Potluck Caribbean Cuisine

Food is amazing here, my husband and I had oxtail and jerk chicken with rice and beans; portions are abundant and you will leave very satisfied, flavours are very authentic and definitely will come back! If you go in a rush hour like lunch you need to be a little patient if you don’t like making lines, they are very fast taking orders anyways but tables might be not enough since they seem to be very popular! Good job guys! Loved the place!

I placed and order and came back in 20 minutes when they told me 15. I waited another 10 in store before they remembered my order. Then told me they sold the dumplings I already bought as they sold to someone else so there was no more for me unless I want to wait another 15 minutes. Then didn’t even have a knife for me to cut the roti. This place is an embarrassment it was the first time I went there instead of the burrito boyz next door, and I’ll never be back and I’ll make sure no one i know goes there. They should have done something to compensate the disaster but offered nothing and didn’t seem to even care

Excellent food! Came here for breakfast and ordered Ackee and Saltfish with provisions and it was amazing! The restaurant ambiance was nice as well.

Be careful guys I saw a cockroach when i was at the cash register. It was crawling on the counter top. I didn’t want to be rude at first because I didn’t want to make a scene.i hope this review helps other people. I can’t believe their health inspection passed.

I ordered ackee and saltfish and it was the worst. The food had no flavor it actually tasted and looked like there was no seasoning couldn’t even see a grain of black pepper and there was no saltfish. What a waste of my money. I will never go back.

I would give 0 stars …. Ordered three large jerk with rice and peas with oxtail gravy, chicken was dry, food was bland, the flavour that was present was horrible, the rice tasted like melted plastic (if you ever burnt something on the stove you know what that scent is), only two meals had the gravy and the portions were child size, how’s a large not even fill up a container? One small breast or one small leg / thigh piece and the smallest portion of rice I’ve ever gotten from a large meal, I should have read the reviews about this place first, anyone saying the food is good is lying or not cultured …. Needles to say I will not be returning … unsatisfied and I feel like I was ripped off for the $50 this garbage cost me.

Update: my initial review of 2 starts was accidentally posted on the wrong potluck location. Every time I've gone to the Dundas location I've had great food and service.

They need to change their hours of operation here Google so it's accurate. I went at 8pm and there was a paper printed sign showing their hours of operation as closing at 8pm not 9.normally 3 stars for their meals though

A great restaurant. A wonderful owner and staff. Atmosphere is relaxing.you feel like you deh a yaad! They made the most tasty fried fish for me for Easter. I was extremely pleased with the presentation, not to mentioned when we started eating it. Delicious! They came through for me. It saved me time and money. This is my second kitchen! Keep up the good work. Nuff Nuff Blessings!

Longstory short, this place is great.

I stopped by Missisuaga for an appointment and decided to give this place a shot. Staff was friendly and although they were just opening, the food was excellent.

The rice was better than most, and the coleslaw hit the spot when you combined it with the chicken. While the chicken was actually really good. Despite them not having oxtail sauce available, it was still excellent. Not too overbearing, not too saucey. The right amount of kick.

Though the store is small, the food was really good and recommend giving this place a shot.

Service is so good, the food is delicious and authentic I really am so happy that they are local and so much better then Sunrise

Ordered a Large Jerk chicken meal. The portion was small, I got 2 drumsticks, very small piece of a thigh and the rest were bones following with some coleslaw, rice and peas. Felt like a Small meal. Much smaller portion overall compared to the 7070 St Barbara location.
Customer service was okay.

Will be definitely going to the other location because it's much more worth it.

I come here very often and I'm usually very impressed. But I came in on Saturday around one and ordered 2 oxtail meals and a jerk chicken. I can honestly say by the the most tasteless bland food I could imagine. The oxtail wasn't made with any love it wasn't tender and had literally zero flavour. My mom and I were excited but very disappointed.

Customer service is fantastic! I have had great interactions with the staff. Very humorous and attentive.
