I purchased online the sherpa anywhere lounger sofa. There was no assembly instruction when I saw on YouTube that there should be. The second package which came from Sherway and there was a stain on the arm rest and fuzz. Did they repackaged a used item. I couldn't get things to fit.

Love to shop here! But add a few weeks/months of delivery time on your furniture items on top of the dates promised. Staff is very helpful. If you wish to decorate your home, you can book an appointment as well with the design staff.

Recently I was trying to order a bedroom furniture set for my daughter. I purchased part of it to pick up in store needed to split the order so the dresser could be delivered. When the time came to place the order for the dresser, which was too big to pick up, the item was removed from the sale. I was given an order number by an employee to ensure I still got the sale price.

I was directed by the store employee to contact customer service because only they could adjust the price. When I did, the order number I was given could not be found. When I asked to speak to a manager, the customer service agent hung up on me. I called the number back and spoke to another customer service person who directed me back to the store, because the price could only be adjusted in store. No one would take accountability and I was being sent in circles. I was given an email to send a complain to, however no one will reply to it.

This company has terrible customer service and will completely ignore or even hang up on you it you ask for help. This has been a terrible experience shopping at Pottery Barn and now I have a very sad daughter with half of a bedroom set. I have spent a lot of money over the years at this store and will not shop there again.

I just went into the store to browse and ended up finding the perfect item. They have a very large selection of quilts, found one which was so soft. The best part was it didn't have one of those overly busy pattern. The sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you're looking for quality then make the time to visit Pottery Barn.

There is not one close to me wish thy had a store in Burlington. Love there selection and design. However maybe they could have some better price points for the average person.

If you want a great experience of being treated like an inconvenience, then this is the place! The ladies working this store are the most absolute rude customer service representatives I have ever met. Went there before Christmas, was purchasing two extremely expensive photo frame (box style), and they were so simply rude I walked out and did not purchase. Went back last Friday 13th, (believing that their attitude was based on the Christmas shopping rush), no.they are all extremely rude, unhelpful, annoyed at your presence, and quite simply miserable. I won't be coming back again.

I could actually write a novel about how absolutely awful my experience has been. But people have said it in the other reviews and I wish I would have read them. Please don’t waste your money. The customer service is absolutely disgusting. I will never purchase or recommend Pottery Barn - I will forever tell anyone who will listen how much of a nightmare dealing with this company is.

I wish I could give this review 0 stars but unfortunately that wasn't an option. On Thursday evening I had the most horrible experience with a customer service representative at PB Sherway Gardens. Her name was Barb. I live in Oakville and have 2 small children so was only able to get to Pottery Barn at around 7: 45 PM to pick up an order I placed online. When I asked Barb if she could please look for my item, her reply was that "the warehouse guys had gone home and she was only going to look if the item was small. ' Firstly, is this a response a customer should receive from a customer service rep? If the store is open and the pick up instructions claim that the store is open until 8 PM, a customer service rep should WILLINGLY and HAPPILY get my item from the back. She begrudgingly got my item and gave it to me. I was double checking that the items that I purchased were in the bag when I coughed [double masked, into my arm, 5 ft away from her]. She then proceeded to do the following; 1.asked me if I was sick, 2.asked me if I had COVID, 3. Told me that I cough in her face. I was so shocked I barely knew what to say. The manager was standing right there so I said 'this was a terrible customer service experience just so you know. ' The manager was neither apologetic nor helpful and so I left. I returned my items the next day and will never purchase another item from this store. This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had.

Horrible customer service. I ordered the Bench Right table, the first one was a little short so I contacted Pottery barn and they said I could order the larger table (which was in stock) and once delivered, they would pickup my return of the shorter table. I placed my order for the larger table (paid in full), and it has now been over a month with no updates on when I can expect delivery and when the return will be processed for the table they are supposed to pick-up! I have called once a week and every agent provides different information. Some have said its enroute and will be delivered any day, and even provided me with AMJ phone number to track the in transit delivery. Today I call back only to find out that the table is still in the U. S! Meanwhile, I am out of pocket $10k and still do not have any idea what is going on with my order, or the return. This is not the level of service I would expect from a "premium" furniture company!

Went to buy 2 gift cards. Though the lady was really nice, it took forever (just cz I wanted to pay for in a single transaction) Then I was given the cards in oversized greeting cards which didn't fit the gift card. Then they were 'out of envelopes' so was given a huge paper bag to gift them in. Disappointed with my experience.

Bad experience! Staff wasn’t helpful. They kept answering our questions very reluctantly. Things we wanted were available at other PB stores but they didn’t even offer to call and hold them for us or help us, She just assumed that the products would be on display in the other stores too. Very dismissive and unprofessional. Won’t come back to this location.

Pottery Barn has beautiful stuff for the home, but customer service is lacking. This is unfortunate given the amount of money one spends at this store. If an item is not in stock, they can't order and ship to store for pick up but will ship to your home at your expense. They won't do store to store transfers. Also I had the misfortune to interact with a curt employee, who I did not find helpful or friendly. This is my second similar experience and hoping for better in the future.

Placed an order for a recliner in October that was supposed to arrive mid November. In December I decided to call and follow up since it hasn’t arrived. They told me to schedule my delivery with their delivery company. Called them and they did not have the recliner. Called pottery barn numerous times to inquire and they just keep giving me the run around that it’s coming. No follow up from pottery barn at all. Same excuse that it got lost in transit and another one is coming every time I call.

They do not follow up with you at all when things are late or lost and you have to hunt them down every time.

Absolutely zero help from customer service as they seem to be as confused as me every time I call.

Now it is mid January and still no recliner or no answers on when it is coming or if it will ever come in at all.

This is incredibly embarrassing for such a large company that can’t get their delivery processes in order. Avoid them at all costs unless you can wait forever.

Several weeks ago i ordered a console table i was told was "available to ship". Good- be here in time for Christmas i thought. Wrong- after ordering and paying in full and receiving no update, i called Pottery Barn to find the table hadn't even been made- so much for "available to ship"! And, the Pottery Barn payment conditions clearly state that your payment source will not be charged until the item has shipped- they violated that policy too! I was so disappointed with their lack honesty and integrity i cancelled the order- a week later and still nothing. They have my money and i have no furniture! Hohoho- Christmas at the Pottery Barn! I have purchased from many places on-line, as we all have, especially due to the current environment. I can say that Amazon, Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Wayfair, the Bay, Chapters and Sporting Life, among others, all have excellent on-line order fulfillment capabilities. Should have read the many negative reviews about Pottery Barn and ordered from one of them instead!

I love coming here they have great selection, pricey but worth it, you get what you pay for. I’ve bought two of there candles here that are battery operated and had it for years now luv it as for inexpensive they don’t last long. And the service is nice here.

Located at CF Sherway this location is a little tight but has all that Pottery Barn has to offer. This location is nicely kept and has plenty of staff on site to help you with any questions you have. The store is usually busy as its reputation for home furnishings is known.

They have all areas of the home offerings including curtains and bathrooms. Should you have any claims or disputes there customer service will help you solve any issues with your order in a timely manner. If you a fan of high priced furniture with a distinct look you'll be happy with this location.

Honestly the customer service was very poor. When we ordered our dining chairs we were told it'll be available to ship within two weeks, then we called customer service for tracking number and we were then told they're on backorder for a month and a half. No apologies or any solution of any sort. When I called the store back, the lady that helped us said she would call customer service and get back to me but didn't so I called the next day to follow up. Again no apologies or anything. This was a very disappointing first time purchase from pottery Barn, and will never return

Very good staff. They got a lot of furniture like chairs, tables, big candles, pillows, flower pots etcetera. Everything is available in different colour. Also, Price is pretty good.

I like their products, but the staff including the manager are standoffish, snobbish, and unhelpful. When you reach out for help they act as if they are doing you a favour.unless you are a middle age blond woman, in which case they smile and appear so helpful. A bit sexist? Maybe. A bit racist? Possibly. No, i am not going back.

When you shop at this price point you expect good service, I was ignored by all the staff and when I went to ask a couple questions about some products I got lazy no effort involvement from the staff. They told me to shop online. I have a computer, I came to the store for a reason. I'll shop the competition instead.

We usually shop online for the ease and convenience. We are a very familiar with their style and codes as we have been loyal customers for over 3 decades and appreciate the good quality of pottery barn and pottery barn kids, most of our things were purchased here. Unfortunately, experiences in the stores, especially this location were not so stellar and could be very aggravating. Visited the Sherway location 4 weeks ago on a busy Sunday afternoon. Some of the associates like the very tall statuesque black lady who was very knowledgeable and genuinely believe in the quality of the products she was selling was great, she was prompt and very helpful. But before her, I first inquired with a middle aged, miserable looking associate with glasses and medium length hair at the first check out counter for the same items, but she was dismissive and lazy, and completely unhelpful, she couldn't be bothered at all to understand what I was looking for, and locate or direct me where to find it in the store. It was like she was being bothered by you to do her job. Shopping on stores used to be a nice enjoyable experience due to the fact that you can see and feel the items you are interested in, and having helpful, knowledgeable sales people on the floor to answer your inquiries instantly was really reassuring. So many brick and mortar stores have already closed, and people are adapting to shopping online more and more, management really needs to step up your game if you want to keep your few remaining retail locations open.

Purchased a very expensive couch, paid in full and non-refundable as it is their policy. I was told I would get a call within a few days to confirm the order was linked to the U. S and an approximate delivery date. Two weeks later and several calls to the store and there is still no indication about my order going through. No-one has an answer other than "I will have to call you back" and so far no one has. I tried calling HQ and they cannot help because they are in the U. S. How disgraceful for a big chain store like Pottery Barn. Customer care is not just unprofessional.there isn't ANY!

I'd been looking for a rain drum table for some time since my Toronto supplier of Asian imports retired. Lo and behold there it was, in three sizes at Pottery Barn. A quick old fashioned telephone call put me contact with Barb at their Sherway Gardens location and it was mine! Top notch service from everyone I encountered: Barb, the associate who I spoke to in store the next day who instructed me where to park and their stock personnel to load my purchase into my vehicle. They bring your large purchase out through the concourse entrance beside the Valet parking booth, just park curbside, call the store back to tell them you're waiting and within a couple of minutes they were on scene. A quick signature and I was gone all within 10 minutes! I attended the store Friday morning around 10: 30 and everyone was just ramping up for the day. Unfortunately, the quality of the item is similar and not identical to previous stock I've purchased before my importer retired but it's an authentic copy nevertheless. Only thing Pottery Barn could have done to improve my experience is wait in line for me at Starbucks! It's all about the experience, isn't it? Convenient parking and store is located within immediate access through entrance 4 on the northeast side of Sherway.

Wow did I ever have the WORST experience at this Pottery Barn location. Not one employee approached me. I was looking to get lots of glass ware so I approached one of the employees and said: "hey could I get some help with the glassware? ". She responded: "you''ll have to wait! I'm helping someone! " (rudely) and walked away. Another employee walked by at the same time so I asked "do you think you could help me? " and she responded "I'm also with someone.you can wait". YOU CAN WAIT? I literally said "It's fine" and walked out. Neither of them offered to see if another employee was available or could have nicely responded that they would be with me momentarily. WOW I cannot believe I was treated so rudely and dismissed TWICE. I'm assuming because I am a young adult and they assumed I wasn't serious about a purchase? I have no idea but it was so messed up honestly I'm never shopping at that location ever again.

The first i love about pottery barn is the excellent service and fast delivery.they have amazing furniture, sheets.i go crazy everytime i need to redocorate.
