Have just had one appointment but the staff were extremely friendly and I am confident that I made the right choice in selecting PAH and Maggie May agrees with the decision.

We used this vet for just over 4 years, for our Bernedoodle Eddie. We always felt that they were expensive and trying to upsell us - clearly this is a business first, caregivers next. Our worst experience came this past weekend, that ended with us having to euthanize our beloved boy who was only 4.5 years old. We went to PAH after Eddie was vomiting and lethargic for a day. After issuing a $1400 hold on my credit card, they completed an exam and an x-ray. The results showed a blockage, and Dr. Flynn went through our options, indicating that surgery would lead to the best outcome given possible complications of removing the blockages. Again, we were given a bill, this time of just below $6500 for surgery - the cost seemed huge, but our Eddie was only 4, and we didn't want our kids to lose their family pet and we had reason to feel it was straight forward fix. Eddie had to wait until the middle of the night for his surgery, and we received word that the surgery went well. The following day, it was one complication after another, again with what we felt like each phone call and next phase of care costing more and more money. The evening after the surgery, we got a final call from the clinic that Eddie wasn't doing well and that he needed another surgery to see what went wrong, and that they couldn't do it because the surgeon canceled on coming in, so if we went ahead with a second surgery, Eddie would be transferred. Either this, or euthanize. We made the hard decision to say goodbye to Eddie, after being concerned at affordability of a second surgery. When we arrived back to the clinic with our children to say goodbye to Eddie for the last time, they withheld Eddie from us, until we looked at the bill (which they already charged us with).

UPDATE: we now understand after a conversation with one of the Vets who relayed information from the surgeon that the additional surgery would NOT have repaired the damage. We are now wondering why they offered this expensive option to begin with. If they did their due diligence and reviewed the notes, and spoke with the surgeon, they should not have offered this as it wouldn't have saved our dog, and only cost us an additional $6000+.

We have recently moved our animals to Princess Animal Hospital and we couldn’t be happier. The care all 3 of our animals have received has been comprehensive and thorough. At each appointment, I have had the opportunity to ask questions and never felt rushed. The care shown to our dogs (especially our rescue who is nervous) and cat demonstrates the commitment and dedication of all the staff. I appreciate the information provided, timely appointments and the after care calls we receive.

When I went to have a rat put down here, I was charged over $300 for it.
I was very upset I was losing her and just payed it without thinking.
Talking to the owner over the phone, she told me the person who booked my apt shoud have warned me about the cost. She also informed me that they charge a flat fee for all animals, regardless of size or species because of thier standard of care.
The prices are very high and they are not sympathetic about it.

Amazing staff. Very informative and helped with how I should move my girl when she couldn't stand up up at all to get her in for care. When I called back they had even talked amongst themselves about options for me and let me know of a few services in town that could help in my situation if it was in the week and happened again, and even offered I check with a telemed to see if I could get prescribed something to make her more comfy before moving her there. Made me feel like they care and I feel more calm about the situation now too. Really appreciate all the help

We had two dealing with Princess Animal Hospital with a very sick dog, Jade. Back in June 2022 was our first experience with the emergency vet. They were very kind and thorough. They explained everything very well and forwarded reports to our regular vet. Last week Jade took a serious turn for the worse. When they opened at 08: 00am we called to explain the situation. We knew Jades time had come and they told us to come in anytime. They were extremely compassionate with all of us and Jade passed over gently and will be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Chantal was above amazing and her treatment of Jade in her last hours gives us comfort in our grief. I would highly recommend Princess Animal Hospital.

I am happy that PAH is available in case of emergencies. Without them, I wouldn't know where to bring my pets when my regular hospital is closed.
Bless this wonderful staff during a time of crisis.

I recieved a card in the mail today, that included my babys paw print, I bawled liked a baby as I am now typing this.
Friday the 13th I had to make the hardest decision ever to put my 12 year old baby to sleep. Everyone there was so kind and so caring. Dr. Lang was amazing. Everyone there was. I want to thank those that were working that night, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there during such a difficult time.

I had to bring my 21 year old cat, Socks, to cross the rainbow bridge. A few things. The staff were so incredibly kind. I wish I knew all your names but thank you for your gentleness and kindness on a difficult day. Dr. Isobel Guzman is an excellent doctor with the best bedside manner i have ever seen. Kind is an understatement as to how this doctor dealt with me and Socks. I really want her to know how much it meant to me and my girl Socks. Understanding, empathic and genuine.
Now for the room my girl and I were brought into for her final moments. No bright fluorescent light, but one pole lamp in the corner of the room with a beige shade for soft lighting, the cold stainless steel table was covered with a brown blanket, no equipment in the room and just homey and peaceful. I have owned many pets and have had to go through this a number of times. This room was set up as a palliative room. It was so nice to be in for my girls final moments.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but thank you to PAH staff for everything you did for Socks and I on November 18th. You are appreciated.

Had an emergency with my puppy. Took her to the urgent care at Princess animal hospital when I got there they said it wouldn’t be too long. Waited hours just to have to go to a different urgent care vet.

Had to take my Maggie to the after-hours clinic. They triage her fairly quickly. We waited a bit but definitely was worth it. They were very busy with much worse cases. They diagnosed and treated her. She has definitely improved since and hopefully will make a full recovery.

My sister brought her cat who was having major health/bladder/kidney issues to this vet THREE TIMES. THREE VET VISITS they told her it was just stress. The cat could not pee, was throwing up, beyond lethargic and clearly dying. Three vet visits and thousands of dollars later, they claim it to be just stress. Thank god my sister is smart enough to know her cat was dying and brought him into a reputable vet. Within 5 minutes he was diagnosed with mega kidney issues, crystal's (which princess claims weren't there) and a blockage. Her cat would have died if she did not bring him somewhere else.
When asked why they managed to mis-diagnose THREE TIMES secretary got nasty on the phone, extremely rude and disrespectful and even hung up the phone and lied about what their names were. IF YOU WANT YOUR ANIMAL TO LIVE DONT BRING THEM HERE.

I had to bring in my pet for a euthanasia. The staff were very kind and compassionate, explaining to me the process and my options without any judgement. They treated my little friend with respect as they took him and offered to send me ink paw prints as a memory. Dr. Flynn in particular was very patient and kind. I appreciate their service.

If I could leave no stars I would. I brought my sick puppy to the emergency clinic after he started acting different. I was told they would need to do blood work which they did and they told me it came back normal. They gave him a anti-nausea shot and a water shot and sent him home. The next day I brought him back to the clinic as he was still not himself, again they gave him the two shots and sent him on his way. They did not follow up with me nor did they seem to care or see the urgency that he was only 12 weeks old and something was obviously wrong. I took my baby to his regular vet later in the week where my vet reviewed the blood work completed at princess animal hospital. He was shocked that they allowed me to take him home and didn’t prescribe him any medication. His blood work was not NORMAL as they stated his white blood cells where off the chart and immediately my vet told me he had a severe infection. My dog was prescribed anti-biotics given another blood test and had an X-ray done. A few days went by and my baby didn’t get any better. I had to take him again back to the vet where they tried other medications. I’m heartbroken to say my dog was put to rest on Thursday. I wish they had taken the time and not told me that my dog had normal blood work as it was obviously not. I’m extremely disappointed and now have to mourn the loss of my dog, not to mention the absurd amount they charged me.

Thank goodness for this clinic. Almost every vet I called gave me a two month wait time for an appointment, but one or two kindly referred me to the urgent care at this clinic. Because other patients were much more critical we waited 5 hours, but same day care is a miracle. All the staff have been kind, compassionate, and responsive. Something was missed the first visit, so over phone and email the vet did an immediate followup consult and prescribed antibiotics. If you need care right away and can't wait weeks or months to see your vet, this is the place!

Princess Animal Hospital was there for me on one of the darkest days of my life.

The staff was exceptionally understanding and compassionate, and I truly felt that they always had my pet's best interests at heart.

Dr. Guzman was incredibly thorough and kind throughout the whole ordeal and went to great lengths to keep us informed every step.

I will never forget the compassion, care, and competency that I was afforded.

This establishment is an incredible boon to our community.

The service my husband and I received here was excellent. It was such a difficult time for us. Our senior cat was very sick and we knew it was time to take her in. Everyone was compassionate and caring. The person who answered the phone, the vet tech and the Doctor were extremly compassionate and caring. I would 100 percent recommend this hospital. We want to say a special thank you to Doctor Guzman. She's a very caring and knowledgeable person. Thank you!

I had to bring in my cat for a slight emergency and although it was a long wait and a bit expensive I was relieved to get friendly, quality same day care. My cats feeling better and I now know if anything extremely serious happens I have somewhere to go without an appointment.

Our Corso was suffering and we did not have a vet for him. We were told to go here as they handled emergencies. Well myself and many others waited and waited. Wee were always told.another hr.that turned in almost 8hrs waiting for them. We watched lots of people go in and out with their pets and leave. We were totally ignored. I felt like I had a contagious disease. The nurses were nice but the owners need to do a reality check. I will never use this hospital ever. And maybe it was a blessing as we were told by our new vet that we saw in minutes.not hrs.that they would have charged us over two grand to get done what was needed. These folks will make you wait.make you feel that there is something wrong with you.make your pet suffer for hrs not caring at all. Do yourself a favor and find somebody else.shame on you folks!

One of the best Clinics I've ever been to. We came in out of town and the staff was beyond courteous to help. The clinic didn't go for the cash grab of adding extra appointments prior to the surgery, didn't push unnecessary procedures. We are beyond pleased with this clinic. Highly recommended it. We have been going to Princess Animal Hospital for about three years now. They were originally my back up care incase my veterinarian was unable to see them, now they are my full time care. We personally see Dr. Caudle for our chinchillas and degus health care needs. I personally love how they let my pets run around on the floor, I really think this helps take the stress and anxiety away from my pets when their there for a check up. I also love how Dr. Caudle and his assistant sit on the floor to do their exam. I personally find the exam tables dangerous for these small pets, so this one simple action is a huge one in my books. I can contact Dr. Caudle by email with any concerns or questions I have, and he is always happy to help. The staff are really friendly and no exactly who I and my pet are which makes me feel special and important. Most recently Dr. Caudle suggested we seek a chinchilla specialist for my chinchillas dental disease, and we did. Unfortunately we received some bad news and it was best suggested we put him to rest. When it came time to do so Dr. Caudle came in early for me, bought me to a special room, gave me plenty of time before and after the fact, he was the only one I saw which was nice because I really didn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of people in that moment. I'd like to add that I was alone and when my closest friend showed up to comfort me he had know trouble getting in.

I would recommend Princess Animal Hospital to any pet owner.

Having to wait 6-8 hours, claiming you’re “taking customers in” while there is no waiting customers entering the building. It is clear your priority is money-spending clients, and not the animals with genuine emergencies. Very shady, not recommended.

The team at this emergency vet is responsive and patient and overall very sweet and comforting. Dr. Rose saw my little dog after he got a bite, and she was very kind to explain everything about the injury and treatment to me. The entire staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with despite the stress behind our visit! Would definitely recommend.

Left an urgent dog with no attention to stitches and staples popping and by tomorrow 70 more will pop.worst animal hospital, just cleans the wound and sends the dog home and tells us to goto Ottawa.we can't afford the gas.

Thank you to the staff who was working feb 20. Unfortually i didnt catch the name of the tech or the vet who helped us. My husband and I took our sick dog here to say goodbye. When we arrived we had to call and were told there was a bit of a wait time and to wait in the car. At first i was a little upset about this since we called ahead but because it is a first come first serve animal hospital i understand. And the wait time wasnt horrible. It was a blessing because it allowed me more time to spend with my dog. When it was our turn the vet explained the process and answered all of our questions. I was worried because of Covid that we werent going to be allowed in with him. The staff was very understanding and caring about our sitution. They allowed us to come in the clinic and be with our dog in his final moments. They allowed us as much time as we needed to say goodbye.

I am very happy with the care and service that was provided for my rabbit. My most recent visit was for his neutering. I really appreciated that the team communicated with us immediately after his surgery, to give us peace of mind. Post opt instructions / info was communicated great. I also received two calls from the clinic the next day for follow up. I overall had a great experience with this clinic and found the team to be very knowledgeable, friendly and very supportive during the process:)

After hours clinic is not informative. I gave this hospital the benefit of my doubt as I went for a second time. The first time I was the only car in the parking lot at 3am and was told the vet would be out "soon". I waited 45 minutes and called them again. I was told that the vet was busy, but "soon". I drove away after over an hour and went to the other Pet Hospital in town. Second visit I called ahead and was told to come after 6pm. I came after 6pm and was told by the receptionist that "someone will be out soon". I completely understand that if a pet comes in with more serious issues that they should be looked after first. But, the point of my bad review is due to the lack of communication to your clients. I noticed the same copied response to those that have given a bad review of wait times. This is how I found out how they determine who is seen first. I have no clue how many vets are on staff, where I am in the so called "queue" or if I should of spent my 2.5 hours of waiting, before I drove off just staying home with my family. Communication is key and only fair to those that choose your services.

From the moment they answered my call, to the moment we left the parking lot, Princess Animal Hospital exceeded my expectations for a 24hr emergency vet hospital. They were compassionate and patient with my large breed dog and a doting dog-mom like me.
My Boerboel ingested so much sand at the beach we went to that morning, and come the evening, she was shaking and vomiting. I was incredibly worried and took her straight to the hospital.
I expected to wait for a long time at emerge, and for them to see more critical patients first, but luckily it was a slower night. They were able to see Megatron and figure out what she needed right away. They gave her a shot, some meds and some GI food for home. She was so perky and so happy when she came out, that I knew they treated her like one of their own. She was feeling better the next morning!

We took our dog there after she was attacked by a bulldog.
They said it would be a few hours. We waited over 2 hrs with the dog's gaping wounds.
Then they tell us that they can't do it and sent us away.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would have.

Brought my cat who was very ill, they saw him right away and were very informative about our options and how to proceed. They were very supportive and nice. I am very thankful for the staff there.

My dog needed to go for an emergency exam as my vet was closed on the weekend. I do appreciate that they are always open. After the exam, a vet came out to speak with me. They handed me a quote for $3000. I was a bit taken back, but they basically lead the conversation with "don't freak about the price" rather than trying to calm my nerves in anyway about my dog. Then, I was given confusing instructions to get a second opinion either from another emergency vet or my own on Monday. Then they asked if I wanted to move ahead with the quote. It just seemed very all over the place. The vet techs were very nice. I decided on the second opinion because I just felt off.

Fast forward to this past weekend, I called to see if they could help with meds over Thanksgiving as I was 1 day short on the antibiotic. I figured it was my best shot since they did the emergency exam and they knew what was wrong with her, even though I got the second opinion and work done elsewhere. I was told on the phone probably not, which I understand, but was still told the vets were currently busy on the phone and they could ask when one was free to have the vet call me back. I never received the call.

On top of this, my own vet was shocked they didn't start my dog on antibiotics regardless of doing other steps that first day.

I'm not going to trash them or anything. They seemed nice. Prices were a bit high, but being an emergency vet that's pretty common. Maybe they're extremely busy, but I just wouldn't trust taking my dog here again.

They are always nice here and everything but getting seen at the emergency vet is starting to become a real challenge. I know people don’t really care about rats, but we’ve been trying to get our pet rat Bean seen two days in a row after she was bitten by our other rat. We are usually waiting for close to 4-5 hours after we work and giving up to go home because there are more emergencies that keep coming in… My poor rat most likely has an infection and could die if we let this bite go on longer. I would book an appointment, but y’all are booked up extremely late into the year because you have a very limited amount of exotic vets. I don’t pretend to know what it’s like to be a vet but with the wait we have to endure we could have an actual appointment within two weeks or less by driving to another vet three hours away for half the price.

My pug some how broke her dew claw. We went to the triage, and even though it was 8 hrs before we were seen, they were great. They had to remove her nail, wrap it in a bandage, gave her medication for pain and a cone. I didn't have enough money, so they didn't charge me for the bandage and are letting me pay them the rest when I bring her in September for a check-up. The staff are amazing. They are very understanding of everyone's different situations. I highly recommend this place for your pets care!

I can’t say enough about the Princess Animal Hospital. Our 9 month old lab gave us quite the scare when he would not walk and had a significant limp. We just moved to Kingston and did not have a vet picked yet. We called and had an appointment 2 hours later. The service we received was excellent. Dr Caudle and Michelle were fantastic. They were caring and handled my pup with such care and made him feel safe. It is very clear that the animals health and comfort are top priority. I did not feel pressured or pushed into any unnecessary service, medication, etc. I was asked if I was comfortable with each medication and recommendation and the price (which was very reasonable). All my questions were answered and everything was explained in great detail. The team provided one of the best vet experiences I have had. I am so pleased our pup is on the mend and recovering quickly. We will be coming back for all our veterinarian needs. Thank you! 10/10

Our daughter brought her 9 wk puppy to the Hospital on Saturday night after he was bitten in the face by another dog. Waited 3 hrs (until 1 am) and left without having been seen after being told likely would be a 1 hr wait. She returned Sunday morning at approx 11 am; waited 5 hrs in the parking lot and again ended up having to leave without puppy being seen. We do understand the concept of triage and having to be displaced when a life threatening emergency rolls in but all she was looking for were some antibiotics for him - a process that would probably have taken 10 minutes and then they would have been out of the Hospital's way, or be honest and tell people they are not urgent enough to be seen that day.

I can’t say enough about the Princess Animal Hospital. They are kind, professional and have gone above and beyond every time I have had to be there. I am so pleased to have found such a wonderful veterinarian clinic for my pets.

Waited for 2 hours only to be told our sick dog wouldn't be seen due to a c section. Not sure that was an emergency or just more lucrative. Not capable in my opinion to see everyone who arrived might want to increase your capacity versus sending away sick dogs.

Quick, professional, and kind service for our anxious border collie rescue who met her first porcupine last night. Thanks to Paige and Dr. J. P.especially for caring for her so well and being flexible with her needs. Highly recommend!

I was concerned about my cat's behaviour and called to see if we needed to come in. The person who answered the phone calmly triaged my cat's symptoms and gave me all the right answers to keep him safe without being alarmist. I haven't even had an appointment here but will definitely be booking one soon!

Took our 3 year old tabby here today to get him emergency care as he hasn't been himself for the last two days, not making a BM while also puking and not eating.which I would classify as an emergency. Unfortunately we waited 3 hours outside without being seen or spoken to. I would call every hour to check in to see if we would be able to have an estimate and was told to continue to wait as they have other appointments. Im not sure what classifies an emergency vet clinic other than being open 24 hours but it seemed like they had no regard for the well being of our cat. We left after 3 hours in hopes that we might be able to get him in somewhere else. I would like to add that we were very kind and polite the whole time. In future this clinic might benefit from more staffing as well as organizational management.

One of my cats, Abigale, has congestive heart failure. When she started rapidly declining one night, we feared the worst.
We brought her into the afterhours clinic where she received comprehensive care from Dr. Lang. They brought her in quickly and Dr. Lang was able to pinpoint the problem and provided solutions and a treatment plan for her going forward. He also took the time to explain what exactly was going on with her, which was greatly appreciated.
Abby is with us today thanks to the quick action of the team at Princess Animal Hospital.
I hope we are never in this position again but if we are in need of an after-hours vet, we will be coming straight to Princess Animal Hospital.

Went to Princess at 3: 15AM from the Ottawa area, as they were the only ones available to see a sick 8 month old puppy. Professional service in the middle of the night. Thank you

We had a positively awesome experience bringing Zipper (our cat) here for after-hours care. He had a ruptured gland and everyone we spoke with was so kind and helpful. From the lady we spoke to on the phone to the veterinarian and assistant, it was a wonderful trip and he was taken care of very well. He’s now fully recovered and back to his old self. Thank you Dr. Doyle!

I had to wait 3 hours for the emergency service. I took my sick hamster in and they told me it would cost 200 dollars to have her euthanized. I took her to a humane society and they did it for 45 dollars. I spent 200 dollars for 4 days worth of pain meds and an exam, which I thought was too much.

Dr. Greenwood did an amazing job at trying to keep our sweet boy alive. Unfortunately, he had to be put down yesterday due to what she thinks was liver disease. Since the beginning, she worked hard to try and diagnose our cat but he was a mystery! Thank you for everything, we appreciate it so much!

We have 3 animals and have been with this clinic for around 3 years. Our initial experience with both the Princess and Bayridge locations have been nothing but positive. In recent months, it has been increasingly more difficult to request appointments with the same vet that all our animals see. Receptionists on the phone have been vague when we request the availability of our usual vet, and it often makes it impossible to book an appointment with her. Recently our animals have been seeing different vets and I find this frustrating as different vets give conflicting opinions. Our usual vet Dr. Ouellet knows our animals and is always kind, knowledgable, and reasonable with her recommendations, while other vets we've seen have pushed for expensive tests and procedures. It also makes it very stressful for our anxious dog to have to meet different vets everytime he visits, and even though this was explicitly mentioned on the phone, there was still little transparency when we requested an appointment with Dr. Ouellet. We will be taking our pets somewhere else given our recent experience with the clinic.

I’m giving 3 stars because they did treat my cat Pepper well.

The issue I have is the cost of service. Once my cat was taken in at 12: 30 pm (after a 2 hour wait in the parking lot) they called with the diagnosis and informed me it would be $2700 to treat including a 48 hour stay. I was called on Sunday which according to the time he went in was about 30 hours. They were convinced that he’d been dropped off at 12: 30 am not pm. I told them I’d pick him up at 5am Monday morning and they agreed. I received another call about half an hour later and was told that because I was going past 1am they wanted another $1500 which would have put my bill up to over $4000. I picked my cat up at 12am. I really hope I never need their services again.

I can’t thank the hospital enough for how professional the ladies who were working February 20th. I unfortunately had to lay my cat of 18 years to rest and I was astonished at the price difference between midland hospital to princess animal 10/10 for the level of compassion and professionalism. Thank you again made this hardship much better.

This clinic is the most caring pet services clinic I have been to. The service was very professional and protocol was followed. Very well organized.

I have always appreciated the extreme care and compassion they show to my cats. They really take the time to fully understand and explore all issues you may have with your pet and work with you to find the best solution at the price point that you are comfortable at. I have nothing but the utmost respect and trust in the vets and the staff at Princess Animal Hospital.

I have recently taken my 4 month old puppy for his 3rd set of shots. So far I've been charged $500 for a puppy exam and vaccinations, not including rabies. I am told I will have to pay another exam fee for a total of around $750 for shots which is astronomical. That's 3 exam fees in less than 3 months because I wanted to separate the rabies shot rather than giving so many vaccines at once. I went to a different vet clinic a few years ago and paid one time $170 and never had to pay again for the subsequent shots.

The first vet I saw, Dr. Ouillet was very nice and did not try to upsell or tell me to feed veterinarian food. I am feeding a high quality food as it is. The second vet I had a terrible experience with, Dr. Greenwood. I asked about alternatives to putting toxic flea medications on my dog every month for his whole life and was given no advice. I was then told I need to be feeding science diet or royal canin (both of which contain inferior ingredients including by-products and massive amounts of corn). I was then shocked when I went to pay and they charged me an additional $300 on top of the $250 I had already paid and then told me I will need to pay another exam fee in a month when I bring my dog back for rabies. I never write reviews but that was very disappointing.

The vet techs I spoke with were all very kind and I liked the first vet I saw but they need to get their pricing in check and be able to offer advice to clients besides upselling toxic chemicals and poor quality food that will only harm your pet's health in the long run.

Took my dog here for the first time. They were amazing, friendly and was really nice to my dog, I highly recommend taking your pets to them:)

Princess Animal Hospital went above and beyond for us. The team was so helpful in caring for our cat when she was sick. They were supportive in guiding us towards diagnostics and treatments. We were never made to feel poorly when we couldn't pay for a full course of bloodwork or the most expensive medications. They were very good to lay all of the options on the table for us to make the best possible decision. When our sweet girl passed away, the team was so compassionate and caring, making us feel so supported. The veterinarians were always quick to respond to phone calls (and even emails!), and the rest of the staff was equally as amazing. We are so grateful for all of their hard work and kindness. It will certainly stay with us, as you all made a very tough time a little less tough for us. Thanks again Princess Animal Hospital team.

I recently had to take my chinchilla for an emergency appointment as my regular vet wasn't available during that time. I dealt with Dr. Sean Lang and he took very good care of my baby. He inspected her quickly, which is needed for a chinchilla as they are restless. He noted the small things about her health that weren't my area of concern and I was very impressed with him. He made future arrangements in case I needed help and exotic vets were unavailable. I'm incredibly impressed with the service and overall care of my little girl.

I gave this clinic a few appointments to make an ultimate decision that I would not refer them. Up selling products is their most important part of care during all appointments in my first year of my puppy’s life, even when I ask them to stop up selling they continue. I was appreciative to win a free nail trim via fb photo contest, but they wouldn’t let me stay with my dog and it left a poor taste in my mouth to have to wonder if my dog was ok with doing this in the vet office with vet techs we don’t know.

It is wonderful to find an Animal Hospital with very caring staff. I know my baby Yorkie girl is in good hands. I wasn't comfortable trimming her nails, but the Dr.took the time to show me exactly how to do it, and how to look at the trimmed nail to determine if it could be shorter. I know I have found the perfect place to look after Suzi's health, and a bonus, the hospital is just a kilometer from my home.

We took our 6 week old puppy Presley in for his first visit today. The staff were very accomodating and friendly.
Dr. Joelle Ouellet and Katherine were very knowledgeable and thorough in providing us information. It was a great experience and we highly recommend anyone looking for a trust worthy and reputable veternarian service to check them out!

As an adult man who considers my rodents to be part of my family, my little hamsters and I have been the butt of many jokes. I contacted Princess Animal Hospital and booked an appointment with concerns about my ham, Atlas. They emailed me back so quickly and really validated me, and arrange a next day appointment instead. In the office, they treated it just as professionally and seriously as a doctor would with a sick child and concerned parent.

They made me feel so reassured, and I know my "little exotics" are in the right hands!:)

First puppy visit went well. Dr L and staff made our new baby feel comfortable and not the least bit nervous.

I took my 2 new kittens to the vet for check up and booster shots. Amazing staff and vet. They were patient with the 2 kittens, gentle the kittens didn't even notice the shots and explained everything along with next steps to me.

Always really good with my rats, very gentle and calm. Doctors will sit on the floor to make her comfortable rather than making her sit on the wide open exam table. Always very willing to listen and work with us. Overall really great care.

Just moved from the UK and needed my cats to be checked over, I contacted Princess Animal Hospital online and they bent over backwards to help me. They offered flexible times and a quick appointment.the practice is clean and friendly, In the UK my cats were nervous at the vets but both boys were stress free and care and attention was given to both. We were not rushed and I felt the price was very reasonable

Took us in quickly and took great care of our bunny. Called the next day for follow up to ensure his meds were helping

My border collie, Skye, was in dire straits. We were referred to Princess Animal Hospital. Dr. Latimer performed an ultrasound, explained his findings and recommended that the images be reviewed by a specialist. We had the report back within a few hours and a suggested course of action.

I was very impressed and pleased with the caring approach of the staff and Dr. Latimer's thoroughness, professionalism and attention to what is important when your furry one is in distress.

If I lived in Kingston, this would be my vet clinic.

This hospital is the best hospital I have ever been to. The staff are absolutely amazing with both the owners and furry friends. This team goes above and beyond in all aspects. I have never met more caring individuals. I feel very lucky to have had their support, especially recently with my own fur babies.

Dr Lang was amazing with our ferret, very knowledgeable, and kind. Pocket seemed to be perfectly relaxed around him

My wife got the dog's shots and a quote for a dental cleaning. They suggested my wife get the dog's blood work first in preparation for the cleaning. Well the blood work was $217 alone. The quote for the cleaning was $819 for a dog that weighs 17lbs.

Even though we were already wrapped in thanks to the blood work, we went looking else where. Found another Vet on Division St.that charged us 565 + tax and INCLUDED blood work. Even after the extra consultation charge, we still saved $81 on the $819 quoted from Princess Animal Hospital. Sadly, we still lost out on the cost of the blood work.

UPDATE: Monica at Princess Animal Hospital seen my review and felt bad that we essentially paid twice for the blood work and offered me a refund for that portion. I must say that even though we found their price to be higher that their customer service is top notch. I have changed my review to reflect that.

I had the opportunity to work along side the staff and a pleasure to bring my new puppy to them! Honest, friendly and loving people. Any questions or concerns they are always there for help.

I recently joined this clinic to care for my 2 cats. My first experience was terribly sad in that one of my cats was very ill and ultimately had to be humanely euthanized.but I cannot say enough about the tremendous support, caring and kindness to my dear sweet Benka and me as we worked through every step of very hard decisions about Benka's care.

This is by far the BEST veterinary clinic I've ever worked with. I look forward to happier times caring for the health of my other cat Baba.

Princess Animal Hospital has cared for my Dogs for almost 20 years. To me and my 4 legged Friends Team PAH has always been OUTSTANDING! The Techs are kind, considerate and always so eager to assist and they work so well together.
