Potter's Nurseries

My favourite place to shop for the kinds of plants I can’t smoke. I found the big box stores just do not have the selection we’re looking for (and if you go in August they all look dead). Zoltan was there this weekend and helped us pick out a couple trees and ground covers. He was so kind and generous with his time (not just with us but other customers who were there). But everyone who works there that we’ve dealt with is wonderful. I thought it was just a summer business but no, they will have mums and pumpkins soon then xmas trees! This is the type of service and care you hope to get from a family business. We will always shop here.

Very helpful staff, I even called back a later day and they answered some questions for me over the phone.

Potters 30 years ago landscaped my West end house. It was both extensive and beautiful and I have been a loyal customer ever since.

But I now have to stop and acknowledge Zolton who is absolutely the best. I have been there numerous times already this year landscaping a newer property. He is engaging, knowledgeable and a true delight.

I have been anxiously awaiting a certain tree to arrive to be held for me. Beyond their control it has been delayed. They were able to get one for me and when I arrived to pick up Zolton was there with a huge smile and had the tree already loaded for transport to truck.
He gave me all needed support and knowledge transfer to put it in the ground successfully.

A lot of stuff perhaps some one can't get anywhere else but Expensive - this one shocking me the most. Every garden center in the neighborhood sells 5' tall healthy Emerald Cedar for $30 but Potter's (and yes in a bigger pot) at $230 - really? That makes me wonder how they manage to keep repeat business?
