Just left the store at 130 and want to immediately thank the 2 ladies and 1 gentleman working cash, and the blonde lady who came up to assist when we had a question about my car. Excellent customer service! Will use this store for all my auto needs.

Called ahead to see if they had the trailer part i needed, not only was i told they had it it stock, was also told they had different sizes.drove an hour to go buy what i needed only to find out they dont even stock the item i was looking for.

One item out of stock today, although online showed there was inventory. The store was quite busy this morning, and it was difficult to find any customer service on the floor. However, when I finally found some assistance (from a cashier) she was very helpful and friendly.

Usually well stocked but sale items can be iffy. Always seems to take longer than planned - unless I take my wife with me ;)
Their website is terrible. I have yet to go on and not have it freeze or need to refresh (same regardless of if it's my phone, tablet, persnal laptop or wirk computer). I recently tried to order sale items from it but it took so long that they ran out of stock on what I wanted while I watched my cart spin. Very frustrating when you can't even go to the store to get it there because they never sent any
Commenting as it always been a regular thing but is getting worse.

Exemplary customer service at this Cambridge location. The manager Nick just makes it right, no matter the situation. You can find everything you need here and many things you didn't until you saw them lol
Gotta love a store that is just dedicated to good deals on everything. Well done!

Great place to get deals! Lots of staff on hand to help you find what you want. I even had a staff member give me the last sales price on a Reese total lock set which was %50 off THANKS every dollar counts

Went into the kitchener location after being told by the brantford location that kitchener had several In stock of the utility Dollie’s that are on sale in the booklet flyer. I stood in the register line as I couldn’t find help where the dollies are located and asked the cashier about the dolly. I proceeded to tell her that I would like to purchase said dolly that is advertised in the flyer and she said that “I think they are all gone” I asked if she could check and her response was “well do you have a SKU # and I said I didn’t. I asked if she had a flyer she reached under the counter grabbed the booklet and tossed it at me implying that I should be the one to look up the sku number then told me she’s a cashier and didn’t have the ability to look it up. Then why ask me for a sku number? I told her that I didn’t appreciate her tossing a booklet at me and that princess auto has just lost my business and exited the store shaking, angry and appalled at how I was treated. The roofing company I own has spent a lot of money is this store and we have now decided to shop elsewhere. Do better princess auto!

Love Princess Auto. But man alive that woman at the cash has to be the most miserable person I've seen. White hair not young. I am a regular customer and loathe having to deal with her at all. Today she was screaming at customers about which lines to use. The young girl at cash looked scared. Whoever runs this store needs to sort her out.

Great place for tools. Like to go there from time to time and see what's new. Their Power Fist brand of tools is as good as any other "name brand", but much cheaper. Their surplus dept is a great way to waste a few hours on a rainy day, never know what you'll find.

This place is horrible now.it use to be good. It is so crowded so you can't walk down isles. You ask employees for help to find something and they tell you they are too busy.well thanks.for nothing I guess. I'm taking my business elewhere

Princess auto use to be one of my favorite stores. This place has just turned into a junk yard over covid. The stock is stacked to the rafters. Everything is now confused, nothing there makes sense anymore. It is too small. The isles are too small for 2carts to pass each other. Numerous company carts & other equipment is scattered through the store making maneuvering safely with any form of social distance all but impossible. Nothing there is organized just stack anything where ever there is a space and no one can find anything. I spent over an hour there looking for a 1/2 dozen on sale items. Finally gave up and left after only being able to find about 1/2 of them and that is after asking a couple times for help. First time just got only a general direction area the next fellow actually helped me find something after we both searched for 10 min he found what I was looking for not anyplace that made any sense but stacked on top of a bunch of other unrelated items. This store needs a good purge and a complete reorganization and likely a big addition. Love princess auto but this store has grown out of any form of control.

I've had the same problem as others here, ordered a sale item online, got a confirmation email, and had even contacted their customer service phone number to confirm my purchase went through. I was told everything was fine with my order. The next day I received an email saying my order was being cancelled as all their inventory was sold. I contacted them again, wondering why they wouldn't offer a suitable substitute in this case, and was basically told they were out of any inventory in any of their stores for any of the various models available. (I don't know, Camco must have mysteriously gone out of business and stopped producing RV supplies?) I could, of course, buy something else if I wanted! Reputable companies make good on their mistakes. Clearly princess auto isn't a reputable company. Last time spending my money there.

Princess is a fabulous place for many shop items and supplies. I recently purchased the 4 piece ratcheting pipe threader set. Ok quality for the price. It is necessary to set the die teeth before using. They are so far out the teeth warp the black iron pipe and tear the threads. Hopefully you have a threaded piece already to set the teeth. Once set they work well, not great but good enough. I would not use for gas work.

I had the absolute worst experience with this company. I have had the occasional good experience shopping in store at this location but due to the Covid pandemic I was forced to use the online ordering process and would like to say the experience was horrible and I believe borders in false advertisement in respect to their flyer. I was excited to see that in the may 25th flyer that there were inflatable paddle boards offered for sale. The price seemed reasonable and I decided to order. I had a bad experience also trying to order a sawmill with limited availability so I phoned customer service on the 24th to see what time I could order as I was pretty excited about the purchase and did not want to miss out. They advised that later that day to order online as the product was typically released afternoon to evening. I completed this process and was forwarded a confirmation that the product was being “picked” and I would be receiving an email when shipping was taking place. I was happy at this time and told my kids we were getting some new summer toys. The next day I received an email stating my order was cancelled with no explanation and a suggestion I cancelled it. I was disappointed so I phoned customer service back. The operator was rude and not receptive to my concerns and simply said they were out of stock too bad. I feel he probably has to deal with this type of complaint all the time. I suspect that even though the flyer goes out to millions of homes Princess Auto only had a few of these items and ship 1 or 2 to select stores as a loss leader to entice people in the doors and when not available the customer spends on various household items. I’m concerned about this practice as it wastes the consumers time.

The store has very unique tools and items, if you are handyman, farmer, auto mechanic or do it yourself person this store will give you the edge. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable.

Love this place. I went in for a set of precision tools and left with a mig welder at 70% off. All I will say is come with extra money because they have a lot of stuff that you didn't even know you wanted!

Poor service and unclear instructions when picking up a curbside order purchased online. Email confirmation provided instructions for pickup that indicated I should physically show my order email to an associate, and that the associates can be found in store. In reality they actually want you to call when you arrive, and the employees were frustrated and rude when I tried to follow the instructions I was provided by email. Little to no signage or instructions in the parking lot to indicate pickup instructions. While I was there I saw atleast two other people make the same mistake I did and try to enter the store for their order. The store should provide correct information for pickup, set up clear signage/instructions in the parking lot, and fix the attitude of the staff to improve the pickup process.

Extremely poor customer service. It shouldn't take 8 hours to pick up an item that's in stock and I shouldn't get bad attitude from the representative on the phone when I call about it. I don't care how "swamped" you are, you can't speak that way to your customers. Please train your customer service employees to learn what "tone of voice" means. It goes a long way.

Its the most disorganized Princess its best to order online and pickup shopping there drives you nuts finding stuff. They take 4 people to run and find one thing.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PrincessAuto location.

Until today, I was a truly fan of PrincessAuto. If the option for "Zero stars" was available, that's what they would have gotten.

I come to this store (PrincessAuto Kitchener) in order to pick-up the order I made "9 days" ago.

I parked at the "Curbside pick-up" demarcation. Yes, the signs are still there. I called the store and I selected option #3 for Curbside pick-up as the menu stated. I spoke with a female staff member and she said that they are no longer providing the Curbside pick-up service. Very calm and polite I mentioned that is still on their phone menu option and also that the signs are at the parking lot. She told me that I have to go inside for my order. I also mentioned that I have my son (17 months old) sleeping and if she can do the exception; her answer was no and that I have to come at a different time or when I could come in.

This store is in Kitchener, I live in Guelph and my wife and I have different work schedule what makes it very difficult for me.

I called again and I don't know if I got the same female person or not. My mistake was not asked for her name. We discussed my situation and there was no way I could receive help from her/store (5: 14pm).

I went inside the store carrying my sleeping baby. I asked for a manager and it never showed up. I went to pick-up my order and there's where the following story comes:

I made an online order on Saturday June 5th. I received the email yesterday June 14th that my order was ready for pick-up but the canceled some items that I ordered.

9 days it took to process my order and is incomplete. If it was going to take this long, at least make sure the the item is provided because it is available online. They could have simply made the request to be sent to their store.

To conclude: They are NOT helpful and seems they don't care at all about their customers.

As I father, and I know that many people can relate.is NOT acceptable and /or tolerable when someone mess with your son's in any way, including their sleep. I haven't been do disappointed until today.

Note: my son woke up while inside the store kinda disoriented and scared, he was hugging me very tight.

Avoid curbside pick up. Three days for one item and still nothing. I called got we are very backed up. I dont know any other retailer who is 3 plus days behind. I am sorry but three days.

Ordered 2 items the first day of the sale, online inventory stated 11, got my email confirmation right away that they will be shipped out right away. Next day I get an email saying the order was cancelled and they didn’t have any. Why have stuff in your flyer if you don’t have any in all your stores? Tried calling customer service but was waiting on hold for 30+ minutes both times. Would love to support a Canadian company but their customer service sucks

Came in looking for a few items.some staff, 1 in piticulare was very rude and short with her help.i know people have bad days, but to make everyone take her rath is unacceptable. I was quite set back from her approach and manners. I will not be going to this store for a very long time, Very Disappointed.left the store and did not buy the items i was after.most likely will Never return

Brutal customer service, cashier rude and ignorant after cashed out about prices not correct. Instead of apologizing and investigating she tore me a strip. When asked to speak to a manager went through one ear out the other no glue. Long time customer disappointed will not shop there again

I'm astounded at the customer service I just received over the phone. If I wanted to look at the website, I would've, I called to talk to a person, and the person I got sounded like an older lady that had no idea what I was talking about when I said "nylon double braided rope". Disappointing, sorry but ya won't be getting my business as I can look on Amazon too.

So this happened today, we went to the store to buy gas water pump to drain water from our property, there was an old lady working there and we asked for an assistance and she gave us an attitude and without explaining anything about the product she left the area.
We can understand if she does not know about the product, she can at least asked some one else to help us.

P.s - There was other employees who are just awesome and they assisted us with the product.

They are very friendly and helpful however I twice tried to buy a sale item that they needed a manager to override the price it scanned for. I waited 15 minutes the first time before choosing to not buy it. The next time I was there the same thing happend so I just paid full price instead of waiting around. This would not happen at a major retailer. They post a star for it. The staff is great however.

Called twice for curb side pick up first time I was told to go online and look up a part number because they were too busy to help me, the second time I was told they do not sell the part. Never had a good trip to this store
