Excellent service given by Megha. I was completely impressed with her professionalism and customer service. Also the ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable.

Previously: Visiting this restaurant, after a gap of few years. The last time we went, our European friend wanted to try Bengali/Bangladeshi and we were so happy with the Quality, Quantity and Service provided by the staff.

Current: Fast forward to November 2023, had similar expectations, however very disappointed with the "waiters" working. Food, taste and quality was on point however the quantity has been reduced bcoz they use different serving dishes conpared to what they had. We went as a group of 4 all from different backgrounds. Asia, Canadian, Africa.

'Premium Sweets' is for Family and friends, and is supposed to be upscale friendly hospitality. But it's sad and pathetic the (indian) wiaters they hired to work here are far from it. Seems like all the 'Recent 1 star rating' from customers comes from the indian waiters working here. It's abysmal. Premium sweets owners should go back to replacing these cheap indian workers with proper hospitality oriented Bengalis that have worked or have an education in this field. 'aaditya' was one of the server boy who all 4 of us didn't like. He is probably new to Canada and doesn't have much knowledge or culture bcoz of where he comes from. The girls working are a bit better, but do not seem interested. They only working to get Canadian PR! If this is the type of people the Management hires then the rating will fall for sure.

Hoping they will take proper corrective actions. Let's go 'Premium Sweets' you can do it.

Best mithai in the game. For a mithai/sweets enthusiast, I would say this is the best I’ve ever had. Their sweets are not too sweet, and still have so much flavour. We actually ordered the sweets for our wedding party favours as well! People were obsessed! The pick up process was seamless. We made the box prior to test out the weight and cost. The staff allowed us to try as many sweets as we wanted to make the box perfect for the wedding! I love Premium Sweets!

What a terrible Service keep on going bad to worst
came here at 1 pm today place was pretty much empty still staff is roaming around not interested in taking any orders.used to be good place for Dewali sweets shopping not anymore.

I ordered goat rezala. Positive thing is food taste is still good. But the portion was very disappointing, especially when you are already paying extra premium and so 2 stars

Great dessert variety and quality. Hands down one of the best desserts in entire GTA region. Their Bengali sweets are a must try.

By far one of the best sweets experience! There's a varied variety of sweets. Some of them not seen anywhere else!

No doubt in my mind, the food was old. I’ve had fresh sweets and faloodas from here before and they tasted great. Today they were so bad I had to throw away half the flooda and the sweets weren’t good either. This leads to believe the food was old or tye falooda was not made properly.

Our dine-in experience on 23rd Nov 2021 was terrible. The goat rezala was served at room temperature. When we politely asked the hostess/waitress she said she "literally got it from the kitchen". That doesn't change the fact that the meat being served is at room temperature which can be deadly. The food itself was a huge mixed bag. I was hoping she would offer to heat it again but that didn't happen. The samosas ("shingara") were quite good and have a unique vegetarian stuffing that's quite tasty. The bhel puri is a huge failure with hardly any flavor profile at all. The "hot chot Poti" is basically a hot chaat without the "hot" aspect. I think if you are from any part of India apart from Bengal, you might find the food here to be light on flavor and heavy on prices. I tried. I shall skip the dining altogether next time and just pick up the desserts/sweets for gifting.

It was like being left alone in a sweet fantasy land. The word to describe the fragrance, smell and taste of this sweets wonderland is not yet coined. Its simply sweetilicious. Purchase their Misthi Doi, (remarkable and brings the memory of Bengal to your tongue) and Was Malai. Though the actual sweet was delicious, the syrup was a little watery. I know its a bit far from my place, but I am going to go back for more of their heavenly sweets. Friends, if you enjoy and have a sweet to the like me, here is the place to visitm- and to hell with your waistline.

Premium means high or top quality. It is a Bangladeshi restaurant and take out store. They also do catering.

Yes their main dish like polao, morog polao etc are really tasty but rice portion is not that much.their snack items are also good, and serving amount is also good. But the Fuchka which is popular in Bangali community, serving portion is too low compared with price.
Sweet dishes are also top quality.

However they need to improve their serving SPEED.they are very slow. Don't know why they take it this slow.when you dine in and order it takes 20 to 30 min the order to come.e to you. Also the prices are so high.the morog polao is 15$ per plate, sweet dish lowest price started at 12.99$ per lb which you can say regular laddu you can find in indian sweet store for 6$ or 7$ per lb.

Also they are representing Bangladesh but nothing looks like Bamgladesh.they always play hindi music and they mentioned its due to more indian customers. I never seen an Indian dhaba playing other county music because it has more bengali customer.qll the servers are indian.all the locations has same. I wanted to feel Bangladeshi vibe but it looks like mostly indian.
But we still go to premium and spend 100$ each time. All I just cannot say its Bangladeshi restaurant.

Service and quality is very good. Mandeep kaur serves us very well. In professional manners so I am giving 5 stars for the service of that girl. Really appreciate it.

Purchased rusmalai. Next day itself fowl smell was coming. Had to throw everything. Keep taste aside. Didn't expect they would give such things even after charging atleats 2 times more price when compared to other sweet shops.

We are a frequent visitor to their Scarborough location. Last weekend we visited the Mississauga Location and our experience is "one star"! They are still serving food on disposable plates whereas other dine-in restaurants moved back to proper plates and cutleries. The biriyani/tehari was not fresh and they were full of black peppers. They took 30 minutes to just serve the tea. The waiter did not come to the table frequently. Every time we needed something, we had to leave the table to go to the counter and ask for things. The water was refilled after several requests. Another lady who took the payment was not nice as well. I gave 10% tip for nothing.no service at all.still did not receive a thanks or smile. I am definitely not going there again.

When reached the store, it was closed for the day but the staff let us in and treated us so well. Love Nadia Shondesh

The quality of bhog sagar to me has deteriorated at lot amid increasing the price by double over few years. I think this item is their signature menu and they should work diligently to keep the quality consistent.

Horrible horrible experience at premium sweets, I went to buy Doi fuchka (meethi poori) and the lady named Preet who was the supervisor as per her badge, ignored our request to add spicy water with the order even though we were willing to pay for it and she was extremely rude and couldn't care less about customer. I have never experienced this kind of behavior in a restaurant

Lots of variety of South Asian sweets. Had the papri chat. It was delicious. The chicken kabob combo was filling and chicken was tender.

I visited this place a few years back when it was new and only had sweets and desserts. The quality was good and even though they had high prices but it was reasonable compared to the quality.

Recently I visited and was shocked to see the unjustified high prices and low quality food.
I ordered falooda that was for $8.99 medium glass, and horrible in taste. It was full with tasteless vermicelli. The price justified as per quality would be $2.99 nothing more than that but they charged $8.99 per glass.
The sweet yogurt was $13.99 small container. Although the taste was good but extremely unjustified high priced.
The sweets were not that good a quality to charge $17.99 / lb.

A plate for one person is minimum $19.99 or 18.99. I would rather go to a buffet dinner somewhere else and pay $25.99 for a dozen varieties in food.
A message to owners is charging such unjustified high prices is simple greed and a shame.

Chats and sweets are very tasty, sad they no longer make sugar-free sweets and Fruit cake. Thanks Amy for taking care of us always smiling, I strongly suggest this place for sweets and food.

They are more like the TOOTSIE ROLL of sweets). Any Indian sweet maker makes sweets like them, nothing exquisite.

Visited after 3 years. Tastes seems ok but the quantity is much lesser than the last time. I expected little bit more as I paid $20 for the kacchi.

Nice sweets. Needs a little bit of improvement to match the Indian authentic taste. Not all sweets r good. Ensure u finish rasgulla the same day u buy. The taste becomes bad next day.

Ordered Valima roast taste was good but the gravy quantity was pretty less also the leg and thigh was small.

If you like a $20 goat rezala served in a disposable container when dining in, then you are ok. I wasn't. We had fuchka, jhalmuri, 2 hot chot poti, 1 beef tehari, 1 chicken biriyani, 1 goat rezala, garlic Naan and some beverages. Being a bengali myself, I can tell apart difference between fuchka and pani puri. I didn't taste the authenticity in fuchka. Hot chot poti was pretty good, enjoyed it. This place is extremely famous for its sweets and we could see that from the footfalls at their sweetshop area. Having dinner at Karahi Boys the night before, this dining experience took an inferior spot in my eyes. But it could have been just me or the day I chose. I wasn't expecting eating out of disposable plates with disposable cutlery and glass. It didn't go well alongside the bright ambiance this restaurant offered.

If your looking for the best of the best quality sweets, premium sweets lives up to its name. Super fresh. Light, and stunning milk based products.

Tried Dal khichidi was good sweets are good 2 but price point for sweets are high compared to brarr and other equally good sweet places

Best Bengali sweets period! Don't expect the same with food though. Tried mutton Biryani on their staff's recommendation, steeply priced and perhaps the worst Biryani I've had in a long long time.

Worst Service Ever. I ordered 3 faludas because the chat items were not in stock. They made me wait 40 minutes for just 3 faludas. The items were not worth the expensive price and my time. The 40 minutes are only my time wasted in the store, a lot of my time was also wasted in the line outside of the store.

Worst experience. I ordered two lb sweets and paid them in advance. I was supposed to pick it up anytime before 8 pm. When I reached to pickup and I showed my receipt.they were like not paying attention and attending new customers. After 35 mins still they were asking yeah we are making. Made me to wait more than 45 minutes which was already given ealier They wasted my time. I would never do my business with them.

The most bloody disorganized business i have ever seen.came all the way from ottawa to take some food for my family.entrance was confusing as hell.no clear line.a lady came and asked is someone helping you? The other lady took her and redirected her somewhere else.ridiculous! Came out without buying anything.but who cares? The is a food place and runs no matter what.this was in Mississauga location. If i could give it 0 stars i would.

I ordered Singara from this place today and when i tasted it there was no salt, so from next time please taste your food before selling to the customers.

Not managed well, staff is OK, you gotta talk to them.
Nobody cares if you are lost there. People stay at counters and customers don’t know where to go and what to do. Train ur staff and organize entrance and greeting part please

We went there and ordered veg samosas nd got non vegetarian ones the girl who took the order she never confronted us she never apologized she was hiding when nd we wanted to see the manager they said he’s not here we are not coming back.

Bought Aadhi chicken biryani today: (Can we have negative star? WORST ever biryani I ate in my life. Only boiled rice with boiled chicken piece with some fried onions. Never ever going to have it from them again. I wish I can post my comment without giving any star. Too much disappointed: (

Whenever I crave for some delicious and authentic Bengali sweets, this has been my go to place. The sweets are fresh and very delicious. I would also recommend to try samosas, they are so yummy.

I have always loved PS. Giving 2 star for today’s experience. I called to order 15 Singaras and specifically asked to make them fresh. I arrived 20 mins after the call. They took another 5/7 mins to bring them from kitchen. But guess what! When I brought them for a office party in next 15 mins, I found them cold. So embarrassing as I brought them for office party saying they will ne served hot. So disappointed PS- experiences ruined completely. I called the store to speak to manager. Told me she was busy and will call me back. They never did.

The foods are not so good as before. And the customer service is very bad. They don’t even know how to pack. They put my curry and rice together.

Ambience and the food is great with good customer service. Price is pretty much reasonable for an upscale restaurant like this one. The food was delicious as it had traditional taste. Elish polau and Tehari is a must try.

I think the only sweet shop recommendation in gta. All of there's sweets and the food section is awesome.

I'll give 3 star for the variety sweets and quality of the sweets. Its overall a great stop to get regional Bengali sweets from India.
We have also tried their Ghee which is really of good quality. Most sweets seemed fresh enough to try and gift to others. I can give a 4 star for overall good services and free sample tasting of sweets here.

But 1-2 (ONE to TWO) STAR for the Food section. We went for a quick bite during lunch time on a Friday. Ordered Faluda kulfi, Chaat papri and a Fish curry with rice pulow and lacha paratha.
Chaat papri was mixed with yoghurt, blend tamarind chutney, spicy chhole curry and some garnishing of sev+cilantro.
Fish curry was made from Bengali delicacy fish Hilsha.
Faluda kulfi had ita typical ingredients with some addition of Rasgulla in it.

Fish curry had for some reason very strong Horseradish taste which was new for me. It was agreeable when tride with rice, but still very strong taste of horseradish.
The most disappointing rather sad part was bad fish meat. It is understandable not to get a fresh Hilsha fish 14k km away from its natural habitat but serving a fish that has gone bad is a NO NO! And deserve no sympathy in my eyes. I had to stop after 3-4 bites when I reached the center gone bad part of the fish stake.
THINK HUNDRED TIMES before trying out exotic Fish curries at this place.

Chaat papri was not as per our expectations when compared with other restaurants. However it might be agreeable to others. In the chaat mix, the papri and tamarind chutney was not enough so we had to request little extra top ups of paapri and tamarind chutney. It still dont balance the tase though.

We couldn't finish either Chaat papri or Fish curry and had to return empty stomach with off mood and after taste of Horseradish just after 3-4 bites. HORRIBLE experience for food section.
Faluda kulfi was good and nothing wrong with it. It had a good balance of milk, ice cream and other toppings.

If i can get a reply from this restaurant for Fish quality and an effort for an improvement I might give another try for main course food here to change my opinion. But so far for now, thats what I had experienced.

Wanted to give a zero.all dishes taste the same.absolutely bland. Looks like they are trying to make continental meals out of Indian food. Presentation is good but not the content.

Lovely ambience, very courteous staff and awesome sweets; BUT was not sure about their food so ordered Beef Jhol which was a disaster - was more like a clumsy attempt at kadhai/tawa beef - the meat was hard & fibrous, the gravy very thick - am now scared to try their Ilish fare - guess sweets is their core competence

So this is not ur regular sweets corner with Indian chaat papri street food items. Their presentation is just top notch and food is really tasty. Superb food and ambiance

4 Star for the sweet shop but 3 star for the Restaurant. All pre prepared and over priced food items. If you want to have a authentic Bengali lunch here be prepared to get disappointed. However the dahi phuchka, papri chat, mango lassi for a quick snack would be really good here but on the cost of some extra dollars. Enjoy!

They served us the fluda and you can’t evn chew the noodles inside it.definitely not going back to this place.buisness tip - if you knw a customer wants to talk and having concern - just confront the person.

We have always liked Premium's food and whenever we are in Mississauga, we visit this retaurant for eat-in or take-out. Yesterday in the afternoon, we have bought one box of Kacchi Biriyani take out from Premium Sweets Mississauga Branch and just now found out they have cooked it with a dead bug! I am glad that this nasty bug was found after one spoon, first I thought it is a "Raisin" and then saw the legs! Completely disgusting and heart broken! With the first spoon the taste of the Kacchi was good and we are throwing this out now. Just requesting, as the top Bangladeshi Food Restaurant in Canada, please take more caution and care on the cleanliness how you prepare your food.

They have lot of variety of sweets and taste is real good. I will say one of the best Indian Sweet place in GTA.

Very poor service! Food test was not as good as it was before over price + take forever to place an order or get your food!
