I won't even give 1 star to this place. You are better off going to the other dental clinics in downtown Brantford. First, they called me saying an earlier appointment is available and I said sure let's move my appointment. I used my work lunch break to make this appointment. I show up for my appointment right on time and have to wait 30 minutes before the hygienist can take me? A lady shows up 10 minutes after me and gets to go in before me? On top of this, this clinic charges considerably higher prices than other clinics I have noticed and has subpar services. This clinic is about 4 min drive from my house, but I would rather drive an hour away than go to this place ever again. AVOID IF YOU CAN

Portway Dentistry is very kid friendly and makes my girls look forward to their checkups.
Lydia especially goes above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable and well taken care of, I will always request to be in her care.
The whole staff is incredible, and I have to say any work you get done is pain free and you're walked through each step.
Highly recommend!

Great experience I had today at Portway. This was my first cleaning appointment at this Dentistry and I'll definitely be coming back. The dental hygienist Lidia was amazing! She was very kind and knowledgeable. Even the receptionist Harika was great she booked me in for an appointment same day and even called me when a cancellation came through to ask if I wanted to come earlier. Super friendly staff highly recommend this Dentistry.

I had the greatest experience today at Portway Dentistry since the genesis of cleaning my teeth by a dental hygienist. Lidia was very thorough an effective with the service and I felt no pain nor pricking on my gums which has always been an issue with other dental hygienist since I started visiting a dentist. After the service I received, I made a commitment for Lidia to be my dental hygienist at Portway Dentistry. To summarize, she's awesome and I strongly recommend her to everyone who's in need of a dental hygienist.

In the last month.one crown and 2 fillings came out.you would think I would be taken care of

Dentist canceled my crown impressions on the first appointment. 10 min before my appointment before the long weekend. Missed a day of work.

Tryed to make 2 appointments, to get my filling redone so I don’t need a third root cannel from you guys. Had to wait for days in pain.

This is the second and third time the same filling came out.

Every bit of dental work I got from partway dentist.needed to be replaced or fixed. I’m Making a formal complaint to the dental association. I have never had more issues with my teeth since I became a patient

I’m going to contact my insurance manion also.you guys repeatedly, fix the same tooth and charge for it. They will do an investigation. You will probably end up getting sued by them. I already have every bit of history on my manion app. I’m adding up all the money you spent over and over again on incompetent dentist to fix my teeth.

This is extortion.my crown fell out, in a year…and you make me pay a fee? The alternative to not paying.is you will not fix your work? The crown was done wrong in the first place.
They then billed me the full amount. They STOLE the total out of my health spending account for the whole cost of the procedure after being told they would pay for it, without notice. Seeing it was bad dentistry that the crown fell out. Dentist didn’t leave enough original tooth, for the crown to stick to.
The worst thing of all is the same dentist that botched the first one had to do it again? And was extremely rude to me and his assistant, yelling at her while he worked over top of me. Rushing to do the work for the new crown and filling, he said we might not have time for. Even though I was told to come in early so we could do both things. Again I had to miss work.

I was referred here for dental services, and had Humaira for a cleaning. She did a great job and was very mindful of my sensitive teeth. Very thorough as well.

Very happy with the level of service. Lydia picked up on numerous things that dozens of other hygienists/dentists have missed over the years. I learned more during one cleaning than all other visits to other dentists combined. She should consider becoming a dentist. Glad I made the switch.

We had an appointment booked for 10, the dentist isn't there yet, ok, no problem. The hygienist brings my daughter back and starts cleaning her teeth. Around 10: 20 the dentist shows up (late), ok, no problem. The hygienist goes to get the dentist and check my daughter's teeth, as she's done cleaning them. By the time he comes back into the room, it's around 11: 50 and we're still needing the dentist to also check my 1 1/2 year olds teeth. So the dentist says "I'll be back in 5 mins" by this time its close to noon. Around 12: 15, still no dentist, everyones over it, the little ones screaming and crying and it's getting ridiculous. So I pop my head out the door look to right no one, look to the left and the dentist is in the break room, sleeping in a chair, a hat over his eyes, arms and legs crossed, full on sleeping. Are you kidding me? The hygienist that was with us during this journey had to physically go and wake him up (she tried verbally, but no luck). We were literally 5 feet away from you, I'm surprised the screaming child didn't wake you up! And that's the last time we ever went to portway. I feel some staff are very unprofessional and dont care about their patients. On a more positive note, the hygienists I've met are all wonderful!
