.

Usman was incredibly helpful and polite.the location was also really neat and we received our order promptly.

Asked for a sandwich with no pickles, got the wrong one with pickles. They went to the back and took the pickles off and gave me the sandwich like nothing happened. Asked for rippin chicken, the chef put it in the fryer and left, they gave us a burnt piece of chicken.

The women training the new employees needs to be replaced she doesn't seem to comprehend or know how to work the register and this wasn't the first time this happened

They reopen last week and today had to wait 40min to get a meal for 2 people! All they said we will give you 1 free brisket. Hire more people to help you guys out.

Food was great as usual, was very surprised at how efficiently the staff were working, considering it was a Friday during rush hour. Mariyam was extremely friendly and helpful in working around any dietary restrictions. Overall excellent experience!

Ordered online at 7pm for pickup at 740. I still haven't received my order and it is now 830pm.
They are very poorly managed. I kept asking for updates and they were off about the timing multiple times. If this was going to take this long, I would of cancelled and moved on.
Get a new management in.

So you’ve been “temporary closed” for almost 2 weeks. You guys have plans to re open back up anytime soon or no?

I decided to do a mobile order. There were three people in line and I went to the mobile pick up area. The staff didn't acknowledge that I was there and I thought they were working on my order. After all the customers ordered, and some even got their food (over 10 mins wait), I decided to ask if my order was ready. That's when they got the receipt and started working on it. I thought the whole point of a mobile order was getting your food faster but it was slower than waiting in line and ordering. I asked them if that's the case (I was genuinely curious) and the answer I got was "don't bother if it's rush hour, we prioritize the customers in store". The answer did surprise me but at least they were honest lol. But really, they didn't even start after the other customers, they started after I decided to ask where my order was. I spent close to 30 mins from ordering to pick up for popcorn shrimp and a sandwich.

I am a regular customer here and I must say the food and service is great compared to many other locations. I come every Tuesday and my favourite employee Mariyam is usually the one who takes great care of my order every time with a big smile

Wow where do I start. I took my cousin from UK who wanted to try it and it was the most brutal experience ever. First and foremost how do you run out of every side possible, except for onion rings and cold slaw? No fries, really. And then when we put our order, it literally took them an hour. When I went to ask why it's still not done, they decided to fry the chicken then. To top it off, my cousin ended up getting food poisoning. Great job Popeyes!

My name is Dave I made an Uber eats order today around 3pm. I made an order wanting a 5 wings combo. I only got 1 actual wing with the rest being tiny little chickens. Last time I ordered in the past they just gave me 5 tiny chickens. This lets me know they’re doing this on purpose. They are trying to finesse people that orders through Uber. I don’t believe they’d have done this if I went in person. This makes me never wanna buy from them again! This is not okay. I am furious. Only 1 actual wing was given that’s it!

Chicken is very good, store pretty clean and plenty of free parking but.

We order take out from here once in a while and usually the quality of service and chicken is really good. The cashiers are polite and efficient with the ordering process. No issues there, one of our favorite fried chicken places in the area for sure.

However, on our last visit the shift supervisor or manager behind the counter was being somewhat bossy with a few customers and staff, maybe she was having a bad day, but it was a bit cringey to witness.

Then as we were waiting for our food, I saw her cheap out on the amount of fries in my poutine, it was really weird. She had the poutine container in her hand and she looked down and noticed there were only 6 or so fries left under the heat lamp, then paused, then looked over at me (but I quickly diverted my gaze so she didn't notice me looking) and then she put the 6 or so fries in the container and quickly added the curds, gravy and closed the lid. So it was 6 or 7 fries in a half bowl of gravy and cheese. I was thinking, what just happened here? Is that really going to be my poutine?

So a moment later, when we received the order I opened “the poutine” and showed her the state of affairs, and asked if she could add more fries. At first, it seemed she was going to argue about it, but the other customers and staff also noticed how ridiculous “the poutine” was, so she reluctantly accepted my request and filled the container with the new fries which had just come out of the fryer. Well anyways it was bizarre, and I’m glad I noticed and didn’t wait until I got home.

So other than that situation this Popeyes location is pretty good as mentioned above. I would recommend it but just keep your eye on your fries!

Overall experience was good. Taste and quality was consistent with other locations. Service was a little slow, they seemed understaffed for a Friday night. Regardless, it was a nice cheat meal.

I was ordering my food with lady, she is abusive with driver. Very bad customer service. Please do the needful.

Quality and service has been declining from past few months. Ajax location they always run out of Louisiana hot sauce and Ketch up.
Today I order 5 piece combo Spicy chicken at Pickering location, they gave me regular one not even mild. When I called they debated the order was the right one. That’s not good.

My parents live about 30 minutes away from this location and this is the closest location to them. We have ordered from here multiple times and there have been mistakes in the order, but this last time was absolutely ridiculous. The only reason I put two stars is because it was a Friday evening and I understand that those are the busiest times, but even then, the service was ridiculous.

We ordered 4 spicy chicken sandwiches, 1 plain chicken sandwich, a box of 8 mixed drumsticks, a large fries and a large coleslaw, coming to a total of $70. When my dad went to pick up the order, he asked the lady if she was sure everything was done right, she assured him that it was. When he brought it home, we found that there were only 3 sandwiches instead of the 5 and a medium coleslaw instead of the large. We were very hungry, so after taking a few photos of the order as evidence, we started eating.

I called the location right away and informed them of the mistake. The lady on the phone could barely hear me over the noise on her end and literally had me yelling at her so she could understand what I was saying (how about trying to go to a quieter place?). Once I explained everything to her, instead of taking responsibility or trying to compensate for the inconvenience in anyway, she asked her manager about the order and told me that the order was completed correctly and there was nothing wrong with it. Excuse me? What happened to "the customer is always right"? And why would I lie to begin with? We were just trying to have dinner as a family!

First, she told me to send someone back with everything we were given so they could make sure they had made a mistake and replace the items, but I told her this wasn't possible because the family was hungry and they had started eating. After quite a bit of back and forth and being put on hold multiple times, she told me to send someone to pick up the remaining items. My dad went back and picked up the items. No compensation or apologies were given. He had spent 2 hours on the road at this point because of their incompetency.

A better response would have been to apologize, promise to replace the items, and a monetary compensation for the inconvenience or an extra side or a discount for the next purchase or LITERALLY ANYTHING to show that they care, but unfortunately, the team does not know how to deal with maintaining a good relationship with customers. We are very disappointed with the service we received. The food was also not great. The sandwiches barely had any sauce and had weirdly shaped chicken patties that were too small or too large.

Next time, we will be opting for Mary Brown's. You just lost a huge customer.

I have been to Popeyes a couple of times in the past couple of weeks. I do like the place.

The only consolation is the chicken needs to be done more. A couple of times I was dining in and I had to take the chicken back to the counter and request another few pieces. Reason the ones I had were red inside.

The worst customer service, watch out when you order they tend to rip you off on chicken often giving the wrong pieces. The lady is very sneaky I tell ya.

Very bad service, ordered 2 pieces chicken breast / ribs having it just come out the girl at the front refused to give it not knowing I can understand her speaking in Urdu and telling other members to say we don’t have it

It look over 30 minutes to make a chicken sandwich? I will never ever step foot at any Popeyes again as long as I’m alive. Your company is a fast food joint! Act like one.

This is my first post ever because I hate reviewing in jeopardy of contributing to the failure of a business. I placed an order through Uber eats for pickup. It took them nearly 35 minutes to complete the order. 20 of those minutes I stood there waiting. They had completed my partial order upon arrival (2 sandwiches). It took 20 minutes to complete the other two. It seemed like they were making one sandwich at a time. A walkin customer came in and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and nuggets I believe, they decided to take one of my sandwiches, which is sitting there waiting the remainder order to be completed and gave it to the lady. So now they have to make me a new one after it’s been about 10minutes of me standing there. After 15 minutes I got irritated and inquired about my order for a third time with some anger. They rushed the last sandwich and sent me off. Food was good.

Not sure if this was because I used a promo on Uber eats when ordering but there understanding of 1st come 1 serve is clueless. Ownership should understand if they
Operate a business, do it fairly.

The 5 piece spicey chicken tenders are 5 star.
The red rice and beans are 5 star.
That's all I've ever eaten from Popeyes.
Stick with this and your gonna be ok.

Overall cleanliness and staff behaviour is good. However, i bought a spicy chicken sandwich and chicken patty inside was old and uncooked. Even very harder for me to chew. Need to fix this.

Popeyes chicken is awesome! I really enjoy their spicy chicken sandwiches and their biscuits. The service here is food and the prices are quite reasonable. Lots of parking in the parking lot.

I ordered in store, wasn’t busy.customer service was good. But the popcorn shrimps were not deveined. Had to throw them away.

Quality has been declining over the past few months. If your meal is ready in the less than 5 mins, it’s been sitting there for an hour or more. It’s really disappointing when there is a major $$$ premium on anything that isn’t the daily special.

Very bad service.i ordered 5 wings from uber eats and it was the worse wings i ever had. The wings look fresh but i see the blood coming off from wings and this happened with me before too.worse quality of food.even though i talked to girl (shift supervisor) before the same thing.

Of all the Popeyes locations in Pickering and Ajax, this is the absolute worst. They do not take direction well. We asked for them to not over cook our seafood.it was the driest shrimp and fish ever. Not edible by any means. A lady was mopping in the middle of a dinner rush and yelling at customers for stepping in the area that was just mopped. They wanted everyone on one side of the restaurant in the middle of a pandemic without social distancing so she wouldn’t have to mop again. It was just a nightmare. I will never step foot in that location, nor will I be doing any kind of business with Popeyes for a while. I know that means nothing to them and we are just one family.but the way you treat people goes a long way. It was just such a mess.

Their burger definitely had some issue, may be chicken was rotten or it wasn't kept properly, myself and my wife got stomach problem, had previously few times from this location and it was all fine

I was craving some Popeyes as I hadn't had it in a long time. Well, I waited more than 15mins for 6 cold and small onion rings.if you can call them onion rings. My chicken sandwich was also cold and made with ONE piece of lettuce that wasn't even on the sandwich. Lastly, didnt even get a dipping sauce that I paid for. I used to be a huge popeyes fan. Disappointment.

They are too slow. I had to literally wait for 25 minutes for my order. Employees seem to be confused with the orders. I kindly request the manager to give proper training to employees. As far as I noticed, there were only three persons doing all the stuff. Either hire more staff or make your people work fast. Watch out before going here!

Wait times are usually long so I suggest ordering over the phone few minutes beforehand for convenience. Great quality chicken though!

The best location. I live in Ajax but prefer to go to this location over the other two locations in Ajax. Highly recommend. Staff is wonderful and the order is always made right. Also, the restaurant is always clean and has a lively feel unlike some of the other Popeyes I've been to.

The food served isn’t fresh.my mother and I got a 2 piece spicy combo; good thing we looked at what served in the box before leaving. The food served here is not fresh. Overly greasy as they have to refry what they didn’t sell from last night. No reason why they don’t have a Green done safe pass on their door front.

They’re fast with their service very nice, The older gentlemen that serves at the counter seems he’s the manager or owner but he’s kind and very professional. The chicken was well cooked. The cook knows how to do chicken right

I'm very surprised at how bland the food is at this location. The Cajun fries were barely seasoned, and hardly had any flavor. Go to a location in Scarborough if you want the authentic taste that Popeyes should have.

I ordered a 3 piece special today. The quality of the food was mediocre and everything from the table tops to the ketchup packets were sticky. The staff, however, was very friendly and kind.
My suggestion is that the owner works on bettering the quality of the food. The chicken I received was dry and unappetizing. I'm not usually a picky person but is it too much to get what you payed for?

Ordered 5 piece spicy tender combo, got undercooked chicken in my order. Was pink and chewy, and then when I came back I got more chicken placed in my meal box. Was I supposed to smell the difference between the cooked and uncooked meat that I now had? Never returning, and a waste of my lunch time.

I USED to like this location. Good quality food, fast & friendly service and accurate orders.

Recently, I keep getting mild instead of spicy chicken, despite specifically asking for all spicy pieces. Also, food quality is not as good as before. I often get pieces that look like they've been sitting around all day but they INSIST everything came out of the fryer just minutes ago. If that is true, they are frying up yesterday's left overs.

Seems like they don't care about your order and expect you to just suck it up and take what you get! I don't plan to come here again. If rather drive 2km to the next location and get good food and good service.

This guy name Rashid acting as a supervisor is sooo disrespectful to the customers and especially to the women. We had a really horrible experience at this place only because of this one person. Never going back there again. Popyese’s should teach him some customers skills before hiring him

I ordered three piece tender combo and the size of the tenders were very small and were poorly cooked. Because of my experience I will not be visiting this popeyes location.

The staff were so friendly to me and my son. We were so tired and hungry that day. They treated us well and we were given smiles as I was having a challenging day. Thanks for the pie and the chicken that filled my son’s starving belly.

Time after time missing items when ordering delivery and have to fight to make order right constantly passing the buck. If you want to get angry and frustrated with your orders go here. There's one just up the street where they know how to do there job.
