A really great find. Great balcony overlooking a beautiful park and golf course. The food is fantastic. Be sure to get the perogies either as an appetizer or entree. Overall, food is fresh and full of flavour. Service is friendly and on point.

Honestly. This place is a hit or miss. I’ve been coming with my family for over 15 years and it depends on the night. Sometimes the food is really good, other times it’s bland and flavourless.
I would mostly recommend the schnitzels because they are the most consistent. I do not recommend the stroganoff at all (which is too bad cause that’s my favourite food of all time).
The service is also spotty, too. Sometimes you get a great server, and then others they seem rude or off put by your requests. Recently we went for dinner with my 94 year-old Nana and we were sitting on the patio. It was a sunny area and she was getting hot so we requested the open table in the shade. They declined and brought over an umbrella instead. Like cmon. Just give the 94 year-old a table in the shade.
Anyway, the cocktails are nice and the patio is gorgeous. I can see why they host weddings. The gardens are really well done. All in all it’s beautiful place but the quality of food and service could use a step up.

10/10 experience. On time with the food service for our wedding. One of the biggest pet peeve for weddings is the delay and slow services. Prague made sure everything was done in a timely manner and not only that they catered to our every need. I can say for myself that Prague has helped built our memories from the ceremony to the food, to the alcohol! I strongly recommend Prague for the wedding, as well you can use the altar in the park for your wedding photos. The whole experience from start to finish was seem less and I promise you will not be disappointed coming here.

Really tasty, classic eastern European food. Fast service although the server was on the quiet side.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful restaurant. We had our wedding there 5 years ago, so we went back to celebrate our anniversary. Mariana and her staff took care of us very nicely. The food was excellent, fabulous beer and we are very happy for we had our anniversary here.

Decor elegant, space was spotless. Service was very attentive. The food was top quality with generous portions. Our party had two different schnitzels and beef goulash. A good selection of beers, wines and spirits. The desserts were well executed, especially the filled crepes. Highly recommended.

Quite place for a romantic dinner. Good food and service. Wouldn't mind to go dinning again.
Outdoor sitting seems nice, but it was just too windy on our visit, so we choose indoor instead.

Well all I can say is I was born in Scarborough and lived there for years and this location is truly a hidden gem.

Very friendly staff, with the pleasant music (noticed jazz and classic pop), decor is a bit old but given how long this place has been around it gives that much more character to it.

For starters we had perogies and it was cooked through to perfection and not to mention was not oily.

My main was the chicken schnitzel with home made fries and salad. I was very pleased with this as the chicken was not oily and the batter was not too thick either plus the chicken was nice and tender. The fries were cut into cubes can only assume for faster cooking but once again cooked perfectly and not oily either. Then finally the salad now normally I'm not big on salads unless I make it myself but this place you can taste the freshness and whatever they drzzelled on it gave it a nice kick; wished they offered a tiny bit more but no big deal.

Now for this main overall good portions and even though it was filling it was surprisingly not heavy at the same time.

Finally onto the dessert, I was contemplating between the brownie and the apple struddle but picked the brownie only because the struddle had raisins in it (I'm no raisins fan folks) but from what I can tell though it is made the proper way so will try that the next time I visit. But back to the brownie and my gosh not too sweet, not too hard or soft either as it was made perfectly and the berries to go with it you can tell these had to come fresh from a garden as store bought berries are garbage.

Overall would I come here again? YES!

Do I recommend others to come here? DOUBLE YES!

I want to give a 4.5 but cant give. 5s on here but the reason why I'm not giving a 5 is because there was tiny flies coming in the restaurant and distracting me only because the door to patio was open and if one sat by the window like I did and you sit too close to the window you can feel the cold air hit you coming from the a/c but please don't take that the wrong way as those are just minor things.

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at this amazing restaurant with our family and friends. Beautiful setting, great food and wonderful staff. Thank you Mariana for making our celebration an amazing and memorable occasion.

Quality was not like as what you see in the photos, schnitzel was overcooked and not fresh, besides we were waited 1.15 minutes for the food and their attitude was not very professional to deal with this delay.
Except view of the patio which was beautiful, rest not really recommended.

The pork roast was amazing! Broke apart like pulled pork but juicier, more robust and homey. The gravy hit the spot and sauerkraut just right in quantity and taste.

Just had an amazing dinner at the Prague restaurant. Food was outstanding and to top it off they were serving mashed potatoes with the schnitzel.

I was there with my family we ordered chicken schnitzel the portions were it to small and we waited for the food more the 1 hour went to pay the bill they charged me 40 dollars more extra the servers there are very nasty. 1 Schnitzel with couple french fries 25$ It's not enough. I was a little hungry. I paid 200 dollars for 4 portions of schnitzel. 50 $ 1 portion of chicken schnitzel

Prague restaurant is a really nice place tucked away in Scarborough. I really love both the interior and the deck with a view of this place which would make it great for events. The food is top notch and the staff are friendly. I reccomended this place to anyone interested in Central and Eastern European foods.

It was my first time going here. The food was amazing. The ghoulash soup was just delicious! My main entrée was salmon with salad and it was also very delicious. This restaurant is in a park which really adds to the peaceful ambience. Will definitely go back here again.

I ordered the garlic schnitzel it come out burnt, full of oil. The waitres shouldn't bring that to our table probably not experienced waitres if she were she wont served that to me.
After i mentioned that im not happy with the quality she told us she wasnt chargin us for the cabage. I wasnt saying anything about salad

They both were born and raised in former Czechoslovakia and therefore you can taste Europe in every bite

Ate here for a birthday dinner with friends we've missed during the pandemic. Very good eastern European food. I loved everything I ate, and I was stuffed when we left.

Delicious eastern European cuisine! Reminds me of the old country.

A hidden gem in Scarborough Golf area! Nice, clean, spacious and cozy dinning room. Excellent service and fantastic Eastern European food! Definitely returning and highly recommended!

Oh boy, what happened?
I am a long time customer and today was the last time I visited.
I was seated around the corner, which I understand. We did not wear suits.
We ordered drinks and nobody came to ask if we want more. I had to go to the bar and get my own. If four people come to eat dinner, you know there is some money to be made. The food took forever and was not as expected. I would have loved to have dessert but we did not want to wait another hour.
We went to Tim Hortons. Sad. Ice cream or Crepes would have been nice.

Had a wonderful dinner here on a Friday night. The service was great. The food was also very good. We ordered drinks and
• PIEROGI (5pc) filled with potato & cheddar, topped with smoked bacon, crispy onions and sour cream.
• BOHEMIAN PLATTER FOR TWO
Wiener schnitzels, pork roast, Debreziner (pork) sausage, sauerkraut, red cabbage, dumplings, home fried potatoes, gravy and tartar sauce. It was a great way to try a bit of everything. We will definitely be going back and try the other dishes.

They all seemed to work together unlike some other places where each server only attends to their owe areas. Every so often someone would go around and check on each table.
The food was also very good.

Fine food. Dining room has a very appealing atmosphere. Beautiful setting in park grounds. Very knowledgeable and willing owner and waiting staff. Ingredients are carefully detailed for those with food reactions and allergies. Phone ahead or go online in case the place is closed for a wedding or party! Anne and Pedro Leon

I really wanted to give this restaurant more because the service is fantastic and super friendly. Other than that one other positive thing are the crepes, super delicious. Now to the negative things: the decor, to say the least is VERY dated, it would be considered dated even back in Eastern Europe, it felt like being in a restaurant from the last century, but not in a good vintage or bohemian way. The food is overpriced for the portions you get and it is just decent, nothing exceptional (except for the crepes which, again, were amazing) Poor wine selection and a couple of Czech beers on draft (but it would have been bad if they did not have even Czech beer in a Czech restaurant). Location is set in the Scarborough Golf Club so not very close nor convenient if you come from downtown but the setting on a sunny day on their patio must be pretty. To add to the sadness of the decor was the fact that the place is big and on a Friday night it was pretty empty. A real pity.

Nothing beats the in house/ patio experience but ordered from uber the schnitzel platter for two with a side of red cabbage. Tasted fantastic and fills you up. Generous portions will leave you with leftovers:)

Book ahead especially on the weekends, the food and service are outstanding. It's a beautiful quiet area perfect for an evening outing.

Beautiful patio for a weekend lunch. Service was efficient and friendly. Loved my brie schnitzel with potato salad. We also walked on the beautiful grounds after lunch. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. There's a patio that overlooks the beautiful landscape of the Highland Creek park. Food is excellent and great value for the price, the menu spans the cuisine of several Central European countries. I recommend the Bohemian Plate.

It's very well hidden in the Masaryktown complex, which itself is on a non-well trafficked street - so a hidden gem. Parking can be limited.

Just picked up the Sharing Platter for Two. Everything was excellent. Takeout process was very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend!

Ordered from here for dinner tonight and have to say it was some of the best takeout food I have ever had. Everything was packaged with care and was still warm when it was hitting the table. We ordered the number 1 for four people and added a beet salad on the side because we can’t eat from here and not get the beet salad. There was plenty of leftovers to enjoy on another night. The pickup was safe and simple. We will definitely be repeat customers and are happy to support local.

Finest place to have some food when in a hurry. Their service is quick, pricing is convenient, excellent character. I highly recommend this spot.

First Rate Hidden Gem in the Scarborough Golf Club Area!

The description from the webpage says it all " A bohemian Czech and Slovak restaurant serving traditional meals in a casual country club setting overlooking the rolling hills of Masaryktown. " A small group of foodies decided to band together one evening and descend on this intriguing place that was recommended by one of our group who, you guessed was from Eastern Europe and had eaten there many times. Our group was quite diverse as we had folks from all over the globe, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Russia, regions of China, Korea, Taiwan, Canadian First Nations, and others, who for some had never had traditional Czech food before.

Since we were a large group to make things easier for us and the staff, we had the great folks at Prague prepare a set menu for us. We had three choices each for the apps, mains, and desserts. I went for the lovely mixed greens, shaved beet and feta salad which was a flavor explosion with fresh veggies and a great dressing. Next was the mouthwatering creamy Beef Stroganoff, soft tender seasoned slices of beef of a bed of thick euro-style noodles with gently steamed yellow beans, and we finished with a wonderfully house-made crepe. I care not what the others had as I was focused on my meal and the lovely lady I was with. But from what I heard there were no complaints about the food and the many Czech beers we polished off.

Prague is a great space with an outdoor patio, great for summer nights and cooler evenings. There is plenty of space in the elegantly designed interior and a full-service bar with typical alcohols, wines, Czech and North America beers, wines and specialty liqueurs. The Prague Restaurant has it all, ambiance, great food, great atmosphere, stunning views on the patio and world-class staff. Yes, Prague should be on every foodie's list as you will not be disappointed.

I go to this outstanding place every couple of days since I enjoy the good mood that is outline this place. The personel is extremely friendly and experienced. The service is awfully fast. Also, the food you get is highly distinguished. I ate there many times and I was always joyful. The expense is reasobable. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Wow! Have lived in Scarborough all my life and never knew about this restaurant. It has a wonderful ambiance, very friendly/professional staff and the food is delicious. It's located at 450 Scarborough Gulf Club Road in a quaint quiet nook, just off the main road. There is a lovely outdoors area to eat on nice weather days and the inside restaurant is very warm and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of scrumptious schnitzels, as well as other great specialties on their menu. In addition, I must mention how impressed we were with the thoughtfulness of the staff there. Upon being sat at our table, we were asked if we were celebrating anything special.we mentioned 2 birthdays not thinking anything of it. At the end of our meal, we were presented with 2 strawberry crepe birthday desserts decorated with candles! It was such a thoughtful surprise! This restaurant is definitely a place for people to check out!

I love their pork schitzel and potato salad. Portions are large and service is good. Call ahead for reservations as they book alot of weddings which take the whole dining room. Piano player or live music on special occasions.

I go with my wife to this place quite a bit! This is the best place to grab a bite. I visit this place at least once a month. The meals are just great, the team is polite and the rates are good. I enjoy meeting in this spot over a decent meal.
