Tried their chicken biryani and potato cake. It was a pretty solid experience and the food was really appetizing. Loved the potato cakes especially. The staff is very courteous explaining every detail to help you make the right choice. I’ll definitely go back to try more.
Very pocket friendly menu and really flavourful taste. Looks like an owner operated restaurant that doesn’t compromise with quality or quantity. Appetizers are one of the best in the area.
Wow! Amazing from the moment you walk in! Friendly, cozy, and the food is incredible! I was even offered a free rice pudding while I waited for my food:)
We had them do the catering for a family event. Good experience. Our guests appreciated the food quality and Kashmiri Tea was very good. Definitely recommend them.
Excellent dishes with a homemade warmth to them, and very friendly staff!:). On my first visit I ordered a Palak Paneer and Tandoori wraps for my husband and I. Both rich and delicious. The owner even gave me a complementary rice pudding to try. On my second visit I ordered the rice pudding so it was a wonderful sale! I highly recommend Pots and Potatoes.
Excellent little spot! We stumbled across the spot while looking for shawarma actually. So glad we gave it a go! The owner was so sweet and greeted us personally and it really felt like she paid attention to the little details. We ordered biryani and palak paneer. Hands down the best I’ve tasted! My boyfriend and I wolfed down that biryani so quickly! We also ordered a side of potato curry and it was so tender and had just the right amount of spice! Awesome little spot! Can’t say enough!
The best Indian food in Burlington! This take out restaurant is amazing! I have tried everything on the menu. My favorite is the Nihari. Friendly service, delicious food.
Great food, fresh and well prepared meals. Great value with best quality food, one of my favorite restaurants.simple and delicious. Naver disappointed.very well packaged.
Food was delicious and excellent value for the price. Would definitely eat here again. Lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Will be back to try more dishes!
Biryani is the highlight of their menu second only to the great customer service. I’m so excited to have found a family run Pakistani restaurant in Burlington. Highly recommended
I called the restaurant about a delivery concern and they were absolutely terrific.not only did the they assist me but provided a fantastic meal and included an extra perk. Great food and great service- highly recommend everyone try their Briyani!
Loved the scotch egg curry as well as the samosas! And the fact that this is a business that truly values it's customers.give them a try you won't regret it!
I'm very happy to have come here. I ordered a max size butter chicken with a side of roasted veggies. The butter chicken was rich, flavourful, and spicy. The roasted veggies were also very good. It's nice to have a relaxed take-out place like this nearby, and the quality is superior to similar establishments in further away areas like north Mississauga.
Was really awful, when you think samosa you don't think about mush inside horrible pastry, I would recommend almost any other Indian restaurant in Burlington before I would tell someone to go here. Such a disappointment when its one of their only items.
I ordered biriyani and samosas. The portion for biriyani was good and it tasted different and better than other places I have tried so far. Samosas were amazing. Definitely returning again to try something else.
Excellent, was reluctant to order because there aren't many vegetarian options, but the items that were tasted great, dishes are reasonably priced and croquettes are a hit, will definitely be ordering from here again, hope to see more vegetarian items on the menu in the future.
First of all very excited to have a Pakistani restaurant in Burlington. Very nice customer service. Presentation is nice too. The taste is really good but very less spices (not saying hotness) maybe they want to serve the local market but being desi found it non appetizing. Prices are fine too but serving size is small. Biryani and lemon chicken are the best so far. If you introduce adjustable spice level (low, medium etc) upon customer choice that would be a real game changer.
Food is great, a little on the spicier side but fresh & delicious. The staff are always so friendly & polite. Have tried everything on their menu & it's consistently delicious. Great little spot!
You need to eat here! This was my first visit and I will definitely be going back! I sent an email with a requested time of pickup and it was ready to go. My samosas were so fresh they were being boxed on arrival! Everything was so good!
Delicious. The menu confused us for a minute on the mains. We sorted It out - you get rice + a wet dish (dal or butter chicken) and then either tandoori chicken or herbed chicken as the dry protein.
The appetizers are great - especially the chicken salsa and cheesy thing.
Got uber delivery for Halwa puri.the packaging was amazing and hygienic! Taste was really good too.please if you could add an option to add extra puri only then it would be great.
So far I have only tried the butter chicken, lemon chicken and samosas. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and quick. The portions were perfect and the price was great. I am looking forward to trying more menu items.
I have been to Pots and Potatoes not once, but twice since they opened because their food is simply that good! They have something for everyone. I'm a vegetarian so I have tried the lentil soup, vegetarian samosas, and cheese croquettes and all three are absolutely incredible! Everything I tried had wonderful flavour and the portion sizes were very generous for how low the price was. I definitely will be going back, and soon!
The serving size was great for the price! Best butter chicken I have ever had! Amazing, friendly service is so hard to find these days but I can cofidently say that the Pots and Potatoes staff EXEMPLIFY high quality customer service. 12/10 recommendation!
Just ordered Butter Chicken with bbq chicken combo, biryani, and daal with rice. Nothing tasted good or authentic. Probably the worst south Indian food I have had. The Biryani has potential but is missing masala. I am not sure what these other reviews are going on about because I feel conned by them. Prices are very reasonable but food is not up to par. Maybe I have just had great food in Sauga and Toronto and the bar in Burlington is extremely low for Desi food? I am not sure but I was extremely disappointed here. I hope this was just a one off day and not the norm.
The food is very good and satisfying, and the prices are insanely reasonable. The value for money here really shines. Yes, there is better Indian food out there, but not at this price - not even close. The staff are amazing, and obviously care a great deal about their business and customers.
Was excited to see this open, especially in the middle of the pandemic. Popped in to try the biryani and it did not disappoint. Lots of flavour and the right spices, plus the staff was really nice. Hoping they get lots of love and stick around, this will be my lunch treat once a week while working from home
Today was my first time visiting this restaurant and let me just say, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service! The staff were professional and the restaurant itself was very clean. I just had a couple samosas but their freshness and quality was immediately apparent. After how good the samosas were, I am disappointed I didn't order more food while I was in the restaurant, but hey, it gives me an excuse to go back in the future.
I tried many of the menu items on opening day! The chicken biryani was simply amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had. The butter chicken is rich and complex and the croquettes and samosas are the perfect comfort food. I will be visiting again soon and highly recommend trying a little bit of everything!
