Food was great but bad customer service. Sandra needs to learn customer service and way of talking.

Requested to make fresh nuggets, they said it will take 15 minutes, and after 20 minutes, they give me the one they make 20minutes ago, so that's the business practices now a day's.

Ahmm. I love popeyes. Also i m the member of the popeyes franchise as well. I know well how to take customer order each and everything. Today we ordered pack of 24 nuggets which is coming with 4 dipping sauce. So i told to cashier nd she is the manager and her name is sandra. She charged me for spicy mayo for almost around $2. When i told to her she charged. 35cents for spicy mayo. This is the first and last time i visit there never ever i gonna come back to this store. And i told to my all friends as well about this store. This is all happen due to rude manager and her name is sandra.

I’ve visited this place recently, the service was quick and the staff was nice. Also the place was clean and the food was fresh too

Good customer services but they don’t care about food. Some of the tenders were under size and fries were not crispy due to undercooked.

The chicken wings were not fresh and had terrible smell. The meat was very dark colour. Had a bad experience. Would rather throw the food at their faces than eat it ever again. Will never buy there again

This Popeyes location is very slow, the service staff have quite poor customer service and they almost always get my order wrong. I’m no longer going to this location because of their poor service and professionalism. I recommend you choose a different location too

Popeye's Chicken Nuggets are way better than McDonald's Nuggets and of course their Spicy Fried Chicken is so Tasty, Crispy and Juicy inside. Yummm

Im not a huge fan of fried food but popeyes just hits different, especially with a side of great customer service

My family loves popeyes chicken it's amazing in taste.
Sometimes I give popeyes chicken to my kids in their lunch my kids loved it.must give it a try you won't regret it.you can treat your friends and colleagues.everyone loves it.

The shift manager working night shift on September 19,2021 at 12: 15 am, was very rude and unprofessional.
She disrespected her customers in very-rude behaviour.
As a manager she should know how to talk to customers.
She was talking in her know language even when we were asking her in English language.

I would give her Zero star for her behaviour

Check your order before leaving. Was very specific with my order but as empty and not busy they were at the time, I'm shocked they managed to not get the order correct.

I suppose to give 1 star but giving 2 stars coz the manager apologized and asked me to be combeback for new order. The problem was the food was very very bitter like they never changed oil for days. I felt really bad when my nieces ate half of them without knowing it. I threw the rest in garbage. I had to brush my tongue as well because the bitterness was not going away. Please do change the oul and consider customers health. Thank you

Giving this Popeyes two stars for the following reasons:

The size of their chicken is fairly big compared to other places so it gets 2 stars.

Where it loses 3 stars in my opinion is that twice now, they have given me 1 less chicken than what I ordered. We normally order 6 of their Tuesday special, which is an order of 2 chicken. This is to cover lunch and dinner for the family. Went today (on a Tuesday) and when I got home, we only got 11 chicken in total. At the time I ordered, it wasn't too busy. Not a lot of people there. So I don't think they miscounted due to the frenzy lunch rush. It could be because the staff doesn't care and overworked or they don't know math enough to count properly. Either way this has happened twice now.

Long story short, I am not saying to not go here for your chicken craving. All I am saying is to count your order before leaving to not get scammed.

Severely understaffed at night, ordered a 4 piece with extra sauce and got a 3 piece with no extra sauce. Doesn't really help when there's only 2 workers.

Imagine getting paid doing nothing, just stand around, do nothing and get paid. Awesome job at Popeyes

It used to be the best location, I visit them everyday as my son only eats chicken and fries so I order there kids combo nuggets and fries. For the past few times I noticed that the chicken is very dry. Sometimes it's hard for my son to chew. Last week I tasted the nugget and it was overly salty. Yesterday I went and placed the order and I think this lady Harpreet a new manager I guess packed the food. She gave me little 10 small fries broken up. I counted them when I came in the car. I went inside and bought another small fries and complained as to why I was given less fries as this has never happened before, she says you are only supposed to get 15 fries with kids meal. Other staff members don't follow protocol. Is she trying to tell me that in the past 20 years of me visiting popeyes only she follows protocols? And even if you do lady at least give me the 5 extra fries? Pathetic to say the least. Bring back your old staff please and thank you

Love that all the Popeyes in the GTA are halal. Not sure if it's all of Canada. Great service and food. Took my order on the phone so I didn't have to wait.

I was about to go order. There was an employee around 10 pm smoking outside. He proceeded to get up sneeze his hands and use the same hands to open the door. Felt disgusted and left. Have some sort of cleanliness during times like these.

I've only been to Popeyes two times after really not giving it any thought as to an option. I definitely regret not trying it earlier as both my experiences so far have been wonderful with the staff being extremely friendly and the food being fresh and very tasty! I would never go to KFC or Churches but I will definitely return to these guys as freshness and customer service means a lot to me.

They say its machine slaughtered halal.which doesnt make any sence. Be aware all is haram. There no such thing as machine halal.

Service was friendly. They apologized for taking a little more time, had a big order so didn't mind, wanted fresh.

The coating can be bit much.

A nice place if you are looking for Halal chicken fry in Scarborough. Staffs are nice & I didn’t had to wait for even 5 minute to get my orders ready. I liked their spicy chicken fry & poutine. Price is really affordable & they have daily special menunin reasonably low price than regular. Recommended if you love chicken.

After long time of avoiding Popeyes because it was making me really bad, I can say that is the only one that I can enjoy it without having stomachache and others symptoms. So, I designated it as the only location I'll get it from. I even told my other friends that stoped eating Popeyes to get it from this location. Also, good service from Simer. (Smiling staff).

Ordered one of the new chicken burgers, big let down. The bun was dry, guess coved made them stingy on the sauce, this new burger is nothing compared to there old diamond chicken sandwich, this one has no vegetables like tomatoes or lettuce, the one kind of upside is this sandwich has a bigger chicken patty but due to its bigger size it was partially uncooked.

I ordered 2 Popeyes chicken sandwiches from this place on Uber eats. There’s Popeyes bun looked like it was plastic and there was barely any sauce on my chicken sandwich. I hope they can make there chicken sandwiches look better and more satisfying. I hope they read this. I was not really happy with my experience here.

The New Popeyes sandwich just will never be as good as the old Diamond sandwich, Luckily other halal chains like Yumys still carry it.

Ordered 5pc mild tenders on Jan 23. Chicken were overly salty, the Cajun fries were cold. Diet coke looked like sewage water and tasted really bad. The cashier did not speak English and did not answer your questions such as the choice of sauce but instead told you to look at the menu (?) Very inadequate customer services. Will not recommend this franchise.

Just received my order from this location which was cold and soggy. The fries are oozing oil and so soggy. The chicken sandwich is undercooked. I understand it’s game day and busy, but the food seemed to be sitting on the shelf for a long time. The order wasn’t edible at all. No one answered the phone. I don’t understand why I paid for an order I couldn’t eat.

Worst staff. I have ordered spicy 3 piece, they gave me mild. I said hot sauce, there was no hot sauce.

Chicken smells like fish. Pls take care, i think they fry the chicken and fish in the same oil.

This is the best location in scarborough! Amazing service and the staff is very polite. When ever i go there i always ask them to prepare a new batch for me and they never say no. I think there is a lady there wearing a scarf and she i believe is the manager and she is so polite and welcoming. Keep up the good work

French fries are probably the best in whole town, but you load countless calories if having a whole combo.

Popeye's Cajun chicken is something I enjoy from time to time. This location has a pretty large dining area, so during the pandemic, there is lots of standing room within. Staff and service were okay, but for some reason, it was so slow. I was getting the day's special and waited a ridiculously long time. This was right before lunch time, so I expected faster service. Lots of free parking out front as it's part of a plaza. I don't frequent this location as it was just on the way, so I hope the speed of service I experienced is not the norm here.

Last visit a week ago wasn't pleasant due to an unfriendly female manager. Will take a break from there. Other than that, everything was fine. Ratings will change whenever I go back

Yesterday I bought family meal of 12 peices of fried chicken. They gave me 4 small pieces of leg, 3 wings and 3 small hard peices. It's not worth for the money that I paid. It's not fair. It's like cheating costumers.

The review is for the new chicken sandwich its soo bad. Soo greasy and soo much batter that it made me sick. Nothing wrong with the location or its people but rather the chicken sandwich

Food is not fresh, small portion, they cheated on ad as buy one get one free was not true and charged me normal price. Also food was poisoned as my daughter get sick and throw up with diarrhea. I don’t recommend it this restaurant for s as my one and I will never order any food from them again.

This location now starred to be open and serve untill 4 am, but i went there couple of times with yesterday also around 2.30 am, but cashier said sandwich they ran out of it, Tenders they only have mild. I have the same experience couple of times around same time slot. If they cannot serve cusromer at there working hours then why bother open untill 4 am.

NOT selling HALAL anymore from tomorrow. Called them, picked the call on the 4 th time. Wont be selling halal from tomm thats what she told me. Called 1: 47 am on 14 th sep.

This location used to be the best but within the past year or so they can't seem to get a single order right. They ALWAYS screw up the sauces. Their chicken is old, dry and hard and sits out. Also, their new chicken sandwich is somehow worse than their old one. I give up, I'm not coming here anymore.

We love to go out. Yesterday we found this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We had a delightful evening there with excellent cooking and a professional team and a distinguished chief cook. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall definitely come back soon. We highly recommend.

Asked for non spicy specifically, but end up getting spicy anyway. Chicken sandwich was delicious though.

Date: Jan 30,2020 time: around 9pm. The girl serving at the front in green tshirt was very rude to customers. She was even behaving rudely with her so nice colleagues.

I am giving 4 stars for old management of this location up to year 2019. They were great and knowledgeable with the food and prices when you ordered for delivery. But now we tried ordering 2 weeks ago and there is new management running the store. The associates we spoke to on the phone clearly didn't know the prices of food. They kept putting us on hold for so long to find prices. Now this location seems unorganized and incompetent.

Worst f€~€~€~ place. Staff don’t know how to charge their customer. And giving you small parts because they work like they have a quota.

Placed an order on ubereats and it was showing confirming with restaurant for 10min which is not normal so I called them and the lady picked up was super ignorant simply said i will check for you thanks and hung up. I called back again got answer saying that order didn't come through and that she is super busy right now.but in fact the same time on my phone it shows that restaurant is unable to accept the order. Please turn off your ubereats if you are too busy with in store. Do not waste people's time and act like you don't care.
Don't get me wrong I love popeyes just not this location.

Dry over cooked chicken, cold fries and the most unfriendly staff. The staff spent more time gossiping about other staff then filling the orders.

They sold the meat that was spoiled, rotten, I bought 10 pieces of chicken wings, 12 dollars to feed my children to discover that the chicken here was stinking. Let everyone know, so don't be like me

Love Popeye's. Great price. Great taste. Generous portions. Unlike the other chicken place, I could actually identify the piece of chicken.

Long wait time even though the order is not bulk. Unprofessional staff murmuring in the kitchen when asking about the order.

Their food tastes very much like any other Popeye's you can go to. Going earlier is better than later at night because by then the food gets soggy and the taste isn't there anymore. It just tastes bland. When it becomes really busy, their service really drops in quality. It's understandable they want to serve people as soon as possible but their attitude could really be better
