Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

They say they are open till 1am but you rock in at 11: 30pm and they've basically stopped selling everything besides fries and soggy leftover chicken

They gave me the incorrect order even after I paid a surcharge to upgrade. And the wait time was outrageous.

Chicken good, Mac n cheese bad, service good and clean tables. I put 3 star for food cause chicken 5/5 and mac n cheese 1/5

Waited 30 minutes in line. Ordered 5 pc tender combo. Order took another 30 minutes to complete. When I got home there was only 3 pc tenders. Horrible customer service

I used to visit this place on and off, to be honest this place os worst in terms of cleanliness. Their drinks dispenser remained out of order for at least a month and was also not working last night but they do not care and serve warm drinks. The building AC was not working when I visited night so they opened door. In this hot humid environment small bees were flying all over including mosquitoes. There is a big swelling on my cheek as i did not notice that one bit me. Popeyes should look at the hygiene issues of their business partners.

This has to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had at Popeye’s. Place looks like it needs a deep cleaning and finally fix the drink fountain. One at Brock and Taunton is way better.

The store really needs a good deep clean. Everything looks dirty. The staff was very nice though and the food still tastes good. It's just unappealing to the eye to think that things might be dirty in the kitchen because the customer area looks so grungy.

Very poor customer service, my 3rd time getting rotten chicken fr this restaurant and I normally don’t complain but this time the lady going to ask what do I want her to do about. So I told her to taste it or smell it if she would eat that and she said in a vegetarian I’m not eating that

Food was good, just lacks customer service order online just for it to take longer because they didn’t check. Employee morale is very low at the location and store not upkept

I visited last Friday for a quick bite and a place to escape the heat for a couple mins. The dining room was probably 35 degrees and completely empty so I decided to take it home. Food was completely overlooked, probably deep fried twice as it could have been sitting there for hours. The staff must have known this as I had ordered a 3 piece and got 6 peices. I only ate about 1 of those pieces and have suffered FOOD POISONING for the next 3 days. Needless to say I will never be visiting this location again.

Food is always hot and fresh. Worth the extra couple mins of wait time. However, this place is dirty. I came in 20 mins after it opened. All tables and seats and floor were dirty. The place must not have proper ventilation as it's always smoky inside.

More than once now place pre order on website. Get to the store. They have no idea about said PAID pre ordered meal which I still had to wait for.

Mr. Tayyab was excellent in providing a worthwhile customer experience. The food was very fresh and dining area was very clean. I will choose this popeyes over others because the employees seem to really care.

It was as if the chicken was dipped into a tub of salt and then more salt was added on top. I hate wasting food but had to throw out last quarter of the burger because how incredibly high the sodium content was

0 star.unfortunately there isn’t an option for anything below 1 star. Not clean at all. Absolutely disgusting quality chicken. The Oil was dripping out of chicken thigh/legs like squeezing a sponge full of water! Avoid.

When one orders an 8 piece family meal, one doesn't expect 4 drumsticks, a wing, two backs, and one breast piece. Not for the price of a family meal. KFC doesn't do that. At least not in my experience.

I was very disappointed in this Popeyes in Whitby the man and the woman that waited on us could hardly speak English so we had a hard time understanding what was on the menu because the signage above was not working they also didn’t have all the sites available they only had mashed potatoes with gravy and coleslaw and french fries so I will not be going back to that one again I will try the one closer to my home on King Street in Oshawa

I experienced the same issues, as other customers. The menu video boards were completely black and not working. Customer service was non-existant from the glaring cashier and backup cook/henchman.as I tried to politely place an order, where a heavy language barrier was present. I went to use the washroom and it was filthy. This included a heavy and disgusting sink, that was precariously sticking to the wall with a gallon of fresh silicone. This location's walls, seats, tables, floors and signs: all showed various shades of grime. I was hungry, rolled the dice and my chicken burger tasted ok. If I make it through the next couple of days unscathed, I'll go to Vegas.

P. S. Popeye's should have a little pride, and have a Regional Manager deal with this.

I don't need to mention the taste of popyeys. It's always good, but I want to give shoutout to owners of this location.

Great location. This is a very well maintained site. The customer service was top notch and very quick even with a line up. The portions are very generous and well prepared. Even in these crazy times the staff here handled the line up and kept to the new rules. I would recommend this for anyone who is a fan of great fried chicken and wants to ensure that they are at a clean restaurant.

Update: was there today for lunch and the store is still clean as can be and the service is fast and friendly.

Digital menus were not working so ordering was very difficult, we should've taken that as a sign. I had the Buffalo Chicken burger, it was fresh which was nice but tasteless. My husband ordered the daily special which was 3 pieces of chicken. Paid 1.80 upcharge for white meat only. Was given a small breast, a wing and a thigh. Asked to have all white meat and not a wing and a thigh the employee decided to argue that it was white meat only. She even took it out of the box and held it up for the manager to see and said "this is white meat right? " So rude, won't be back. Aside from this the restaurant looks so run down.

Not entirely horrible, but not where it should be for sure. Everything, from the popcorn Shrimp to the Chicken Tenders was super salty. However, the bigger reason for the 2 stars is the service. First, they've got the order wrong because they only know one thing: "combo? ". As soon as you're "out of the script", it's over, you need to repeat everything 3 times. To top it off, not a single sorry or thank you. Will not visit again.

Absolutely terrible experience, ordered tenders and some other stuff and was disappointed that the tenders were so salty, I couldn't eat them, called the store spoke to a creep who claims to be the manager and he said its not their problem since it comes pre-made from head office, asked for his name so that I could get a replacement for something else or refund and the guy said why do I need his name.this store is terrible and lost a customer for life.
