This town has such an amazing laid back energy. Wish I brought a book to read by the falls. Loved the natural rock formation around the falls.

I love this place I've been going since I was 10. Its basically a natural water slide but you have to be carefull. Only strong swimmers recommended as people have died here during high water levels in spring and after rain storms. When the water level is low younger kids are able to do it. Life jackets recomended.

Great place for visit, difficult to get parking spot as there is no public parking space, its all private property

Looks like the locals have it all figured out. It's like a waterpark courtesy of mother nature. Even little kids are riding tubes down the falls. Good place to sit and sketch some art.

Beautiful area but dangerous near the rapids after the dam. 3 kinds drown 2021. So sad. 2 died. I saw them pull one out. Poor kid.

Nice spot for a sit to watch the waves and time pass. A small gravel parking area is available; turn left at the portapotty and head down the small hill. The falls are peaceful cascades but can flow quite briskly after a rainfall. Lots of space for a picnic by the water. Safe for kids, but keep younger ones back from the smooth rocks closest to the water. The pathway will take you all the way down to the Port Syndey beach area.

Perfect place.perfect scenery. Amazing place to relax and chill with family. Portable bathroom is also available. Falls water was running very fast today so we choose to sit on the side. It has Little Rock sitting environment by nature, which was fantastic. Some rocks are slippery so be careful while walking around the water falls. Overall, this place is very nice for visiting.

We went to enjoy the falls, sitting in the sun while we watched the birds trying to fish below the falls. It was a great place to enjoy lunch.

We've been visiting Huntsville and areas for countless years now and only recently did we discover this little spot. It's actually quite neat and a great way to spend a part of your day relaxing and doing some swimming. Just watch though as you slide down the falls there tends to be lots of little leeches lol. It's a nice somewhat hidden little area that's not too busy but is apparently well known.

What an awesome little place to experience the power of nature. Be sure to be respectful of the residents in the area.

Beautiful park built around a natural waterside. Please be smart and wear a life jacket and have fun.

While not large, this is the most scenic spot I went to on my trip to Huntsville! Even kind of more so vs. Arrowhead (although that is a better day trip). When I came, there were 0 people around. I actually had just parked off the side of the road as there is no parking available. It actually may be on private property (really unsure and didn't check) so be careful.

Looks like you could have some fun here, but after the rains we've had the falls were running pretty fast. Looked a little dangerous.

One of the many reasons I love living here. Such a beautiful area, and a great lake for swimming, kayaking, and more.

A great hidden gem of Port Sydney. Lots of room for visitors and tons of water space to play in. Nice and close to other great stops Jamieson's General Store, Marty's Lakeside Grill.

The rapids at Port Sydney on the Muskoka River are a great scenic spot for a stroll and * sometimes a swim.

* The month of July 2021 has had high water levels and a couple of tragic drowning deaths. USE CAUTION and don't swim at high water levels

Natural water slides! Can easily stay a whole day here exploring the area and playing in the water. Loved checking out the General store and Consignment store nearby. The water was fast moving and dangerous today after heavy rains so we played on the side where the current is gentler. Excited to return one day and play in the water when it is safer for us. Adults should even wear a lifejacket on the big falls, but the side section felt safe for us today. There is a single outhouse. At least that's something.

Beautiful as ever.people NEED TO KNOW, AS FUN AS THE NATURAL WATER SLIDE LOOKS IT IS A DEATH TRAP DURING HIGH WATER. THE WATER RUSHES DOWN CAUSING TURBULENT UNDERTOE. I believe 2 or 3 people drowned this summer.the rocks, water, park are beautiful. Indian landing after the dam is beautiful also.

One of my very places to visit and just take in the beauty around me. It's a hidden gem that offers something in every season.

Stopped in at the falls during a day adventure with friends. The falls are beautiful, there are some information plaques about the history. Lots of people swimming. All and all a great place to stop and relax for a bit.
