Within 10mimutes of posting this review I recieved 6 calls one right after the other and a voicemail, until I answered the phone. Office manager Angie proceeded to berade me, stating that it takes longer than 6 hours to approve the medicine request and my dog would have to hold on until they were ready. Unfortunately with his pain that seems very unreasonable, he needed relief. Instead of apologizing for not contacting me about my dog who is handling this pain sooner, she scolded me asking why I didn't answer the phone to them as I was breastfeeding my son! These people do not care about the well-being of animals but only about getting paid. If you can dish out $500 of tick and flea medication you should be able to fill a prescription for pain relief. I would go to a different vet that has secretarial staff who can conduct themselves accordingly and save your animal pain.

The receptionist at this clinic does not care about animals. My dog hurt his back while my family and I were visiting relatives 3 hours away. We had to bring him to a vet whom prescribed the lowest dose of gabapentin for his discomfort. The day we returned home he had run out of the prescription he had used for 4 days prior and seemed fine. However when we returned home he was wining and having trouble settling. Since I had brought him to the clinic before, my 2 other dogs, as well as my cat (that very day for a sinus infection), I assumed they would be able to refill the prescription for him that the other vet location would fax over. Instead, the secretary was extremely uncaring and told me I "should go to my pharmacist". She would not even listen to me speak and continually cut me off with rude remarks about my inability to spend another examination fee just days after we had just done so with the other vet. I explained we have a newborn and things are tight to spend another $120 to get the same prognosis and then buy the medicine, could they not simply fill what the other vet prescribed. I was made to feel like I was somehow pill seeking although this is not an ipiod or narcotic, it's for dogs! Needless to say the receptionist did not call me back with an update although I provided 3 different numbers to her. Today my husband drove 6 HOURS there and back to get the medication for my poor dog. This was the most difficult situation that could have been so much easier if my dogs well-being was priority over paying examination fees.

Always receive great care for our dog. The vets and staff have all been consistently great to work with. The only negatives would be that it can be difficult to get an appointment (as it is in every vet clinic, it seems), and that sometimes follow up messages aren't carried through from the vet staff that the front end staff. But they often are quick to remedy the situation if we call and ask.
