Staff at this location like to leave early before operation closing hours. Walked all the way in the cold to the location to be told with over 30 minutes remaining that they won’t be making more food. Should advertise an early close if this is the case.

I only write this review because although the service was excellent, the red beans and rice were inedible. It was effectively a cup of white rice with a tablespoon of red beans in the bottom. This is normally one of my favourite sides at Popeyes and to think they’d serve that to a customer was beyond. I’ve had them before at that location and it was an entirely different dish. Whoever let that get served was banking on a customer that wouldn’t complain, because it was not their usual standard of product quality.

Pagie the cook is super amazing food always crispy and hot the staff their are too amazing I love their customer service

Food was served pretty quickly, was extremely filling and they even changed my drink because it was too sweet to have. Will definitely come back here!

Staff ignored myself and one other while talking to a friend that had stopped in, was told they couldn’t make anything but seafood or fries even though it was 45 minutes before closing. Terrible customer service all around.

Worst popeyes ever. Always cancels my uber order. Just made an order and they didnt include both drinks that i had paid for. This place is a joke and whoever works here is incredibly incapable.

Food was ok but service is horrible. You have to wait for the food yet it's not hot when you get it. The girl serving at the counter was not friendly at all and really rude to the lady that was in front of me. I work downtown and this place is very convenient for me, but I won't be going to that location again.

I ordered two pieces of spicy chicken by the time I got home the chicken was burnt I called the store and it seamed they don’t care, and they hanged up I will never come to this location again very bad service, and a wast off money this is very sad and heartless people never come here I’m sticking with KFC there much better.

I have been eating Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen for many many years and will continue loving it. This review is only for this location "11 King St. W, Hamilton".
The food I got in this place on last Saturday, 4th Mar was worse in quantity. It was dry and completely test less. Also, It took more that 30 minutes to serve (the chicken breast was not ready).

It’s like everytime I go there they have a new rotation of employees that have never made a sandwich in their lives.

I've been going here for over a year now,
The Staff always have a attitude and are rude.
There always on there phone or eating.
If you come here after 6 the wait for anything could be up to 30 minutes.
And I mean as a English-speaking person I have had more language barrier issues here than anywhere else

Ordered at 341pm now irs 404pm they are all sitting and eating and I am watching them eat and I still don't have my food. NEVET AGAIN COMING HERE. QUIK CHIK WAY BETTER

My kids And I visited and the cashier and the person serving food was so rude they need proper sanitization in that place my daughter and I got food poisoning never me again to popeyes

Food was good, atmosphere left a lot to be desired but it was late so it's fair that everyone may have been tired.

Horrid. Ordered online and they apparently never received it.

This is something that might happen but as a restaurant you have to do your best when something unexpected happens.

I called when I arrived to ask if it was ready and received the worst customer service as a response, got hung up on twice even when I was speaking to them kindly.

I was in a rush having had ordered 20 mins prior to pick up, and was told I had to wait for the supervisor to call me back before they hung up on me the first time. When I called back they said to come in and they will try to figure things.
What is there to figure out? Make me my food or let me know you can’t?

I asked if I could just have a time to pick up and they said come inside and “we will do our best”. Here I was cut off mid sentence with the second Hang up in 5 minutes. I wasn’t going to look for and pay for parking while they figured out something as basic as this. Will be getting in touch with higher management for a refund. Currently without food and $42 short!

It seems the quality and the size has gone down. $7 for an 8 pc nugget.and that too ridiculously sized and re-fried… I guess inflation will take a toll on our health too.very disappointed.

Longest wait. Ever. Waited for my chicken sandwich for 20 min and everyone after me get theirs. I kept asking and the girl was super rude. Didn’t even apologize. Way to live up to the Popeyes bad customer service reputation.

Got 5 pieces of chicken. 3/5 tasted like they were from yesterday and reheated. Somehow still took 15 minutes to get my order.

Best fast food and also deals in Hamilton king street and the owner (punjabi guy) so cool.

I do not recommend this place at all. I'd rather starve than to go here.
Not a friendly staff.

None of the drinks were full.i just call that lazy and bad service.but that isn’t the worst of it.food took forever to be made just to get mild chicken when i ordered spicy.but that ain’t even it there was a whole black hair at the bottom of my potatoes! I ate almost all of it just to find out it was grossly handled! So disappointed i love popeyes.

Incompetent careless employees. Every single time I order thru uber eats there is always missing or wrong items. Worst popeyes, I would not recommend.

The chicken combo I order here was pathetic.
The chicken was so horrible in the inside and smell weird.

Served raw chicken. Bit into it and it was cold. Broke 2 more pieces and it’s still fleshy. Drove back with the chicken but since I bought it online, they refused to credit back nor replace the chicken. They insisted that it’s timed therefore it’s cooked.

The chicken and biscuits are the best. Workers are fast and place is very clean considering it’s in downtown hamilton

If you want a great location - Barton St or Queenston. We experienced here once before. The chicken was overcooked and like eating paper. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered there again. Same thing. This time they gave us only half our order. No sides, except an onion ring (and we ordered double sides for each) & no pop. The onion rings were SO incredibly overcooked they crumbled into dust or you couldn't even bite into them. The onions were gone. No dipping sauces either. I gave two stars because again, benefit of the doubt.maybe its because it was later in the shift near closing. Also, tried a poutine from there the last time and it was not bad.

Ordered online. Food was not ready for pick up. I placed the order around 1220 PM and picked the time 105 PM.
Mac and cheese tasted sour. Why does it taste sour?
Also during the lunch rush, why only have one person in the kitchen cooking and three up front? That doesn't make sense.

My son and I go here quite often. The employees are very friendly and have patience when taking someone's order. They always try to help make my orders cheaper.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Biscuit was stale, ordered 3 chicken tender meal with Cajun poutine, the chicken tenders were so small they could be chicken nuggets and tasted like they have been sitting for an hour, and only 3 cheese curds on the poutine. With inflation you’d think the employees would understand and actually make food properly when people are using their hard earned money on it. The owner of this establishment needs to pay their employees better or start cracking down on protocol.

The employees try their best with the very tough location. Constantly dealing with problem and homeless persons, they try their best to serve quickly. Food is par and expected out of fried chicken.
