I had to secure legal representation, following a serious injury that I had sustained from a slip and fall.
At first, I felt very intimidated at the thought of pursuing a lawsuit. I was quickly reassured by the support, and expertise and guidance that I received from my lawyer Kal S and his colleague, Diane T.
The combination of multiple surgeries and delays to legal proceedings as a result of Covid restrictions, made for a very lengthy process – five Years! I was, however, prepared in advance that this type of proceeding could potentially take years to be resolved.
Kal was always responsive whenever I had questions and I felt that he was genuine in his concern for me and made sure that I was compensated fairly.
I chose not to pursue the matter beyond mediation as I felt that I could not emotionally invest any more time.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The person that does intake for this firm, Jeff, is the embodiment of the skeevy lawyer stereotype. He lacks empathy and I recommend anyone that is going through the traumatic experience of injury from a car accident avoids this firm. He wasn’t interested in the details of the accident or the extent of the injuries and will only care if you have lost life or limb. He couldn’t get off the phone fast enough, said he had to “stop you there” and that he had other things to do then hung up.
