Go to a wedding show and the guy behind the table says fill out a ballot to win this kit. Cool, my fiancee and I fill out a ballot and we won. Anna phones to tell me I won and gave her the breakdown of our situation and books a time to drop the kit off. A women comes and we met her out front and she starts by calling me by the wrong name. Hmmm some salesperson. Than she starts asking me the same questions as Anna, so this company has no communication skills. We gave her our situation again. Once she found out that we are renting temporary (as mentioned on my ballot) and we are both very trained in health and safety she calls us out and says she can't do this for renters it's only a waste of time and left. So what about wasting our time waiting for you all night and than telling us we won a prize finding out how trained we are and took it back. Wow.
Trust me, your not the only company in Ontario selling this stuff. I did it for 15 years.
I won't be calling you back and I'll spread the word to.

John Lopresti came by tonight and gave a great presentation about emergency preparedness. He is super friendly and knowledgeable about the first aid kit, burn kit, and emergency preparedness kit. We are super pleased with the package we received!

Audrey Hocken from Premium Health and Safety provided education around fire safety in a very understandable way. The presentation inspired my family to take steps to secure our well-being in the event of an emergency.

I was completely taken back by this company…I had gone to the pawlidays show in Caledonia a few weekends ago. I came across this booth, where they said with entering I had a chance to win a keg gift card or an emergency kit valued at $150. A few days later I received a phone call saying how my ballet had been selected for the free $150 dollar emergency kit, and that they would ever so kindly drop it off for me. They mentioned it would be a quick visit where they provide information regarding fire safety, and I would get my free emergency kit. Which I was completely fine with.

(Fast forward to the visit) At the beginning they had asked if we had anyone that would benefit from the kit, so we then put a few of our friends and family. After the presentation the man then starts pulling out smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, and then mentions how it’s a little pricey. $5000 to be exact. We then said we couldn’t make the decision at the moment. He then proceeded to call his manager in-front of us and explain why we were unable to make the purchase that day. So unbelievably unprofessional. Then the manager says we can post pone the payments til July, still not taking our “no” for an answer. Seemed very shady, as to how pushy they were for us to purchase right then and there. It really left me so uncomfortable in my own home. I highly suggest you do yourself a favour and just not accept a “free Kit”. Cause in the end they will want you to purchase some very expensive safety kit and they have a hard time taking “no” for an answer. Let alone the “quick visit” turned into 2 hours on a work night. Really wish I would have read the reviews before allowing this company in my home. Seeing as there’s countless reviews that are very similar to my experience.

I also wish they would have provided the reference sheet at the end of our visit. As after the sales pitch and the very pushy behaviour I wouldn’t have recommended this for anyone, let alone my family and friends. Thankfully I was able to call and have them not contact any of my family and friends again.

I would like to remain anonymous on the internet. Thank you very much. I refuse to allow you to bully me into posting my information. Just like your rep tried to bully me into getting a package. Your only response to every negative comment is that our statements are un true. But all the 1 star comments are the same. Your manager did a fine job acting so condescending on the phone when I call to talk about the situation, That I can guarantee I will never deal with your “small business” again. I am a huge supporter of small businesses and locally owned business’s but I can truthfully say I have never been pushed into buying their product, or left feeling so uneasy in my own home. Your rep and your manager do not take no for an answer. So how would you have liked me to tell them to stop pushing prices and product on me. Hope your business works on their approach. As this was such a distasteful experience.

One last thing…you might want to work on your customer service skills. As the way a small business succeeds is by word of mouth. By the way you responded to this negative feedback, bringing up someone passing gas. It just shows you don’t not care about taking criticism and making your company better. So thank you for proving to the internet mine and multiple others points.

Said I won a safety kit but had to have a in house visit to get it. Then they would not come because my partner was not available. Apparently one person isn’t allowed to do this alone.

Appears to be a “time share” like process. Get a mediocre freebie then try and sell you on high priced safety packages once inside your house.

No thanks! Keep your free kit.

Also didn’t think I would have to explain the fact I’m a single parent family. Guess I’m doomed to be unequipped in a fire since there’s not another adult to save me.

Called and said that we won a prize and they would drop it off. It’s just a script so that you can have a salesperson come into your house to “teach” you basic fire safety. Don’t lie to people on the phone and try to come into their homes in the evening after work. Find a better marketing tactic. Very misleading and dishonest.

Edit based on your response: Your consultant came to the house and said that they provide a "gift" that is only received after we sit down and listen to the full sales pitch. We had explained on the phone that we couldn't have people come into the house that night, but that we would gladly accept the prize that we were told we won. We never received the prize and I have doubts if we actually won a prize as the person who came to the house said we don't get anything until they come inside and listen the full pitch. If we won a prize, you have my number, call me and figure out a time to drop it off - no sales needed.

I went for an “interview” with this company today, it’s a pyramid scheme.

I had a knowledgeable meeting with Audrey hocken. I was very impressed about the products for fire safety her Company is offering. Never have I seen such products in the market.
I am going to recommend her to all my friends.i am thankful and grateful for her time cause I take firesafety seriously.

Overpriced “free” gift.

This isn’t about a “free” kit. It’s about selling crazy expensive home fire systems. The whole presentation is tacky and just a slow lead up to show you there very expensive products, oh and you are welcome to start a “career” with them if your interested.

Nothing against the sales agent. It’s more the way the company went about the interaction from beginning to end. Claiming that your name was drawn for a free emergency kit. The deception began at the show, continued through the phone call and was truly revealed during the presentation.

Save people’s precious time and be up front. If your product was as good as your agent wanted us to believe, it would sell itself without the drawn out fluff.

This was sketchy and misleading. I entered to “win a fire safety kit” at the Toronto auto show. I was called and told I won and that someone would be by to drop off the kit and go over what is inside. They sent a sales guy to do his presentation and try to sell us 10 grand worth of smoke detectors. This took up almost 2 hours of our time on a Saturday. HUGE waste of our time and the sales persons. No fault to him but the company is misleading and straight up lying to book appointments. The sales guy had no idea about the “win a fire safety kit” deal anyways as he presented the kit that I “won” as a “gift for having him out”. Super terrible way to book appointments. If these guys have a raffle at your local event. Run

We had an appointment today and no one showed. Too bad, my husband is a firefighter and we were interested in hearing more. Turns out they no showed my friend too. Beware, feels very scammy to me!

Honest, on time and very easy to understand

Ashley Cox introduced us to Premium Health and Safety’s Fire/CO2 Protection Package. She was very knowledgeable and informative in her presentation. Having purchased the product, we feel secure in knowing that a state of the art product is protecting us now and in the future. In a off chance meeting with Ashley subsequently, I told her we were reluctant to test the system, in case we didn’t know how to silence it. She offered to walk us through the procedure again. Her commitment to the company’s products and her ongoing support is truly appreciated.

We had a visit from Premium Health and Safety. The amazing safety advisor they sent out made us a lot more knowledgeable on fire safety and the common misconceptions. I met Derek and Lisa at a home show in Ancaster a few weeks ago. They called me afterwards and a very nice representative brought an emergency kit to my home and provided some fire safety tips and information at the same time. It was eye opening and informative to say the least! I decided to invest in the network and I am happy to know my family and pets will be safe should the unthinkable happen. The water sensor already alerted me to a leak I didn’t know about and saved me what could have been a costly repair to my basement. Thank you Premium Health & Safety!

I filled in a fire safety survey at a craft show recently. Didn't think much more about it, but about a week later I got a call. Lady said I was gonna get a free safety kit and some safety stickers and someone would deliver it and talk to me about home fire safety. I have 2 kids so this sounded important. I'm so glad I listened to the man who came. He was professional and explained many fire safety issues I would've never thought about. Definitely worthwhile having this done.

Premium Health and Safety had a rep come to our house and shared a lot of fire safety information. Our kids were very interested and asked a lot of questions. The Safety advisor was very informative and answered all our questions. We felt safer and now we have a spot to meet in case of a fire in our house. We were given an amazing 180 pc emergency kit that covers minor cuts to burns. Our family is more knowledgeable and we have the system that will protect our family and alert us to safety quickly. We have a sense of relief when we are not home as we have many family pets.

The staff at Premium Health and Safety are very professional and extremely educated in the field of fire safety. I believed our home was as protected as possible for our family, but I was so wrong. The information provided by these individuals was an eye opener for us. Would highly recommend everyone take the time to get educated by these professionals.

I filled out the on line survey to get the free first aide kit. I received a call from the company the next day but when I advised that we were not comfortable with someone coming into our house because of Covid they hung up on me.

A company that specializes in safety that hangs up because of a valid safety concern? We have a vulnerable child in our home.

I guess the “free” kit is not so free.

These people are not profession Fire safety Advisors. They are given a piece of paper or scrip to learn and use to try and sell fire products.beware.talk to your local fire prevention officer at your local fire department if you need advise.how can you learn fire safety in 3 days, when it takes a 3 year college course to become a fire prevention officer.this company is a scam.

Fortunately, I had a friend referred me to Premium Health and Safety, after a massive flood in my basement. Now, not only am I protected if mositure is detected but also if smoke gets detected in my home.

We never realized how uneducated we were when it came to the fire safety in our home. We personally thought the standard fire alarms were enough. I would highly recommend setting up an appointment and take the time to listen to the information provided by Premium Health & Safety as it has changed the outlook I have on how my home and family should be protected. As parents of four children and with both my husband and I working an hour away from our home. We have the peace of mind knowing that if anything were to happen in our home, in regards to a fire, flood or carbon monoxide leak being detected.we will be notified via text. Very interesting and eye opening experience. The gentlemen Damian Atrens was very easy to talk to. Presentations were great and very informative. Installation of product went very well. The gentlemen even helped with all the technology that needed to be completed.

Had an appointment on saturday with Chelsea. I learned a lot about fire safety and about how unprepard we are in case of one! She was very helpful and answered any questions I had, along with teaching me some valuable and life saving information.

The certified safety advisors give out lifesaving information that I didnt even realize I was missing out on! I appreciate the time they took to educate my family on fire, flood, and carbon monoxide safety.
