Pretty Rad / The Eighth Note Local Eatery and Live Music Bar

An enjoyable atmosphere and the food was very good. There is a nice patio for the summer months. Service was excellent.

First time having lunch at the eighth note eatery will be back for sure. On top of all the other stuff they treat veteran's really well.

Great service, great food. Nothing to complain about. Love supporting local Milton businesses like these.

I cannot say enough about Milton's new dining gem. If you haven't tried it.it is a must. But not only because of the food (huge, high quality portions) but because of the great atmosphere and service. The staff are friendly and happy, they have different themes every single day and their live music every weekend is such a welcoming touch to downtown Milton again. The patio is in the perfect location especially when there is something happening on Main Street.

I have visited this place a few times and it’s been hit or miss with the menu items; there’s been a few times where what I’ve wanted isn’t available or sold out which can be disappointing when you’re craving something specific. However, the crispy chicken sandwich is tasty and at such a large portion pretty filling!

Food and service were fantastic but one star off because I ended my night with a headache due to the restaurant somehow beginning to blast their music towards the end of our time there and it was still too loud (maybe even turned up again) after we asked them to tone it down.

The atmosphere was fun and friendly. The food was incredible and the service was good too.

Fantastic food. 10/10. Amazing! The service was attentive and gracious. You could tell the server really wanted us to enjoy our service and experience. It’s about half an hour away from where I live but I would happily go back as soon as possible!

A great time. The food was excellent and so was the service, very friendly and quick. Try the pork croquetas, they were delicious.

I hosted a big birthday there with the whole placed filled with family and friends. The team at Pretty Rad executed the event flawlessly. The menu is amazing with a special nod to the tacos, sliders, cauliflower bites and chicken wings. The staff are attentive to detail and very friendly. They made the event extra special and would happily recommend to those dining downtown Milton. 10/10

I’m impressed

Party of 5 - we tried the carne asada tacos (nice heat, pickled onions make this taco), fish tacos (hint of sweetness, nice crispy fish), pollo sammy (nice heat, crispy, good amount of avocado), skirt steak sandwich (very tender and juicy), and chorizo toast (the only fail - soggy, oily, lacked flavour). The fries were also really nice and thick!

They have late night menu which is snacks and share dishes (chips, tortilla chips and dips) the menu have 9 main snacks items and 3 side items, we went Saturday night at 9: 45 pm and the restaurant will close at 12: 00 am and the kitchen at 11: 30 pm, but when we want to order we shocked when many items not available on that time (Maple Sriracha chips, charred brussel sprouts, El Ceviche and Truffle fries) then we asked the waiter which items were available then she mentioned couple other items, we ordered { Arica wings and Sizzling Camaron (shrimp) }, the Sizzling was very yummy and good but the wings have 14 spices blended and have too much Cumin, the Cumin in general it a strong flavor, if you put few will cove on other spices, therefore if you order the wings you will feel the Cumin right away more than other flavors,
The beer of their signature was very good but the Heineken beer was not good (no gas and very light) we called the waiter and change it to the signature beer.
The services was very good and waiter was very nice with high of hospitality

Had the Bonita Burger. Tasted amazingly with their specialty sauce. It had this crispy cheese cracker "thingy" that added a nice burst of flavor. Recommend.

Such a cute place. AMAZING BURGER! My partner and I both ordered the same thing and agreed it is the best burger we’ve had at any restaurant in years. The place is really cute, clean, and staff was great! You could tell our server really enjoyed her job (at least that day) which speaks volumes about how the place must be run. She was knowledgeable and friendly but not annoying at all, and upsold us to specialty fries which normal we wouldn’t do, but said yes without hesitation because of her not pushy and genuine recommendation. The only thing negative I could possibly come up with to say about this place was the playlist pretty sad playlist BUT everything else was amazing and we will definitely be back hopefully on a weekly basis. The lavender lemon drink was also amazing. Would LOVE to see them open a location in Toronto where we live so we don’t have to travel so far!

All I have to say is Delicious! Milton doesn’t really have a lot of good places to eat but Pretty Rad was great. Great location. We sat outside and just enjoyed our food and people watching. Very nice family day.
Will order the truffle fries and sliders again and tacos. Also, our waitress was nice and their service was fast. Going back again.

Food was good, but portions were small, and still charged full price. Just had appetizers and still managed to spend $200 and left hungry. Nice atmosphere, but music was too loud to hear the people at my table.

Was here for a private function and had a great time. All the food was great, staff was attentive and made some excellent cocktails! Would love to go back for dinner another evening.

We were at a wedding party at RAD everything was fantastic everyone enjoyed themselves very much food was different from normal but excellent great spot for a private party

The cocktails are amazing, the food even better. I took my wife and kid to this place. The food was so good that I had to make a boys night out here. The cocktails are unique and delicious. Sadly they don’t serve the pickerel here anymore due to it having some bones in it, however the rainbow trout is just mouth watering. The burgers or steak tacos are awesome as well. Out of the menu the only thing I would say that is disappointing is the wings. Other than that the staff, food, drinks, cleanliness, and pricing is good. I had reservations bringing my family here knowing it was associated to the rad bros establishment but I have to say I’m glad I took the plunge. Same owners but different clientele. Have I said the food is awesome already? !? !?

This place is decent but definitely lacks consistency, when the head bartender is there (can't remember her name) the Drinks are pretty good but everyone else seems to screw them up. The food is good but service is lacking a bit.

I'm sure it's been said, but this place is pretty rad.
We visited on a hot day and sat on the patio. Unlike some of the other reviews, we were fortunate to have hit a time that was not busy or crowded. The service was friendly, attentive and fast. Another bonus is that Main Street is a great place to watch luxury, vintage and totally unique cars and bikes roll by.
What impressed me where the cocktails, as we had visited Rad Brothers and it was more of a traditional sports bar/pub.
This is a different vibe and theme for sure.
It was also awesome to see a variety of menu items for Vegetarians and meat eaters alike, and the food was really fresh.
The 'shareables' are also perfect to order as a meal! The portions are so generous. The experience and the food were perfect, and exceeded expectations.
Will be back soon and often.

Returned a second time with my family after a great first experience with friends. They don’t have a kids menu but they offer chicken strips and fries to accommodate kids and it must have been really good because they finished everything which rarely happens! Tried 2 different bowls and both were fantastic!

Nice place, food and the atmosphere are great. One downfall is that the kitchen closes early. Last call is at 11pm on the weekend and even that is only from the sharables section of the menu.

Great atmosphere, service is friendly and most of all I really love the different types of gluten-free options.

The location and building this restaurant is in is really cool! Heart of downtown milton with the clock tower etc. Very nice.

They have a great drink menu with both beautiful colorful cocktails with floral garnishes and smokey bourbon cocktails for late night sipping.

The food in general is good but is the reason the review doesnt get 5 stars. In the 4 or 5 times I've gone there were some items our table didn't care for and the value isn't tremendous considering the competitions' prices and food offerings in close proximity.

That being said the atmosphere in the restaurant is very trendy, it's a good place to socialize over some drinks and meet new people.
