Wings were very small, normally you get 8 large wings. This time a got little poor excuse for wings see pic, the manager said he would talk to the supplier, that's nice, I paid full price for 1/2 an order. I'll eat else where. Edited: 1 month later, I emailed portly piper a month ago. No answer i guess they don't care. But now I must thank them! I food the best wings in town at "CROWN WINGS".
So never eat at portly again.

This place is actually one of my favorite places to eat. However over time the quality of the food has gone down.especially for delivery. I place a large order thru skip and when I received my food it was all nice and hot.however everything was completely undercooked. The wings were not not cooked properly. The ribs were cold and old. The Mac n cheese had soggy bacon in it and was runny and watery. The pasta with the salmon still had water in it. For a dinner that costed me over $100 I didn't get any of my dressings or sauces or dips.not even a fork or napkin. I called the store and spoke to the manager who seemed like he wanted to help but offered me no help and told me to take it up with skip. Once FINALLY getting thru to skip they offered me half of the money for only the effected items. Not taking into consideration the things that were missing or the fact that the chicken was undercooked and could possibly make someone sick. What a waste of money and what a disappointment when I even called the store n simply wanted our dinner cooked properly so I could feed my family. For such a busy well known restaurant that I have frequented many times I am truly truly disappointed in this outcome and will not return nor advise anyone to order from them via any food courier provider. I'm truly disappointed and hungry at this point.

I have heard nothing but compliments about their food at this establishment, and being a food lover, I do need to taste. Well let me tell you, I have never in life been so disappointed. Ordered fettuccine and shrimp. I didn't realize cheese sauce was suppose to taste like watery cheese, and don't get me going on 4 shrimps the size of a quarter. Not impressed. Will I go back for food.no. Will I got back for the ambience and cocktails.for sure.fun place, but food.not impressed.

This is a good place for social gatherings and the food and service were good. The atmosphere though was a bit loud for quiet conversations.

Poorly executed food, made with incredibly low quality ingredients. Left 3/4 of my food on the plate and server didn't even ask why when she removed it.

Dined here tonight on a busy Friday night. The food was tasty, the portions were massive, but the service was outstanding. Prompt, friendly service, drinks automatically refilled, and our every request accommodated. Our waitress Kristen even tracked me down in the parking lot after I'd dropped my ID inside. Thank you Kristen!

Had the suicide wings. Bravo, finally a restaurant that's not afraid to bring the heat! Wings were cooked to perfection, nice crunchy sticks, and a good blue cheese sauce. Great food, fair price.

Went for wings and fries. Wings were great. They have a reputation of having big wings. The fries is bland and gravy is horrible.

This pup was amazing! Not what was expected. Diverse menu. Lots of variety. Really great experience. Ribs are Nom nom!

Sat out on the coveted patio at the side of the building. The front patio is very loud with King St.traffic.
Waite Staff were very quick and efficient. The menu is elaborate and the food is delicious. Great experience!

Not many choices for glutten free options. Pasta was over cooked for the amount that was charged.

Decent spot, perhaps a tad over priced for a couple of dishes but DEFINITELY when it comes to the ‘Roasted Beet Salad’. It was honestly just a pile of ingredients, not whatsoever incorporated. A huge pile of spinach with many spoiled pieces, just a massive chunk of goat cheese (I’d never complain about too much cheese but it was literally the size of a baseball), half an avocado that wasn’t even sliced, some onions and other bits and then a huge pile of beets that really appeared to be straight from a jar and warmed in a microwave - not a chance they’d been roasted. It had our entire table completely puzzled.

Bigger than it looks. Friendly staff but our waitress lacked a little knowledge however the place had only been opened for a few weeks so that was okay. I went with five other people and all enjoyed their food. I ordered the liver and I've definitely had better.
Update: I have been several times for takeout in the last 18 months. Unfortunately they always seem to make a mild to moderate mistake in the order. From a forgotten sauce to mixing up the order. It's always something.

Normally go to the one in Ajax and was happy to find that the vibe is just as great over here. The food was great and service was awesome. More than happy to visit again ️

Severely disappointed with what we ordered tonight. 2 out of the 3 dinners were inedible.
The Reuben was thick, grissly pieces of meat which you could not bit into, and the vegetable pad thai was so spicy (hot spicy) that it caused my lips/mouth and gums to burn. On description it says tangy not spicy. When I spoke to manager it was dismissed as "well nobody else has complained about it" and told I can have 50% of another dish when I order again. I Will not order again.

Great food very reasonable prices. Staff are awesome we love this spot. Try their angry salmon amazing dish.

Dinner tonight with friends consisted of hair in our appetizers, a snarly server, and then we became our own waitress by getting our own side plates / utensils. A customer addressed me thinking I worked there. The bartender was very nice and professional. Amazing drinks.

This place makes the best food, Had a greek salad from there the last time i was there and a steak to with mash patatoe and it was just amazing food, nice poeple, good service, going back there for sure.

I am in a wheelchair and therefore need establishments to be accessable. From the time the Greeter met me at the door I was well taken care of. Staff are super friendly and accommodating and the foog is nicely presented and tasty. Thank you Portly Piper staff for a very nice evening

Recently came here with my family and everyone else’s meals were okay but mine was extremely disappointing and not at all worth the $23 I paid.

The ingredients were not as described and the overall quality was lacking.

Nervous about our first dining experience post pandemic restrictions. Restaurant was clean, following protocols and friendly fast service. Great food: tasty, hot, generous portions, great experience, we will be back!

Very disappointed in the service we got from our server, Victoria. I've always enjoyed the food at Portly Piper. Including when I ordered delivery in the past, but extremely disappointed with the service. She was rude, and ignorant, and we felt rushed the entire time we were there.

Beef was tough. In the beef Yorkshire dish. Yorkshire pudding was dry.
For a chicken dish the gravy was a beef/chicken mixture
then I received fish tacos. Fish was great but the lettuce filler was too much

Horrible called as soon as had my first bite Lettuce tasted like it had been rinsed in soap disgusting.girl said she was going to talk kitchen n owner put me on hold n next thing I know she's telling me they want me bring it back to inspect it to try and find out what's wrong with Lettuce. I'm not bring food back sit there after sitting on phone to have then "inspect it" before deciding to give me refund

All was good till our waiter served dessert. I asked for our bill. And she disappeared. My party left and I waited another 20 min. I finally flagged own another staff to pay my bill.

Brought my dad and grandmother here for dinner last night, overall it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food and drinks were perfect, the service was amazing and I really enjoyed the atmosphere inside as well as on the patio. Everything was decently priced, a little on the high side for me but you really get what you pay for here so it's definitely worth it. I will definitely come here again, and to the staff and management; keep up the great work!

My family goes here atleast once every two weeks. And the first time i had their ribs and wings last night. It's actually pretty good. Good selection of beer too, wish they have more craft beers though.

First time here and there's absolutely nothing I can complain about. Came in on a Friday night and instantly received a table. Excellent service, excellent good, and good prices. 10/10 would recommend.

Service was incredible. Waitress was super bubbly and attentive, made all of our drinks spot on. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a great meal and good drinks!

Our first visit with few friends. Awesome experience from start to finish. Food was delicious and served on time, service was friendly and timely. Crab cakes must try. Steak, lamb racks were done to perfection as we wanted. Will recommend and go again for sure.

Ribs and wings were great. Your fish and chips not very good though. Intact I don't think it belongs on the menu.

I ordered the chicken quesadilla and found the tomato chunks too big and the chicken pieces too big. Mt husband's chicken pot pie had no seasonings and there was no flavour to it. The pastry on the pot pie was too thick

My first order was sea platter. I did not like any of the food except the coconut shrimp.
I don’t recommend the sea platter.

I hope the other meal are better.

I was impressed with quality of meals. Very fresh and delicious.
We had crab pasta, chicken wings and calamari! Everything is fresh and cooked properly. Sangria is not bad too

First time to go to this pub and the food the we ordered didn't disappointed us.since we ate in the patio the only problem was the Big Bikes was so loud.again the food was fantastic
