I attended the Carassauga Opening ceremony there yesterday. Amazing decor and displays, very friendly people and tasty foodies. Loved the Portugese folklore dancers, especially the young participants. They were great hosts for the colourful festival of cultures. Met so many wonderful people there including our Mayor Bonnie Crombie.

My wife and I had our baby shower here and it was a wonderful venue. Plenty of parking, excellent space downstairs, wonderful staff. It doesn’t matter if you’re Portuguese or not. All are welcome.

I gave this place 2 stars because my wife, family and I been there before at Carassauga and 1 other event. I find the people very rude! They push people on the dance floor, when your dancing. The people from the Islands think their better than the mainland. They made fun of our accent! What a joke! The REAL Proper way of speaking Portuguese is from the mainland! Get yourselves educated! You guys look like you just got off the boat! For those reasons we will NEVER go there again! Also, we find out from people we know in the public eye that this organization steals ideas from other business or events to make them look like the ones that started it or they are the ones in charge! Wow just Pathetic! Pathetic! Very unprofessional and the truth always comes out!

Great place for any event especially a Guiness World Record 747 People dancing Portuguese Folklore Dance

The Portuguese Cultural Centre of Mississauga (PCCM) is a big cultural centre that celebrates Portuguese culture through events (Carassauga) and has been around since 1974 with a large folklore following — just recently got the Guinness World Record for their continued dedication through the arts in Mississauga! HARD WORKS PAYS OFF, CONGRATS!

Went here for the Carassauga celebration and it was a blast! Fun but homey atmosphere - just like at family gatherings!

Usually amazing love this place but this carassauga was.expensive for nothing before COVID I would pay 25 for 8 tentacles now I pay 35 for one COVID screwed up everything and still is. Smh.

Was part of a wonderful charitable dinner here last week called The Taste of Eden. Venue is quite large and accommodates 200+ people comfortably.

We held our wedding reception at the Portuguese Club. Everything ran smoothly. The food was superb, the price great, and the venue is huge! The exterior of the building is unattractive, but inside the carpet is new, the chairs are new, and the dance floor in great condition. It’s a typical banquet hall, but this allowed us to bring our vision to life! We had plenty of space for seating and dancing. The club was extremely accommodating and granted easy access to all of our vendors. As the club is a charity, the money goes right back into the Portuguese Community of Mississauga which gives you that warm fuzzy feeling! The entire staff and directors of the club were great to work with. We highly recommend this venue for private and specialized parties. The food is exceptional (even if you are not Portuguese). Parking is free and they allowed overnight parking for any guests that had too much fun to drive home after! A short distance from Pearson Airport, close to hotels, and up the street from Mississauga’s historical Streetsville!
