PPL Aquatic, Fitness & Spa Group Inc

Beware: Incident with 2 males from pplgroup at 11: 35 AM November 24 2023 at Bay & College intersection in Downtown Toronto. They sped through the bike lane on Bay Street with their truck (pictures attached) and scraped me in the bike lane. When approached at a red light they roll the window down and the driver sticks the middle finger and continues to taunt. After being taunted I took out my camera and got a picture of the 2 males and also the license plate J72800.

PPL is a dishonest and negligent company. They have a contract with Ranee Management and the pool at one of their properties has had a poor functioning pump which has needed replacement for years. This year, the cement was resurfaced days after the pool was filled and the debris from the concrete sank into the pool making it so clouding that you cannot see the lines at the bottom of the pool. Several residents, including myself, called PPL alerting them of this danger. However, they blamed the murkiness on the weather and continued to operate. When 4 children contracted eye infections, we called public health and after a water test, the pool failed and was closed down. For several days, PPL poured chemicals into the pool and tried to vacuum the debris which was comical to witness because the debris became resuspended with the movement of the vacuum. They added a chemical of God knows what that causes debris to settle to the bottom and gave the pool the appearance of being clean. They also blamed the murkiness on the lifeguard, stating that "he did not know what he was doing. " That same lifeguard was out there for days vacuuming up a pool that would never get clean. To this day the pool becomes cloudy as soon as there is activity in it and has failed another test from public health. They do not care if they poison our kids with their ineffective chemicals. Several parents have refused to allow their kids to swim in the pool, but unfortunately many kids are still swimming in that chemical concoction of murky water. This situation is ripe for a class action law suit as both PPL and Ranee Management have been negligent and are operating under willful ignorance.
