Port of Call Marina

I'm so disappointed at this place. I was really hoping for a repair shop that offered friendly quality service. But everything went wrong. I was told it would take 1 week to service my boat motor. After 2 weeks I called and they said they hadn't touched it yet. At the 3rd week I called and they said yes it's ready. Why didn't they call to tell me? I get there and they had installed the wrong spark plugs. So I had to go back home and wait a few more days. I called and the guy said "Yeah I think it's done. ". That didn't inspire me with confidence. I did go and it was done. But why didn't they call me? I had asked for a quote on a new prop and it was on the work order but they didn't do it. I had to ask a second time for them to do it.
They broke the drain plug on the boat and they never told me. I'm not upset they broke the drain plug. I'm upset they didn't say anything. Luckily I noticed before going fishing. Also they charge way too much for labor considering the poor quality of service.

They are friendly, got all the services u need, n more, great work qualities, prices are really reasonable, got a question they got the answer or will help u get your answers, it may look like a small marina but let me tell y’a, one of the best Marina I know (ok maybe the only one in her area that got gas, septic, garage n ext) but I am even comparing to up river n down river, n y’a port of call marina n original marina both Ontario side) u are the best in my book picasso are weekender thank you n so do we!

I booked online a 14 foot boat for a day. All the info on the website/reservation was clear. Everything was ready for me the next day. The service was excellent and of course I will go again.

Lady in office took time to take out the area map chart and give us tips. Launching boat a young man took time to offer help and was very helpful, polite and ready to work! We will be back.

Love this place. We have rented pontoons a couple of times. Service is great, very nice people working there. We had a pleasure to meet the owner - he is very nice person. The pontoons are new and we’ll maintained. Booking process is easy. Would recommend anyone.

We rented the 2021 Vectra Pontoon for the day on July 16th, 2022 and were completely satisfied with the high quality and appearance of the boat. It drove like a charm. We were greeted by Joanne who was very friendly and thorough in her instructions. The owner, Mark is very knowledgeable. Port of Call Marina is a pleasant drive from East Ottawa. It only took us 50 minutes to get there. Beautiful scenery along the way. We can't wait to rent a pontoon boat again!

I did rent out a Pontoon and a fishing boat, the experience was very smooth and the staff very friendly and informative. We have enjoyed the experience overall with the family, would definitely come back again.

Port of Call is a great Marina just outside of Ottawa. The boat launch fee is $20 daily. There is now a food truck on site too, with both foot and boat access.

We have enjoyed the boats this year. This sure ups the game on staycations. We have an amazing river and Port of Call offers great service.

Our family just thoroughly enjoyed a day on the Ottawa River thanks to Port of Call Marina! From the moment you arrive and have a complete run through of how to operate the boat as well as all safety protocols to maps to assist with planning your outing.
All questions are answered, life jackets are provided and fitted on children.
At the end of the day there is a staff waiting to assist with safe docking which is most comforting as this may feel a bit intimidating.

Had a fantastic day on the Ottawa River. Port of Call staff were very friendly and informative and took the time to review with us the best places to boat and places to stop and explore. Will be back next year for another fun day on the river.

Port of call makes boating on the Ottawa really easy. We rented the boat for the day. The staff offered great advice of how to have a safe and enjoyable day. We will be back!

Brought in 3000 Maxum for service. The owner and staff, are definitely deserving far above 5 stars. Excellent, on the ball, service, you have to force them to accept a tip. Hahaha. Thank you, so much.

Fantastic food truck at entrance to port is a great plus as you can dock there and grab some delicious food and ice cream!

Only need for improvement is the public washroom but we appreciated having access to a facility.

The staff here is great! They are really helpful and know their stuff. I am a new boat owner and I have been here for launching, parts, and gas. They were great with everything:) fair prices also.

Folks at Port of Call know their stuff. Their seadoo mechanic is very knowledgeable and does great work.

Ok, needs some renovations. Due to bad parking can be tricky getting boat in, if long truck / boat combo

Brought our boat trailer in to get new bearings put on and our new tires professionally and runners replaced! Took a couple of weeks as they noticed the axle was in bad shape! I was so worried we wouldn't have it by the time our camping week as we boat to our site! Whew! 2 days before we leave! Very professional and courteous staff and at a reasonable price! Will definitely recommend them! Only marina open 7 days a week in the Ottawa area may I add also!

We had a very positive experience renting a boat here - the boat was in great condition, the prices fair and the staff were respectful and attentive

Went to see Mark today to have a gimbal bearing on an old Alpha one Mercruiser installed. He took the time to do it right, in a timely manner and, after a little fighting with my old boat, managed to get the bearing lined up well too. Everyone is super friendly and helpful at Port of Call and I can't recommend them enough. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

It is the only place on this stretch or river to get fuel. The staff are always helpful and making boat rescues.

Never docked here but me or somebody always had good luck fishing near here. Lots of bass and a few pike!

First rate knowledgeable repair service from Mark and his team. They went above and beyond to repair a very challenging motor and they were more than fair at billing. Highly recommend them!

Our jetski broke down in Brittania bay today on Canada day of course. Lol. Anyways we got a tow to port of call marina and Mike was very hospitable. They got my jetski out of the water and started analyzing the situation right away. Great customer service. They called us a taxi out of there. Lets hope theres nothing seriously wrong with the jet ski. Its in good hands with with these humble and honest people.
