I’m always a walk in to get nails done and they always fit me in. They asked me to use the hand sanitizer and fill out the contact tracing form. I was happy to do that. The staff was wearing masks. As usual. There was plexiglass at the pedicure station. The girl that did my pedicure is very sweet, and efficient. I’ve gone to this location many times since it’s close to home.i will go back too!

There was a review 2 weeks ago for Kaitlyn with a low rating. I must comment on this as I was a customer in Kim's chair at this time this happened. The customer was extremely rude. She spoke disrespectfully and down to Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn never raised her voice back. I don't know what the problem with the ladies nails were but I had a very good view of them as she interrupted my manicure and put her nails into my view/space as she discussed her complaint with Kim who was doing my nails. Kim handled the situation as customer knows best and had the other technician redo the ladies nails. I have been coming to Pretty Nails off and on for years and have tried many different nail salons in Aurora and Newmarket and I find Pretty Nails Spa the best. All three ladies are professional and hard working and my nails are perfect every time. Given them a try. You will be delighted by everyone especially Kaitlyn who is a lovely woman. You can even book appointments online. Their store is clean, bright, comfortable chairs including massage chairs for pedicures. Their appointments run on time and their services well priced. Since they have been under new management I now only get my nails done at Pretty Nails Spa in Aurora. They are in the Home Depot plaza. Give them a try and I am sure you will be delighted as I have been.

I’ve been going to this nail place for years (before new management) and I have to say I go because Kaitlyn is absolutely amazing! I always get a mani and pedi with shellac and every time I’m always a happy customer. Kaitlyn is a true professional, always helps me pick the best colours and overall does an awesome job (my shellac always lasts longer then if I go somewhere else). I would recommend booking an appointment because it can get busy at certain times.

I asked my co worker where to go in a hurry on my lunch break to get my nails done for a wedding i am in tomorrow. She called her nail tech Kim and she booked me in right away. I am so unbelievably happy with how my nails turned out. They are exactly what i wanted, and Kim is so friendly and nice to sit and chat with. The only reason I go to this spa is because of Kaitlin, who is literally the best manicurist in Aurora. She is A+ and has loyal customers who come from all over, who like myself refuse to have anyone else touch their nails. Her work is perfection, she is efficient and I have never had a single problem with her. She is also the nicest, friendliest and most professional spa person I have ever dealt with. Kaitlin is a true pro, and I hope the owners of Pretty Nails recognize how valuable she is. I love her!

Pretty Nails spa is under new management and I highly recommend a visit. I have been to many nail spa's. I finally found a location that has great pricing AND exceptional service (no sacrificing one for the other). All of the staff love what they do, therefore the work is always done right. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Special thank you to Kim who is a great conversationalist, hard worker and all around lovely women! Nails can be expensive and time consuming. Go to pretty nails where the job will be done right the first time and your wallet will thank you!

New management is good, however their employee named Kaitlyn, or Kaylen? Is from when the old management team was in effect. She is so rude and disrespectful you would amazed. I went there today, she completed a full refill with shellac in less than 30 minutes.

Upon completion of my nails I had noticed the layers of the colour were not even, causing it to go on my skin on some nails, and be darker in some areas. Not only this, but some nails were different lengths than others (which I was okay living with, proper colour was my concern).

My mother was also getting her nails done by a nice woman named Helen, whom did a wonderful job at the time. I brought my nails to Helens attention and asked if she would repaint them and she kindly accepted without hesitation.

At the time of Helen redoing my nails, Kaitlyn stepped in and said “I get paid for her”. - meaning, she wants to ensure even though Helen is completing the job, she wants the commission or pay of my service (however it works between them). I ignored her, and so did Helen. About 5 minutes later I over heard Kaitlyn again speaking with the manager yelling “it’s not my fault”, I turned to her and said “you completed my nails in 26 minutes and didn’t care what it looked like” that’s when she said. “YOU SHUT UP”

I was surprised, and said excuse me? And she said “don’t talk to me, I’ll talk to you outside! ” And started yelling at my mother whom was laughing she was so surprised at what was happening.

Embarrassed, Kim, the manager kept apologizing for Kaitylns behaviour and said “please come back, just not to her, I’m sorry, I will talk to her, I need people to come we are new management and it’s hard to find people”

I made it clear, that unfortunately employees like Kaitlyn will ruin a business’ reputation.

Again, Kim and Helen are wonderful, however Kaityln will unfortunately bring this place down with her bad attitude. Owner should be aware and make necessary changes.

This salon, and Kaitlyn in particular, were recommended to me when I moved to the area last year. Ever since my first appointment with Kaitlyn she has been very accommodating, professional, friendly and has done an amazing job! My nails always look amazing thanks to her and I look forward to my appointments with Kaitlyn because there’s always a good chat, some laughs and she does a terrific job with everything. The salon is nice too, with MANY colour options and a long list of available services. I highly recommend Kaitlyn and Pretty Nail Spa!
