We went to see Salmons and Trouts on 19 Oct. There were few Salmon swimming up, but still very attractive!

Last Weekend (09/23) we went for Salmon Run at Port Hope! It’s the best time to see Salmon go upstream! There’s a lot of them there and more active!
There’s a lot of parking spots too!
After Salmon Run activity we went to the nearby town, Ganaraska! You can check this little town, they have good vibes, restaurants and small shops! Perfect for Families too! You can take the kids to play in the playground as well!
The best part is, It’s free parking on weekends!

When you love fishing, you will definitely want to see the salmon run @ Port Hope. The season where Salmon runs at Ontario Lake and getting through obstacles while heading into the river. Its good to watch them.

Every autumn I brought kids there to watch salmon return and swim upstream. A very nice place to watch.

The best place to go at the start of Spring and the start of Fall to see the Salmon and trout swim upstream!

I wish the fish had a easier route and as much as I love the ladder. We as humans could make things much better for the rainbow, Steelhead, Salmon Species and Brown trout.
